R Italian Kitchen & Smokehouse

There wasnt a crowd when we were there yet. So its a little quite as we were the only few customers for the night just right before dinner time around 7pm. Good area to have social gathering. The food was mediocre for my testing in comparison to the price we’ve paid in my opinion. Not sure whether its not dinner time or preparation is still ongoing but serving customer could be a point of improvement I would say. As we had to call and raise hands a couple of times to get any of the server’s attention. Overall experiences in terms of food would be 7/10. Ambience would be 8.5/10

The food and atmosphere were good. Parking was tough around the area.

Order squid ink seafood risotto. Although it dye my teeth black, it was worth it as it was delicious.

went for a lunch. food was yummy and would love to go back. however, server didn't mention different size options of an appetiser when we ordered, but assumed we wanted the large portion. ended up with so much leftover we had to bring back and obviously some upsetness for having to spend more when unnecessary. Parking is also abit of a nightmare in the area

The food was great and the portions generous. Service was very good, attentive but not intrusive. It was a rainy day so not too many customers or finding a parking lot might have been more challenging.

Service was spotty, albeit decent service recovery by Hazel with comped desserts. Lamb rack had to be sent back to the kitchen twice as it overcooked the first time and under the second. Overall overpriced, not good value and not commensurate with food quality offered.
