Great wine, good food, good ambiance and good service, overall we are very happy with Merchants Wine Cellar. We were there to celebrate friend's birthday, is an idea place!

Love the place. Good food and wine. Great place to chill with friends. Central location makes it convenient to get to. Strongly recommended for gatherings.

The meals were delivered quickly and the wine has very little mark up, so is very reasonable. The staff were able to let us taste any wine that was open which helped us make a good choice.

Good wine, good food and friendly service as always. Would be great if the aircon was a bit stronger as the place got slightly warm as it got more crowded.

Had after-work drinks. Nice ambience. Casual place. Great wine selection, bites and excellent service. They also organize fun meet-up's which I can't wait to join.

They have great wines at affordable prices. Food is of good quality too. I especially love the Duck Rillette! Nice and quiet on a Sunday evening

The food was amazing, the wine was delicious, music & ambiance were perfect. The service was also hands down, above average! Easily my favorite place to hang out after work.

Had a great night out at Merchant. We ordered 3 bottles of red, mixed platter and a tiramisu. Pretty good service and great ambience! Will definitely come back.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and the reasonably priced wines. The cheese platter was a delight. On the downside we felt that the service was a bit slow at times which needs to be improved but I would return.

Great place, good wine and good service. Good for a quiet setting and chat with friends, recommended for wine lovers due to their huge selection of wines. Primarily, Aussie & NZ wines are sold, South African wines would be good :)

Food was very ordinary - the special meal did not not look like the photo in the email.. Music was good - place was empty.

staffs, foods and wine are awesome ! My fave dishes are garlic prawn,rib eye steak and cheese platter. All about to perfect, just only there is 1 toilet and Q is pretty long sometimes.

Great little gem in Duxton. Enjoy the brunch and the dinner. Picking out our bottle of sparkling wine is a plus and a great price.

It has a great atmosphere and the selection of wine is superb! The staff are well versed with the wines and great recommendations were provided. Service is superb.

Appreciated the attentive service, good wine selection from Australia and New Zealand - and the platters of cold cut complement them nicely. A definite must try for wine lovers

Had lunch with a colleague. Great service and nice accommodating staff. We ordered a little more than what 2 people would eat and they joined another table for us.

Had a lovely sparkling Shiraz there paired with a delectable lamb shank. Love this cosy, unpretentious place which offers great wine. What made it even better was the personable and delightful service from all the staff there that night (25 Jan 2016). Thank you guys!

It is really a beautiful place. I love the ambience, the staff working there, the food and the wines! They don't have much food options which is actually good!

Food served were scrumptious, high-quality service was provided, strategic location whereby customer can easily find the place, suggestions given on wine were clear and detailed.

The service was attentive despite staff having to handle a full house on a Friday night. Food and wines were very affordable and of good restaurant quality. We had a wonderful time there and will definitely be back.

A fabulous discovery in Duxton Hill. Very reasonably priced wines and a range of good snack foods and meals. We had afternoon drinks then a cheese platter of New Zealand cheeses and some delicious duck rillette. The place filled up with after-work drinkers. We'll be back for sure!
