Atmosphere and food is good. Just abit far from the train station
Great Food with attentive service and comfortable environment for families
food is nice, quiet environment, they are friendly and attentive.
Food is great and the place is not too crowded , easy and free parking.
Nice food and price was reasonable. Had visited the restaurant twice.
the restaurant appears very dated and food was average. unlikely to go back again
Great experience. Food is good and good value for money. Presentation of food is nice. Service can do better. And the table we seated is not comfortable because of the blockage at the legs.
Staffs are very friendly and helpful. We are very grateful to be served.
The food is very nice. We ordered dimsum (have promotion buy 2 get 1) and live seafood (free flamb chicken), and we order share srimp is very nice. The mango dessert is nice too. Good place for lunch with ur family :)
Good value fresh fish nice peaceful location and free parking
Great food and patient service and nice ambience. Will go back to try the dim sum Great food Nice ambience Patient service Will go to try the dim sum.
I must say the restaurant makes effort to present food with nice decor. Service and food were above average. It’s a pity the restaurant will be closed by February 25. Soon hard to find a restaurant that sits on a hilly and lush environment in Singapore.
Amazing and wonderful foods and staff - worth another visit👍👍👍
Surprised by the choice of words of reviewers here. We came for lunch on the recommendation of a friend and discovered they had 1-for-1 for certain food items but chose to mix that with some orders of food from the main menu that cost more. I think that was a mistake because the quality of the food was geared towards 1-for-1 so even if you pay full price you don’t get the quality you pay for. It is gimmicky and cute for old aunties and kids whom were the main patrons when we visited. The famous dumplings were stuffed with oily fish instead of prawn, another major minus in my eyes. The gu lu yoke was very lousy and so was the soup that we ordered. It was a tired restaurant that looked like it belonged in the 80s. The 2 stars are for the staff who were nice and did their best despite the appearance of the restaurant and quality of the food. For people with more discerning taste, don’t waste your time and calories like I did!
Sure, here's a concise version: --- We had dim sum, and the food was beautifully crafted and delicious. The staff were friendly. It was a bit pricey, but the free parking was a nice perk.
Food was decent and instagramable, service was fast and good
Food presentation was great! Currently having promotion for seafood, so it was value for money. Food was tasty also!
Tim sum presentation is awesome, but with a price. .We ordered a sea cucumber clay pot was not to expectation. The sea cucumber is not braised property. The taste is blend, hard n had a funny after taste. Overall food is great
Considered pricey for the quantity and quality of food. Can see restaurant spend lots of effort spend on presentation
Simply amazed by the presentation of the food and its taste..
The food was served within 7-10min as we have already preorder. waiting time was decent. price and food portion are reasonable , and the food is,very good. worth making a trip down.
Food was good for the price. Char siew had too strong a porky taste, we took a bite and spat them out.
The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the fish soup and herbal drunken prawn.
Celebrating my hubby birthday. We enjoyed the wonderful dinner so much. Food taste - Very good Food presentation - Amazing, full of surprises. Service - Staffs are friendly and helpful. Price - Acceptable, reasonable Environment - Cosy Recommend - Strongly recommend Visit again - Definitely Thank you so much
Place is cosy. Nice food and staff is friendly and helpful.
All the dishes that we ordered were excellent: the Ladies’ finger ( crunchy with natural sweetness), pig stomach soup with fish maw (very robust), iced sweet and sour pork ( chilled on the outside and hot inside was tasty and interesting), charcoal tofu was light and subtle as it should be, and the fried brown and white rice was QQ just the way we liked it. The orh nee was a nice sweet end to the dinner.
Nice food, service good. will return for more. Parking is very convenient too.
Good Food Good People Nice soup price a bit expensive
Food is delicious and platings are very creative. A long walk from the outram mrt but it is worth it. Will be back for more.
Food was good. Staffs were helpful and friendly. Worth going.
Tim sum is nice , reasonably priced and very well presented aka fine dining style. service staff is attentive n obliging though quite overwhelmed. Roast duck is too dry n ambience wise abit noisy as its small n enclosed.
thank you very much for the promptness and good services always
There’s promotion now for dim sum. For the whole month of April. Enjoyed the food. Very nice.
It was a very good experience and the food is fabulous n delicious! Is a must try !
nice restaurant that has some interesting dishes. Always check on their current promotion as they have great promotional priced dishes
1. Staff is rude. Ordered a lychee prawn ball dish. Staff served but did not tell us how to take the food from the hanging tree. One of it dropped into the bowl of dry ice water while figuring how to take the food from the hanging tree. My sister asked the staff is it still edible as it dropped into the bowl of dry ice. The waitress replied in Chinese ‘不可以吃。是你们弄掉的”。What type of reply is this? We are not evening asking if they can replace the 1 dropped prawn ball! After that, we asked another waitress to take away the dropped prawn ball since cannot it as it dropped into the water. She said will replace another one while taking it away. Shortly she came back with a piping hot and ‘darken’ prawn ball. Just wondering if it’s the same one? 2. There’s function at the other side of the restaurant with singing. The dining experience is so noisy. 3. Tiger groupa on promotion which we ordered. After dinner when we are outside, we saw one and only tiger groupa in the fish tank with swimming in circle and shortly it was in its back at one corner of the tank. 4. The food overall is quite salty.
We had a family dinner at pearl hill restaurant. It was only less than one third full when we arrived at their dining hall. After ordering food took a while to be served despite it being fairly empty. Food was ok.
Lovely presentation n good taste . Good place for family dinner
Very good and well presented food, rarely get Dimsum from restaurants for dinner. Unfortunately the service leaves a poor taste in the mouth. Restaurant was packed and banquet hall was full also. Severe shortage of waiting staff whom I believe is also poorly or not trained, resulting in extremely long waiting time and chaos. Desserts were served before the main dishes in a few tables and soup was served as the last item. Kitchen cooks were obviously overwhelmed also. Would recommend proper training of staff for better efficiency and also if banquet hall is full, it’s better to turn down customers and stop taking bookings for the main dining area in future. Otherwise disappointed customers would not return again, which is a pity since the food is very good.
Food is good love the fun presentation for the dim sum, however on the high side for pricing given the portion size. Staffs seems abit untrained, in certain who does what 🤣🤣🤣
Nice food with good ambience. Free parking and quiet. Creative dishes.
Food is satisfactory but the waitress taking our order and serving us food could be much better improved.
Nice service and delicious food. It's better to travel by car to reach the restaurant.
Not bad coming back again n eating n enjoying the food and delicious
Good food but Dim Sum portion small. Service good. Pricing reasonable. But location of restaurant no good for people who do not drive.
Staffs were friendly and food was good. Will return again!
Visited on a weekday 6pm with 8pax. The Chinese restaurant was huge with many tables but only about 1/3 filled. They had exquisite designed teochew style dim sum but a few we wanted was sold out already this early in the evening hence might recommend to come early or lunch if wishes have more variety to select. The bday bun came beautifully displaced on tree trunk displays with dry ice effects, fish dumplings also crafted prettily. Siew mai had truffle fragrant and quail egg atop very nice taste. Of cos our mains meal came from having hotpot dishes and ingredients like fish slices was chewy ! beef slices ordered were all fresh and soup broth well executed. With the variety and foodfare, it's Definitely a mid/high end Chinese hotpot eatery with dim sum double hits on to visit list for occasions .
ok. Can consider coming again. Some food is nice. Up
