Chin Huat Live Seafood

Lobster bee Hoon is superb. The Sri Lankan crabs are tasty but not very meaty. On the whole it's a good meal. We enjoyed the dessert.

The staffs keep on reminding our time limit. Making all of us felt so rush in having meals there. The chili crab was too sweet to our liking.

Food was really good, golden sauce crab was fresh and sauce was on point though very heavy. But service was bad - reserved days in advance but still had shit table seating. Asked to move but their response was that other tables were reserved (half were empty). Took a long time to order, then at the end of the meal, we were hurried to leave (even though, still, half the tables were empty).

Qualify of food was extremely high. Food portion servings were generous. The restaurant can get a bit noisy at times but that is due to the customers and not the restaurant itself. Offers both indoor and outdoor seating although making a reservation is highly recommended even on weekdays.

Good recommendation by the lady who served us. Ordered the beehoon crab and told us it is enough for 2. Never oversell you. Will definitely patronize again.

Friendly staff, they also manage to show us how big (how many kgs) the Sri Lanka crab. The only bad thing is environment too noisy (our table indoor).

The service and food was good. Ate the bamboo clams and Sri lankan crab. Seafood was very fresh. Coconut dessert (jelly with ice cream) is a nice touch to end the meal

Nice prawns, crab and lobster. Worth the high price paid for, whole family enjoyed. Waiting time can be long for seafood preparation but good food is not fast food.

It is the first time for my friend to come to Chin Huat Live Seafood restaurant. Fresh bamboo cram & delicious Augus beef. Needless to say, the chili crab is above the standard & different from other restaurants.. The coconut dessert is unforgettable. All these brought an amazing dinner to my friend!

We are regular customers and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food and prices are reasonable. Service is also friendly and servers are always on hand to help with advice on ordering. The dishes are also served very promptly. We never have to wait long.

Food is great, especially the crabs. Serving is generous even if you order small, it is enough for 6 persons if they are not big eaters. However, they take a little long to take our order. The service staff are friendly and helpful.

Good food but very pricey!! Improvement needed for restaurant washing area and toilet. Towesl needed for drying wet hands to prevent water dripping on the floor.

Reasonable price and good quality. We had great time in Singapore due to Chin Huat seafood!!! The pepper crabs were really great and the staff are nice and helpful.

The food was excellent when paired with the wines we brought. One of the reasons why I would always go back to Chin Huat - its BYO policy with no corkage charge. Order the pepper fried squid if you have champagne, steamed crab if you have a white and beef with black bean sauce if you have a red. The dessert menu could be changed or expanded though. The coconut dessert is over-rated.

Good food, breezy outdoors, friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed the snow crab. The pumpkin salted egg gravy went well with the crab. Highly recommended

Excellent seafood restaurant tucked away in an HDB. One of the best restaurants we've tried on the west side of the island (just off Clementi Rd). The seafood quality is exceptional and the price is very reasonable. We particularly liked the crab with golden sauce, and the bamboo clams.

Good food and friendly staff. If one likes seafood this is a place to go. As it is close to home, easy to go there

I reserved a table but was a few minutes late ... and the table was given up! Nevertheless, I was immediately assigned another so all is good. The food taste great, service was great so we will be back again.

The food tasted awesome. We had Chilli crab, Pepper crab, Fried rice, Crispy roasted chicken, Chicken in 3 sauce, Cereal prawns, Teochew steamed Soon hock and Brocolli. Everything was finger licking gd. Staffs were very friendly n excellent svc.

Warm service, food came quickly. And most of all good food at reasonable price. Will come another time for the yummy crabs and other food.

The seafood is very very nice. Ordered golden sauce prawn, salted egg crab, giant groupa fillet with xo sauce and vegie with assorted egg. However the vegie dish isn't that nice. Will try other vegie dish and definitely coming back again.

Food is good but price is on the steep side. The fried Kway Teow is unique but pleasant. The seafood food is fresh and well cooked. Dessert coconut ice cream pudding is great.

Seating indoor is pretty bad. Small area with 3 big aircon units at really low temperatures. Food all turned cold in less than 5 mins.

Friendly Staffs, nice environment as we dined indoor with air-conditioner. We love the coconut pudding with ice cream the most, overall the experience dining at Chin Huat Live Seafood was good.

1. Waiter and waitresses were arguing and shouting at each other. Even the chef who came out was having a loud disagreement with the waitress. 2. Bill was shoved to us while we were still eating. (Spoonful of dessert was held up to our mouths when yhe waitress did that) A more couteous way would be to ask us if we are ready for the bill.) 3. Bill was presented before all the items ordered with delivered. We have dined at the restaurant at countless times amd this would be a mar on your service which I am sure can be remedied.

Arrive early for my booking. Was ask to wait but the staff is helpful to and friendly to bring me a chair to sit while waiting . Nice food served

Food is good, though waiting time to be seated is not short considering we have made reservation. The environment is good, clean. I would go back for the food!

Food tasted really good! however, I had expected more out of the service provided. it was difficult to get our order taken because only a few staff could take orders. Staffs appeared overwhelmed by the dinner crowd.

Dinner for a party of 8 ... we had Sri Lankan crabs in 2 ways ... chillie and the golden color thingy. EXCELLENT crabs. Other dishes we had include spinach with eggs in superior broth, roast chicken, bamboo clam, fried rice and tons of coconut pudding dessert. Excellent food. Service is ok though a tad slow at times.

The golden sauce crab is excellent. The Dou Miao was different from the previous dinner that I had 3 weeks ago. I preferred the thicker Dou Miao.

Food is very tasty, esp the Boston lobster bee hoon n black pepper beef. Service staff attentive. Will revisit again and recommend Chin Huat to others for sure.

Staffs are friendly and helpful . Food was delicious, especially the black pepper crabs and bamboo clams. The durian pudding is also a must try.
