Visit their another outlet more often as that outlet’s service is always attentive. Seems like the staff over there is more than this outlet? Maybe management should allocate staff better. This outlet, though easy to get the staff’s attention however they aren’t proactive. Cups were empty for more than 10mins and we have to call them. Lastly when I was settling the bill, throughout the time when I was checking the items, the staff did not mention about the ntuc ongoing promotion, I must admit I play a part too for not noticing it, but would appreciate such reminders from the cashier in the future, like how other outlets are doing. Wasted $20 for this.

I used to be a Hai di lao lover, but once I found U pin, i have been a convert ever since. Food is generally 20-30% cheaper but the quality of the food is the same.

Is definitely a cheaper version of HDL. But their service can improve much better.

Nice place with smaller portions good for variety and money saving while not compromising on flavor. The only shortfall is the lack of hotpot frame ventilator ( if we take Haidilao as industry-standard)

Very good food. Tomato and mala soup bases are good. Clear soup was good but it has lots of MSG in it. Will definitely come again. Highly recommended!

Upin is very similar to hai di lao, but much cheaper. For reference, a twin soup base is $18 at HDL but $14 at Upin. Staff is attentive, and food is fresh. However, due to limited space, the wait is long (minimum of an hour).

Food is fresh ! Service was good too... not to mention the environment is clean and quiet ... unlike other noisy steamboat rest. :) will go back again :)

The food was in big portions so it'll be better for larger groups of diners. Service is excellent! I would reccomend the tomato soup and the black chicken soup base!

Booked a table of 4 last Sun during lunchtime. There wasn't many people in the resturant at that time. Food was fresh, but service could be improved. It took some time for them to attend to us, fruits were finished but was not replenished. For hygience wise, it would be good if their staff wears a cap, especially when they are handling the noodle.

Excellent Service - Staff were very attentive, polite and prompt in service. Food - Very fresh. Especially the lamb eaten with tomatoes soup base. Superb ! Even my girl whose appetite is small also ate quite many pieces. Definitely worth going.

Delicious thick pork bone broth and tomato soup. Be careful wth the mala as it was still Super spicy despite ordering the milder version. It does taste pretty good tho.
