Word of advice> the (indoor seating) noise level is NEVER disperse due to the structure. There was a group next table that was talking so loud we couldn't even hear ourselves. So, don't opt for indoor seating if you wanna have a decent conversation. Food was nice but my group still preferred Uncle Leong crab dishes. The drinks were way overpriced = a dampener to the whole experience.

Excellent lunch for 4. We each had crab, all were sensational. Perfect friendly service with a smile. Would definitely recommend Mamma Kongs for outstanding crab.

Absolutely delicious - and allow time to choose the modestly-priced de-shelling option which they offer, if you're not skilled at harvesting crab meat! Mike M

The food was decent and the ambience is good! Prices a tad high for the dishes offered. Overall a decent experience and a good place for seafood if u can’t find any in the area

My friend and I had a great meal at Momma Kong's. We ordered a chilli crab (with fried mantou of course) and a small bee hoon soup. They were super yummy! We were amazed that the dishes still tasted good even when they were cooled down. The only down size was those home-brewed drinks were too sweet for us. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!

The crab as not delicious as expected, staff Are lazy to change the table trash. Only one toilet so long queue if you drink too much

Best crab ever! We loved the ambience, and excellent service received. The photo was a great touch. Would have love a steam bun as a snack on our way out. Love from South Africa!

My 2nd time here. The luncheon meat crisp and bee hoon crabs are good. Judt wished there's more bee hoon. The walls could have been cleaner, think there's splatter of sauce on them, should do maintenance cleaning.

Friendly staff and excellent food , as always. I went there with a group of people that came from abroad and they really enjoyed Singaporean crab!

Crab Bee hoon soup and Chili crab both are very good. Luncheon meat crisps is supremely delicious. Good service and nice place for friend gathering.

second time to the restaurant, very good and fast service! and we have tried new food. Crabs was a bit smaller than before, but well, last time was 2014 so... I am sure we will be back again!

Fantastic food and reasonably priced. Staff very helpful. Best chili crab and pepper crab. They also do a good set menu, for two, S$130 includes crab, crayfish, squid, greens, buns (the best) and dessert including purple yam ice cream! Much nicer than it sounds. Next time in Singapore we’ll be back......

Food was great, albeit slightly pricey. Always happy to pay for good food and service though. I would certainly recommend to friends and family to experience.

Great place, amazing food including their chillie crab! Must try the steamed buns too! Easy location to find and great staff. Highly recommend as you know what you are paying for!

Pretty crowded for a weekday night, but overall the food was great and the crabs were awesome. Tried the black pepper variant, and will come back again.

The chili crab was delicious! Tasty and chilly, as it should be. The salty fish fried rice was very small in portion and was so so. Sambal prawns was ok.

The service of staff and the ambience of this restaurant is very much lacking. Staff were not attentive as too busy on their mobile phones. The chilli crab experience for me was good as I was very much looking forward to it from Sydney. I believe there are other restaurants which is better than Momma Kongs.

Chilli crab was nice. But stingray does not taste fresh, rather rubbery. Do not like the part about taking pictures for the photowall. Also, it's not nice to place the bill on customer table when they did not request for it. It's not even crowded, think you can allow customer to sit longer right?

Food is nice, love the crab bee hoon soup. Great place to hang out for a meal with friends and family. Suggest to make a reservation to sit indoors.

Third time back at MK. Still love the black pepper crab there, but this time it was a bit thin and not too meaty. The luncheon crisps are a must try.

Great service and food. The ambience is very nice too. I recommend the butter crab & Cereal crayfish. The price is little higher than other restaurant but quality excellent. Food is delicious and services quickly.

Food was great but service was a bit lacking. We had to ask for a lot of things that were just standard like table water or a drinks menu - also had to probe with questions as some things weren't so clear, e.g. portion size

Went there for lunch. The restaurant's service and ambiance was good. The menu was interesting and delicious. It was a unique experience and will highly recommend the restaurant. Although it can get rather hot and glaring with the sun shining above.

Not quite as good as we expected given all the high Ratings on this site - we had Pepper Crab and although the crab was sweet, the sauce was luke warm, limited depth of taste, thick and not enough of it. The Mantou buns came too late, when we had almost finished the (insufficient) sauce. The squid and veges all OK.

Casual setting. Helpful waiters. Serving portion is small but enough for two people. Overall dining experience matching what they charge. It would be better to book a table if indoor dining is preferred.

Ordered 2 types Of crabs, chilli and black pepper. Crabs are fresh! Chilli crab sauce is nice. However, black pepper crab is not as what I expected. A bit dry. Overall experience 👍 !!!

Waiters did not serve water upon customers sat down. Even after 30 min. . Area is small. Portion meant to be two but not enough even for small eater. Beside that all are good

Chilli crab sauce mediocre. Just Not the usual taste I would expect from this local dish . Cereal crayfish tasteless and over grilled. Crab claws were not properly cracked and the plastic crab crackers were totally useless. Asked the service staff for assistance and he was , well ... nonchalant.

The place to go to eat Singapore red chilli crab with mantou. It’s authentic, it’s noisy, it’s tasty, it’s perfect. In addition, the price is reasonable.

Delicious crabs at reasonable price! I love coming here with friends and overseas visitors. Never failed to impress them. My favorite dish has got to be the crab bee hoon soup. Depending on how much you eat, I usually find ordering 2 crab dishes with maybe one or two side dishes are enough for 3 people. Will definitely come back for more.

It was excellent and our favourite was the Chilli Crabs which got a 10 out of 10 from us. Plus the man tou (fried & steam dumpling) was very delicious especially dipping into the sauces of the chilli crabs!!!!
