Great one-star michelin restaurant. Chef does the food great in an open kitchen concept. Service was good and we enjoyed our dining experience.
Celebrate my birthday here for dinner.Love their bread and overall was good
Visited for many times and always love to back to the restaurant....
Food was awesome, presentation of food was fabulous, it impressed me
Great food, great staff, great service. Great everything. Always a delight coming herev
The decoration of the restaurant is simple and elegant. The good is very fine. The service is excellent. The rhubarb dessert is a treasure. The wine menu is very complete. It was a very nice moment.
Warm and attentive service. Small menu but the 6 savoury dishes our table had were well conceptualised, executed and presented. Fave dishes: the pigeon was beautifully cooked, the jus for the wagyu tenderlion was rich and had depth of flavour.
Very good experience, the service was awesome. The menu was a real discovery trip to French cuisine and the choice of wines just perfect. We will be back for sure.
An amazing night, Rhubarb Le Restaurant lived up to our expectations. The perfect place for a small group with the quiet but intimate atmospheric. The food was matriculates in presentation and flavor.
Excellent service and generous portions of food servings . We have been to many French dining and this is the first one my wife says she had too much to eat. My youngest son who is the worst critic ever enjoyed the food as well . Great job team Rhubarb. You deserve your Michelin
Such a good dining experience! Really enjoy the French cuisine with my wife for her birthday 🎂. Strongly recommend to all who love western food.
Nice restaurant but it was noisy during dinner time. Food presentation were nice but pricey. Lunch menu is much better and value for money compared to dinner menu.
This is our second visit there and again, we were attended by a very charming team of staff. We chose dishes from the ala carte menu this time. The food was absolutely delicious which came creatively plated. We had 3 courses each and it was more than adequate for a dinner meal. The courses were quite generous in portions. We could have shared the dessert and it would have been still as satisfying. Yet again, Rhubarb continued to impress us.
High quality ingredients, flawless technique, beautiful presentation and truly amazing food!! Loved the personal attention, the chef visited each table and signed my menu! We definitely recommend to all and will be back!
Very tasty dishes which are original in the presentation and the taste. The combination of products is really well done. The service is very friendly and you feel immediately comfortable. Great restaurant.
Quaint little place with excellent atmosphere. Service was immaculate. Food is just spectacular but the quail was a little too salty for my liking, still great nevertheless.
The food was well executed and the service was warm. The balance of Flavours was there and there was some surprises in the dishes presented.
Our dishes came in a variety of textures and each was a combination of tastes that was thoughtfully put together. The interior decoration was simple and aesthetically pleasing. The lunch set we had was worth the price. Overall, a pleasant experience.
great dining experience and service was great. had the lunchtime chef surprise set menu and it was indeed worthy of a fine dining experience. the menu had some innovative creations which I will not spoil the mood by describing it here.
Overall an excellent experience. The food was fabulous - the first course of the English muffin was very hearty. Highly recommend the quail with the crisp skin.
The moment you stepped into the place, you forgot you are in Singapore, but rather in Paris. The ambiance of the place was spectacular. The food is even better! All the staffs were very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Francis's ability to pair wine to all of our dishes was simply amazing. If you are looking for somewhere to fine-dine French food, look no further.
We ordered the chefs menu $150 with wine pairing $120. This was intended to celebrate my wife's birthday and Rhubarb did not disappoint. The great care the staff took with our food and with us was very impressive and they didn't know that it was for something special! The food was out of this world in terms of taste and presentation. Highly recommended.
Lovely restaurant and great environment for dining. The staffs there are really friendly really enjoyed my dinner with my family at there, hop to visit again!
Food is good with surprise touches. Enjoyed it thoroughly! Warm and attentive service from the staff. Restaurant temperature was a bit warm though during lunch. Can improve on that.
The fish was too over cook , and the dessert was more like a pre- dessert , however the 3 first courses were really excellent .
Excellent service, lovely restaurant. Great food, good value lunch menu. The starters were really creative and delicious, main courses were simple and elegant. Rhubarb was generous in their offerings of amuse bouche and petit fours too.
Excellent ambience, service and food. Will definitely good back again. A a a a a a a a a a a a a a a
I came here for my husband's birthday celebration. It was good ambience and food was also excellent! We ordered Le Menu and we got full...
Tried the 5 course Chef's menu. Enjoyed all the courses. My favourites were the Foie Gras and the Veal. Overall good food and great service. They earned their star.
