Excellent pigeon, scampi pasta, uni pasta and pistachio dessert... actually everything is excellent. Restaurant arranged surprise for a celebration - very thoughtful. Great service.

Super recommend - food quality is just outstanding. But just note that the menu constantly changes so it may help to email the restaurant ahead of time to find out their current menu and if the selection sits with you! :)

A perfect full experience for our anniversary and my birthday. The food was amazing, they were able to cater flawlessly for my Gluten Free hubby in the degustation. The staff were amazing in providing just the right amount of attention to us whilst also letting us enjoy a rare relaxed evening together. When a group that had book got a bit roudy and impacted on the atmosphere, they acted straight away moving us without us even saying anything. Can’t fault a thing. Will hopefully be back! The food here is great as is the service. The place is a little small though and feels cramped. Pricing is on the steep side though. Love the freshly baked bread.

Had a chance to check out this intimate 1 Michelin star restaurant housed in a quaint shophouse along the riverfront due to a special curated menu released for Gastromonth. The set menu was a succinct and excellent way to showcase their signature dishes. We started with the amuse bouche of a trio of vegetables presented in different ways, not to my palate but a refreshing spin on how they incorporated different textures and cooking styles for each of the vegetable presented. The bread served was flown in all the way from Italy daily and had an excellent crust with an airy yet chewy interior (if only they served seconds) We moved on to our entrees of hand dived scallops served with a smoked yolk and boy was the smoked yolk a perfect complement, imparting a smoky mouthfeel to the fresh and plump scallops. The soy based sauce at the base of the scallops was great in providing some flavour to the otherwise clean tasting scallops. The prawn tagliolini was served next, with the sicilian prawn served tartare style, a harmony of sweet and briny flavours coated the prawns and along with the tagliolini tossed in a concentrated prawn bisque was easily the best dish of the meal. Thereafter came the beef tenderloin, executed to a great medium rare but nothing exceptional to shout about although pairing it with a walnut puree was innovative. Desserts were round up with a serving of chocolate cake dotted with caramel mousse and a side of bay leaf gelato. A very unique spin since bay leaves are mostly used in soups. A complimentary petit four was served with a white chocolate cup holding some spiced apples and a separate wafer replicating a pear tart. Overall an excellent dining experience showcasing some unique Italian ingredients and style of cooking. The open air kitchen was a lovely space and allowed us to see how our food was prepared as well.

Fantastic on the main courses. Wagyu was cook to perfection with the fats melting in your mouth. The lamb was tender and juicy as well.
