Dashi Master Marusaya

Really liked the Dashi porridge after the meal but quite pricey overall

Japanese bros based on fish was the very taste I missed mostly after leaving Japan. Would like to visit sometimes.

It's our second visit here. Food was good though meats for shabu were pricy. Dashi presentation this time (in a net) was less interesting than our previous visit which came in a Japanese wooden drawer. Glad that they could accommodate my last min addition of pax despite being Mother's Day weekend.

Quiet place, good sake but a tad expensive. Otherwise I quite enjoyed the food.

the set lunch was reasonable in pricing and was of good taste and quality. the restaurant atmosphere was great in front of the river side.

came here because it was near my place. Dashi broth flavorful, not the msg type where after you eat you need to drink water. Great service

Went on 14th May 2022 and shocked that the menu reduced drastically due to sushi chef quitting. Prices went up and quantity went down. Afraid this is the last time I’ll go to Dashi Master. Such a waste. They were so spot on previously with their lunch menu. Now I won’t even consider going again.

Amazing sukiyaki - very authentic and tastes almost as good as Japan’s.

Gave us a bad seat initially and tried to bluff us that the other seats in the front were requested, obviously the waitress was lying, it wasn’t. Not too pleased with the staff’s attitude.

Amount of udon is terrible always so small an amount

Great Dashi stock! Definitely worth a visit. The chicken is good as well.

New dishes have been launched, for instant, the marinated wakasagi fish dishes is pretty good, wroth trying!
