The variety was better than I remembered from my past visits a few years back. I love the sukiyaki and pork bone soup. Kimuchi soup was alittle too salty.

The service was satisfactory and efficient, the food was good and just as consistent as ever. It helps that there is a new flavoured soup base every now and then, it adds to the suspense and mystery of what flavours might be next.

Limited items and variety on buffet counter, the seats are also less spacious, compared to its other outlet. Staff not attentive enough, need to the "hunt" for staff for soup and meat refills.

Unethical business practices. They charge for free flow drinks that are not part of the buffet cost without first asking if we want them. Too warm in the restaurant. Overall,not a great dining experience.

It has a 80min buffet limit which is just a bit short of a leisure dinner. Furthermore, the service is not as fast so you need to plan your order of their meats ahead of time so as not to waste your 80min limit.

The place was warm. There were 6 of us and we were given long table. Imagine the one sitting along aisle getting up whenever those in the center needs to get out to get food. Ac is not strong enough, we were perspiring as we ate. Imagine hotpot under the sun... We were billed for 8 pax when there were only 6 of us. Soup for sukiyaki is super salty.... Insane...no way am i going back.

Good quality of food. Can improve on variety and service. The waiter was not rude but not as friendly as I would have liked. Good to have dessert too, such as sundae or ice cream.

No issue with the reservation: Quick and simple. The issue is that there are several hidden charges which was not stated in the voucher I used. For example there was "holiday eve" charge (where Valentine's Day was also a "holiday"), drinks and premium meat charges. Quite disappointed with all the hidden charges. The food was decent, but there are quite limited variety. There was also a limited variety of sauces. The mala sauce was spicy enough, but the chili flakes are too big and kept getting stucked in my teeth and throat. Should grind them further to make it finer.

Lacking of fresh seafood like prawn, fish slices, cuttlefish etc. Other than that, We have good experience and enjoy ourselves very much. Will recommend to friends and colleagues.

Food was so so.. Why every dinners must topup $1++ for the drink even when only one of us wanted the drink. Strange rule.. Dun quite understand the logic beside this.

It was a pleasant experience as the food and beverages provided were rather decent and suited my particular tastes in food. However, the only saddening downside was that the menu was terribly limited. This sorrowful fact brought about tears to my eyes and I cried for days

Was alright. But cause we have a 25% discount with safra else for the price i would prefer to crystal jade buffet. The selection isnt alot and mostly are processed balls and a few kind of vege. They dont serve water as well.

So-so place and not recommended. Many rules for the ocbc promo and staff don't tell you all at once. My baby spilled her milk and staff don't help.

This outlet has a good Ambiance and spacious outlet recommended for family gathering. After finishing your meal you can take a stroll down the Kallang River.
