Nothing too bad nothing too good, an average visit but the plus point is the river view if you sit outside or the quietness on a weekday dinner time if you sit indoor.

Today's service is a bit slow. wait quite some time till some cold dishes were served on table. The time interval between servicing of the first and second grilled fish seemed quite long. need improvement

Nice food, variety of grilled fish, but I still like the signature spicy flavor and mushroom soup flavor. Side dishes like tofu skin and winter melon is a must

it surprised me that the restaurant was almost full. maybe it is lunch hour? maybe it is near office area? i really can not appreciate the food.. and the service.. we booked one seat here but we made a call to add 2 more seats. Maybe I just had lunch a few days ago at Sichuan Douhua, I really didnt enjoy the food in Tong Fu Ju. First, it was salty, very salty, although we told them to be less salty, less oily. Obviously, it was no use. haha... We saw an old man, maybe the owner's father, used his fingers to move some cooked vegetables from the edge of the plates to the center when he delivered the dish to the table next next to ours. My friend opened her eyes and mouth for a few seconds, who was really shocked... the fried buns, if you know how to cook, were very dry and overcooked, the spicy chicken has less meat but more bones, anyway, i think only the cucumber cold dish was ok. Sorry to say so but I dont think I would go again.

Going with my friend to celebrate her birthday. Tried the Hot & spicy grilled live fish & it tastes good. Their staff is helpful & polite.

Great place for Mala. We have the spicy chicken and, patin spicy fish. The service staff was friendly as well. Reasonable price, however even the small spicy was too spicy for us..

Went for their ala carte buffet. Service is friendly and food is served fast, Hits n missed. Like the intestine drypot. The sour veg fish is also very yummy! Food tends to be spicy and salty though.

Food was ok. Although when we asked to have some serviettes, the owner then said once we use that, we’re not able to return the wet towels. Probably becos im using a voucher that’s why...

You should totally try their signature dish, Chongqing Qian Pin Grilled fish. Great for fish-lovers! They do serve other fish related dishes such as hot& spicy grilled fish, soy sauce grilled fish, pickled pepper grilled fish etc. to name a few. Located at 50 boat quay, shophouses area.

The sour veg w chilli grilled fish is delicious. Service is fast n friendly. The rest of the dishes are hit n misses. The better ones are pork trotters, big intestines. The braised duck is lousy as the duck is tough.

Not bad... just that the food might have msg... which cause discomfort... suggest to use less of it if they are really using it, this will be good for all

V value for money... only $18.80 per pax for buffet 麻辣鱼very nice. Buffet or order separately both very good. Need to pay extra if buffet and sit near clarke river

Great food, quick service. Ordered the mala flavour less spicy, and the soup tastes really good. Also tried the mala crayfish which was super tasty! Value for money

return visit with Groupon which made it really value for money. Preferred the hot and spicy flavour, black bean flavour was too salty for our liking.

some dishes food portion very litter even through we order the large size as per their recommendation. The duck soup is not so nice. overall amount paid not really worth the value of food.

the signature grilled fish is good. Some of the sides are good too, eg. Fu qi fei pian and pork cold dish and etc. Will definitely recommend my friend to try.

The grilled fish was pretty good, but it's not that big as I thought it would be. I'll give it another try of other flavours next time.

I enjoyed the mala grilled fish, the place looks clean and the staffs were nice and helpful. We bought fave coupons and were not entitled to member promo. Maybe that should change.
