The food was very good and authentic, had the noodles it was very good, the Babi Komplit special. Previously had the rice dishes and ala carte alittle lacking compared to the noodles, noodles were go, have gone back 5 times since. Thanks Kota 88

Love the strong drinks and the design- authentic yet mixed in with somewhat “city/Singapore” disposition. However, the area also manages to kick in and reflect a more laid back, relaxing and wholesome drag defeatism - similar to the whole of East Coast/Katong area in Singapore.

We were there for valentine's celebration and a good friday break. It was a good time to be around, not too crowded, and the food is good. The only thing is that it is a bit pricey. Nevertheless once in a while, i am ok to indulge.

There are bird noise during dinner time. This spoil the nice ambience. As we are sitting near to the door area, there are no aircon (I'm not sure it is their usual practise not on aircon). Would appreciate if the waitress can highlight to us about the seating when we want to change our seat near to the door area.

It was my first time at Kota88! Overall the experience was relaxing and truly asian. Key highlights: - Efficient, prompt yet chilled out staff - Good quantity of food (soups): it was me and my husband dining and we were to order two bowls of soup, but we were promptly advised to go for only one. rightly so, it would have been more than enough for 3 people. - Dish to try: Ayam goreng banking (fried chicken with tangy sauce) and Asparagus crab meat soup. - reasonable on pocket.
