Has always enjoy the dining experience at the restaurant. Love the appetisers and coffee
very cosy restaurant. prefer the previous chef menu. svc was decent
Great food great ambience. Food is delicious and well plated. Staff is patient and attentive as well. Tried the Saint Jacques and Char Grilled Iberico Pork.
Good food. Good service. Portion is decent. A little disappointed that they didn't provide a tiny cake for birthday celebration because most restuarants the same price range do.
Service and ambience was good. service staff were diligent in delivering. Food was good, priced reasonably well. Overall I would head back to Bistro Du Vin again for the 2/3 - course set lunch menu.
food is amazing. so is service. will come back there again. the only thing to improve on was for the junior staff to look surer of what they are doing.
Must try their organic lamb rack and foei gras! Duck leg confit a lil too salty for me . Overall the service provided was excellent.
Very good food and great service. the menu and the day selection have plenty of choice. a very good selection of wine even if they are pricey
The staff were friendly and gave good recommendations on food. They were also not pushy and explained the specials thoroughly to us when asked. Overall an enjoyable experience.
Both food and service was good. We had a good time there. The service staff is very considerate and sensitive. They also provide good recommendation for choice of food and wine to go along with.
Friday night dinner. Excellent attentive and friendly service staff. The food was great tasting and authentic. Bustling and lively atmosphere. Good wine selection, with carafes available.
Our starter was messed up and my husbands steak knife was delivered when he was into his 5th bite. The fish stew I ordered had a very nice broth but the shellfish was tough and the prawns were overcooked and the fish was bland. Don’t think we will be back anytime soon
Bistro du vin: One of our regular places in town. Nice ambience with good food served. Reasonable prices for what they're serving. Overall, the experience was good.
Nice food and service... fall in love with there serving bread...
This is the first time I dine here, it is a good experience. The service is excellent and the recommendation is good. Ordered the duck confit and beef steak, both are good. The French soup is indeed their specialty. In addition, the ambience of the place is cozy and friendly. Will return again.
We had a large table and still had great service and food. It was a busy day and the kitchen was slightly slower than usual but the pisitive attitude if the staff made up for the wait.
Service was good but the standard of food has dropped. The duck confit is quite salty and the pan seared scallops not as good as before
The service was good. I chose the $33++ 3 course set lunch set. The appetizer was salmon with herbs Main course was turkey breast with mushrooms Dessert was Pear Tart Food was good too
The butter is good again! We hadn't visited for a while when they switched to a tasteless one. Ordered veal shank and a special, the seasoned iberico pork cutlet. Both were good. However the raclette gratin had all of the cheese run to the base, making the layered potato stick together, making the layering pointless. This happened to both portions we ordered. And personally we felt the plating of both mains looked really bare, it was neither the casual dishing where the food is closely plated together, nor a real fancy arrangement where each item was properly demarcated. Ultimately the meal was decent but almost unremarkable. Service was however very attentive from our dedicated server.
Foie gras with truffle : the truffle has no particular flavour. Farm turkey : I did not like it. My partner had a steak with fries: the steak was overcooked and the fries were not very good. Several time we used to come to Bistro du Vin, this time was disappointing.
Great food. Great ambience. Great service. Is how I would sum up my visit to Bistro Du Vin and I’m definitely going back for more. The service at the restaurant is excellent. Something really rare to see now a days. The staff were friendly and professional. The food was amazing. We had the beef cheeks and the duck confit for our mains and it was out of this world good. Escargots for starters, which was just average. Desserts we had their specialty soufflé, texture was soft and fluffy, however the alcohol in it was too strong for our liking. Nevertheless a great dish. Overall I feel they got a well balanced recipe for a great dining experience which would make you incline to go back for more.
Went to Bistro Du Vin during valentine's day. It's a wonderful french restaurant with good food and ambiance. Ordered the Lamb Shank and Steak with Fries and a Bottle of Wine, slightly expensive. We paid $200 in total. Really enjoyed both dishes and may come back again in the future.
The side dishes like potato gratin, mushroom and baked potatoes in the duck confit were not excellent in texture and taste. They fet overcooked and not fresh. However service and the rest of the main course were amazing.