We had the degustation which was exquisite. The wine list was interesting and well priced, and so was the a la carte menu. Some fine dining restaurants leave you a bill as memorable as the experience, necessitating a long gap before the next visit. Rhubarb appears to have avoided that.
above expectation, absolutely perfect, a wonderful experience as usual and the best place to bring friends or customers to impress them, service was once more awsome
Food was good but not surprising. Service was excellent. The red wine recommended was exceptional. The most memorable dish was the airy whipped potato which was the side dish for my veal.
Overall nice experience. Service was good and Sommelier knowledge excellent. Some hits and misses with the dishes. Textures and balance not up to top standard in some cases for French fine dining.
First class food and good wine list. Some junior staff needs additional training :) But the overall experience is excellent, will recommend to friends and family.
Food was excellent and service very good, small and intimate restaurant, lucky enough to be seated next to the kitchen to watch the staff work their magic.
Amazing food ! Have tried the best French restaurants in Singapore (including odette) this is definitely a highlight! Thanks chef Paul and his wonderful team ! Aude
Excellent restaurant with impeccable service. Tastes are well balanced and not overpowering yet intriguing. Wine menu and recommendations are extensive and spot on. Cozy place with few tables with a view into the kitchen.
Great and attentive service, fabulous presentation and delicious food. Great value meal for a 1-star restaurant. I would like to re-visit, great ambience for business lunch.
Good food that is presented well. Friendly and helpful sommelier, with a wine list for all tastes and budgets. I only wondered why the chef had put the overly sweet "crispy grapes" on he plate with the pigeon.
A very small and intimate restaurant serving innovation food with very personalised service. Hidden away in Duxton hill. Do not miss the emulsion, butternut pumpking with black truffle puree.
Rhubarb le Restaurant is a small restaurant - only 7 tables and has a rather bland grey interior. We found the wine list lacking - lots of French wines but very little selection of new world wines and limited champagne options. We had a bottle of Gosset champagne - disappointing, wouldn't bother ordering it again. We saw other customers bringing their own wine - an option we weren't aware of any probably what we will do next time we visit. Not a huge menu but the descriptions sounded good. We opted to go a la carte rather than degustation. The food impressed us - was beautifully plated up and tasted fantastic. We had scallops and pork. Rlly for entree - an odd combination but very tasty. Main was Pigeon cooked two ways and the Toothfish with Pea and Mint Purée - both delicious. We shared a dessert - Poached Rhubarb with Rhubarb Sorbet and Vanilla Icecream. Dessert was my least favourite dish of the night - the rhubarb sorbet texture was a bit strange and the ice cream a little sweet for my taste. Notwithstanding that we had an enjoyable night out. Nice touch with the Chef interacting with the diners by serving one of the courses for each table personally. We found the service staff friendly and knowledgeable about the food - something not seen so often in Singapore but in my opinion integral to any good restaurant.
Excellent value for the lunch set. Very attentive service. Spacious dining area. Amazing food that is nicely presented. I definitely recommend this one star Michelin restaurant.
Good food, safe but some surprises. Pleasant ambience, nice and quiet for a cosy lunch with friends or business. Attentive service and not overly pretentious. Will recommend.
Brilliant food. The Lunch Set Menu was perfect. Flavours explode in your mouth. Great combinations of tastes. Personalised, and not obtrusive service. Dishes really well explained. There's a real pride in this place as to their food and reputation.
Very quaint French restaurant in the Duxton neighbourhood that served authentic French cuisine. Thoroughly enjoyed the foie gras with daikon, and the tender wagyu that struck a fine balance between taste and texture. Service was prompt, non-intrusive and the maitre was knowledgeable and provided good recommendations on wine pairing. Overall it was a great experience and I'm definitely revisiting.
Great food and personal attention. The pigeon with the grapes are a surprise and so is the rhubarb dessert, beautyful. A must try of you are in Singapore!
service is excellent in this small, cost restaurant with only seven tables. Overall, Sumptuous food and I love the foie gra. It is the best foie gra I had, nicely cooked, juicy in the inside yet crispy on the skin. The only dissatisfaction is the main course dory, which was overcooked and tasteless. One improvement is to cover up the open kitchen as the kitchen smoke could travel to the restaurant.
Great service, excellent food, nice wine selection at decent prices, it was a fantastic experience overall and probably one of my nicest meals ever in Singapore.
A bit hard to find from MRT station however the small restaurant with the open kitchen had a lovely ambience and even more wonderful food. Service was not at all intrusive & the menu was explained when the meal arrived at the table. More than met our expectations. However paying $12 for a bottle of water was a bit of a shock but then again, this is Singapore. The intimate atmosphere (7 tables) makes it a perfect place for a date night.
Did the 3 course meal. Excellent variety of ingredients, good value for money and perfect for a weekday lunch meeting. Service was great as well, loved the free flow freshly baked bread. Need an excuse to visit again.
