My group had a very satisfactory experience We made an on the spot booking for another dinner later in Dec 20. The only blemish was the rather pushy staff who tried to push us a bottle of wine we did not request for Also some uncalled for gratuitous remarks from the same staff.

Service was good. Upon request they made the lamb chop 5 pieces (instead of 3) since our group is of 5 pax... It will be good if the waiters can someone advise us on whether we have ordered too much in future (as we did this time since we were not familiar with the portion)..

A very helpful steward who took our orders assisted us with deciding on dishes and quantities. Two of our friends were vegetarians, and he made several suggestions about what the Bakalaki kitchen could put together as main courses for them. Portions were large. Altogether a relaxed meal with great food and a friendly ambience. Oh, and the yummy dessert, was on the house with the chef’s compliments. We hadn’t even asked about the chef. A thoughtful gesture which added to a very pleasant afternoon.

We were a group of 4 and were ushered in and seated as soon as we go to the restaurant. We placed an order for dolmades, mousakka and the meat platter. The dolmades tasted fresh and herby and the tzatziki sauce served along with it complemented it very well. The meat platter although meant for 2 was a generous serving and we struggled to finish it. All the meat was well seasoned and we enjoyed the dish thoroughly. The mousakka was my least favourite as I would’ve liked it to have more tomatoes in the sauce. The baklava was filled with nuts and sweet honey syrup, nestled between flaky and crispy layers of filo pastry and each mouthful tasted exquisite. It was the perfect ending to a meal. My husband enjoyed the Greek coffee and the management served us some sweet wine on the house. Truly enjoyed the meal and will definitely return sometime soon.

The food is so good! Not so used to Greek coffee taste and recommend order regular coffee instead.

The food was above expectations as the Pita bread was served warm and paired well with the dip we ordered. The serving size of all the dishes were also satisfactory for the price that we paid. Overall we were very happy with the meal!

It was unexpectedly busy for a Tuesday evening, however the wait staff were no less responsive / attentive (and slightly more efficient than friendly, however this wasn't a deal-breaker at all). Food portions were generous, and the starters and moussaka we had were great and well worth the price. We were given a complimentary dessert at the end which was a nice touch on their part - it was overall an extremely pleasant dining experience, and the interior of the restaurant was absolutely stunning.