The environment was classy and comfortable. It evokes a nostalgic feeling. The food was ok. The lobster bisque tastes somewhat like the fish stew. Could be the same base?
Cosy ambiance and delicious food! Service was great and great selection of wines.
Amazing dining experience! Friendly staff and delicious food! The environment was cosy and comfortable.
Service was good. Asked for the sole to be filleted and it was not. Would not go for the dish recommended by the Chef - too much gravy on the chicken and the presentation of the chicken - with chicken wings - is not what we expected.
Love the ambience of the place, service is great. Food service was prompt and food is good. Went on a Saturday for lunch and it's not packed and noisy so I'm loving it.
The food was very good and decent portions. Highlight of the lunch was the excellent service by the staff who were attentive and ultra friendly. Will definitely go again.
Decent French restaurant. Quite reasonable price. Good location. Awesome service. Had Foie Gras, Beef Cheek (tender though salty), Roasted chicken, Onion Soup, Chocolate Mousse. Overall recommend
Brought my buddy to Bistro Du Vin for her bday celebration. Chef came to wish my friend happy birthday at the end of our meal. What a surprise! Great service.
Best French Bistro in Singapore. Simple menu focused on quality rather than offering a wide range. There’s also daily specials that are also carefully curated. Staff are attentive and helpful. One of my regular favourites.
Food and ambience was awesome like u are in a french bistrot in Paris. Had the beef cheeks and Dover sole, all I can say is both were equally well executed but very very impressed with the Dover sole! Kudos to the chef. He went ard asking how the food was and i couldn’t stop telling him how awesome it was to finally taste the Dover sole after seeing it on a movie.
Food was good, and the service was premium. Show'ed up 10 minutes before reso and wouldnt seat us - which I found a little frustrating.
Super friendly service staff that makes you feel at home immediately when you enter the restaurant. Food was fabulous especially the beef cheeks. Will come again
Overall we enjoyed our meal at Bistro Du Vin. We had the weekend 3 course set lunches and the food and service was very good.
I really enjoyed the braised beef cheek and the ambience. The lunch sets are great value for money. The portions are quite substantial. I couldn’t finish my entire meal and had to pack the remaining to go.
Another nice dinner to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Will always remember to suggest this place to my friends. Good food and nice place to be at.
The service was very slow. Three diners on next table got their main course served before us although they came later. We had to chase for our main course twice. My guest as a result of the delay, left without the coffee which was left unconsumed. I ordered a dessert but was told it was not available because a big table had wiped them out. Yet the folks in this table came after us. I was earlier told that i can order my dessert after my meal. For the price of the food and the service, as well as the ambiance, i am not getting value for money and feel dissatisfied.
The Lunch was so delicious and very comfortable to stay with my friend . I want to have a dinner with my family next time.
We have a group dinner for 20 pax during June 2017 in your sister restaurant La Strada. Everything was perfect. Too bad they are closed for renovation and will re-open in March. Alternatively, we have choose Bistro Du Vin. While the ambience is nice, the food quality is below expectation.
The food was hearty and great. Much thought and details were put in each dish. The rillettes and terrines were awesome. Ambience was good & had a homestyle feel.
Another good dining experience. Always busy whenever I go. Good food and good service.
Taken lunch in Bistro Du Vin. Experienced good french food. Service was excellent as well. Will recommend to others and will definitely come back again.
Special order of steak tartare which they gladly accommodated to, and called me to confirm. Great service, great food. Would definitely be back to this wonderful place!
excellent steak and bouillabaise. Lunch fixed price menu was excellent value and quality. Will definitely come back. Desserts also superb. Go, You won't be disappointed!
A cosy and friendly restaurant in Shaw Centre, Orchard. Waiters were very friendly. They have daily specials for both mains and entres. Had an enjoyable time there.
The team is happy with the food, and convenient location. However, it can get a bit too loud when the restaurant gets too full due to the restaurant set up.
Great Service and Food. Excellent experience leaving us wowed through the evening. I would recommend this place for a romantic dinner matched with fine wine.
Great selection of lovely French dishes supported by great staff service & superb French wine. A lovely dining experience. An authentic French bistro set in a side street in Singapore.Thank you
