Beautiful interior and the food was rich and flavoursome. Service was impeccable, Thankyou!
Authentic, pleasing décor and nice music. Food (duck, beef) was much too salty. The duck was dry and stringy instead of being tender. The snails were tasty but minuscule. The sides on the plate were very meagre - only 2 half asparagus and a tiny square of potato, and no greens with the beef. The staff really need training, they committed several nono’s for French dining - they asked for our dessert order at the start (with the mains order), they cleared one person’s dish while the other person was still eating, they reached OVER us WHILE we were eating appetizers to lay down cutlery for mains (!), the food server had no idea which person had ordered what dish so we had to tell him, and dishes were brought too fast after the previous course. The list of dishes on the menu is very authentic, but the service and food taste/portions left a lot to be desired.
Still one of my fave places in Singapore for a good casual meal. Good quality food and great service always.
We have eaten at the bistro countless number of times by now. Each experience never fail to please our palate, which is why we return consistently and shall continue to do so. Bon travail Bistro Du Vin.
consistent quality, never fails to delight, great atmosphere and service.
Dishes, service all of them was perfect. Thank you wholr team.
Been there many times… Good quality food at reasonable prices… Can recommend
Friendly and warm ambience. Good food and the service was very good.
We enjoyed the lunch v much. The food was great.
Duck confit was too salty. Clean toilet and prompt service
Good place owned by French guy and who is managing things there by himself.
Good service. Overall food quality is good. Only disappointment was the duck confit which i find too salty for me. Not worth the additional $10
The Host was very engaging and friendly. The food was ready very quickly. The menu was good & there were daily specials. Decent wines by the glass at affordable prices. I would highly recommend visiting.
Another stop at BdV Had the terrine de foie gras, absolute recommendation as they introduced the spring menu earlier this week, i tried the new version of confit; i preferred the old one with the orange sauce All in all, still good quality food
it was a great dining experience. the food was great and service was great too.
Grabbing the opportunity to visit BDV while in Singapore :) Change of plan today: tried the terrine de foie gras, which is absolutely delicious and properly sized. Followed by sauteed veal: loved the veal, the pilaf rice needed some taste, rather boring.
Food was good, had snails (definitely one of better ones in Singapore) and thereafter the unavoidable confit de canard :)
Love the foie gras. Cooked perfectly. Seafood stew was delicious.
Food menu can be improved with more choices. Price is quite reasonable.
easy book with app. great food and atmosphere. will come back again.
Food was ok, used to be better. Good wine collection.
Very nice, my guest loved the steak nice nice nice
Food was good - service was average - we ordered a side dish which was never delivered
first time for me. restaurant has a nice ambience, feels like a bistro in paris! it was my dad'd 82nd birthday and i mentioned that under 'remarks' in Quandoo when i made the reservation. was hoping for a positive experience that a small slice of cake to mark this momentous event would be nice because it means alot to elderly people but alas...your staff said you guys do not give out complimentary birthday slice...not even a slice... ok.... as i rated you quite remarkably well (as you can see), it's unlikely i will return. food for thought, when you try to save pennies and lose out on future biz...
Great frog legs and beef cheeks! Recommended for a nice evening at a typical French bistro
It was a wonderful experience thanks to Coco who remembered us from La Strada. She generously offered two glasses of champagne upon our arrival, and we enjoyed that evening very much. Since we relocated to Bangkok, at the end of 2022, we didn't have the opportunity to dine at Bistro Du Vin anymore and it was so nice and classy of Coco to make us feel very welcome and look after us very well.
Such friendly staff and delicious food. I liked the provincial feel.
Non pretentious French for great for a chill date. Would definitely come again.
Farewell meal for a friend. Duck Confit and wine is a must.
Quaint little cafe that transports me to France. Duck Confit and wine is a must.
Fabulous Christmas Eve meal for the family. The caroling was a very pleaaant surprise. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously.
Always book this place for birthday celebration for friends. Duck Confit and wine is a must.
A good place for their lunch set with great food.
Will come back again. Had watercress soup, seafood stew and souffle. Must say, we've been a little adventurous with watercress soup. It's bitter. Seafood stew is great. It's just that I'm not a fan of black cod. Souffle is wonderful. Generous amount of liqour makes it really fragrant.
Visited with husband for personal celebration of a sort. Enjoyed food and ambience alot.
Good value set lunches but only on weekdays. Busy and small place , reservations necessary.
Great food and atmosphere. Good service from staff. Good standards
Food is not fresh, heated up. Service is just terrible!
Fabulous food and getting to hear the wonderful Alemay Fernandez sing - what an amazing evening!
a simple meal after a movie. It hit the spot with what we ordered
The acoustic was poor. Made the place rather noisy and loud
Warm and cosy atmosphere, but rather noisy. Food was very good, especially the classic French dishes. Service was attentive and pleasant. 👍
Ok not too bad i was busy enjoying my time with my pal
Less choice as usual and smaller portions but tasty and best mousse of chocolate
Thank you for the great service and the amazing food! Thanks also for the candles touch on my wife dessert for her birthday. Great service as well from all!
A cosy place for lunch. We made reservation as this place is packed on weekend. We had 2 sets of 3 course menu. The French onion soup was thick and melted cheese to chew. Foie gras was well fried and had a good bite with the condiments. The lemon sole was pan fried to perfection at the edges and well flavoured with the rich butter. It was however quite saltish to my liking. The pork loin was surprisingly tender and had a flavourful sauce with capers. The mashed potato was very smooth, very good The cream brûlée was served in a shallow dish. The burnt sugar was too much for the brûlée, resulting in the dessert been too sweet. The chocolate mousse was thicker and very chocolaty. Love it! The staff were attentive and friendly. Would be back to try other dishes on the menu
Great evening but I have been to Bistro du Vin for a very long time and they have increased price a lot up to a level where it feels not right - this is much more expensive than other French brasseries in Singapore - this should be reviewed - it makes me hesitant to go back again!
We love the food and everything is fine. Will try again for sure
Nice to be back to a restaurant after a couple of years and find that the quality of food remains the same. Enjoyed my dinner catch up with my friend.
Very friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious - foie gras; onion soup, duck confit.
