back here again after 3 days! this time with my family and they loved it

food was yummy!! but portions were kinda small. service staff were friendly, but would have been nicer if they weren’t so rushed in clearing our plates

great wine list; mediocre food; bread was pedestrian; cinghiale was in a very acidic tomato sauce; pizza was strangely done margarita with fresh basil scorched, but mozzarella di bufala and cherry tomatoes put on pizza after taken out of oven so cold.

Food was great. Used the entertainer app for 1-for-1 pasta/pizza. Surprised to find that GST & service charge were charged for the complimentary pasta and pizza.

Great food and service! Had a pasta and the calzone. The chocolate lava cake was nice also and it was interesting to watch as the staff light it up giving the cake a crispy outer crust after that. Staff was very friendly and the ambience was good as well.

Quality Italian food. Great service. Wood fired pizzas are highly recommended. Good selection of wines too. Definitely a hidden gem and would visit again in the near future.

Meat dishes were great though pastas were a bit lacking. But the desserts more than make up for it. All in all, a pleasant dining experience!

We had seafood soup, pizza, sea bass pasta and tiramisu, each course was good. I seldom eat/see fresh fish, olive oil-based pasta around (although I've had it before, actually in the same restaurant), so was glad it was on the specials, it was delicious.

Nice, small italian place in a pretty good location on Bukit Timah Road. Food was decent, wine was also decent. Not the most authentic stuff but acceptable overall.

We used entertainer app which has 1-for-1 promo so the price was worth it for the food. Portion wise was decent and filling.

Fabulous food, but not so great service. Felt like we were second class customers just because we said we weren't having any wine for the night - the waiter's smile immediately disappeared. We were quite a big party of 8, and shared a few starters/ dessert + had a main each. The starters came together, but the mains all came one by one. By the time the last main arrived almost everyone else had finished eating. When we queries about the last tardy main, the waiter merely shrugged his shoulders and said we're running a full house, the kitchen is busy (despite the back of his restaurant being completely empty). Another waiter later told us the 1st waiter forgot to post the order and apologised for it. Honesty would've been nice in this case, and the waiter who lied seemed like he was the one in charge of the place. Way to go in setting service standards.

Calamari is best so far, vongole is yum, beef pizza, sirloin steak good for sharing. Their signature tiramisu taste amazing. Lovexthe restaurant because it's very family friendly

Al Borgo is our favorite Italian Restaurant in Singapore: for the Essentials as well as for the daily menu, which always has something exciting an new on it. This time it's 'only' a 5 though, since the Bolognese sauce seemed to be a bit thinner than usual. The rest of the food was great as always.

Ambience good for casual dining with friends or family. Good food, great service! Angel hair pasta - really happy they had that on the menu and was available! Glad they could do pizza without cheese and it was not dry! Desserts were VERY VERY delicious... yumz!

First visit here. Authentic food & cozy environment. Delicious wood fired oven pizzas. Perfect for family outings or romantic dates. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

The food is good as usual. Minused 1 point as they gave me the wrong risotto, but they were really nice about it, apologised and gave me a nice drink.

Foods r excellent , staffs r attentive ,services not bad . however environment not so cosy , can improve . We certainly will come back n recommends to fenzs .

I've been to many Italian restaurants all around the island and no one can do pasta like Al Borgo, highly recommended! The portions are a good size and the flavour so spot on. I will definitely be back

Pizza with Pancetta and cheese was great but the mushroom soup was average and rather diluted. Will return to try other varieties, like pastas and steak.

The food is good, service is excellent, I brought my own fruits for dessert and the restaurant took alot of trouble to cut and arrange the fruits nicely - very impressive. I will certainly visit the restaurant again and will recommend to my friends to visit.

We made a reservation online and were seated promptly after arriving. I had their homemade lasagna, it was served hot so that's great. I loved the cheesiness in the dish, it was sufficiently rich and not overpowering for me. The pasta was too soggy for my liking though, wouldve preferred it to be more firm. The ambience was enjoyable.

Authentic Italian - great experience. i recommend the pizza's, think and crispy just like the real thing. Pasta was fresh and waters engaging. we'll be back

Good food , nice and quiet environment. Good service and people are extremely nice and friendly. I have a very good time with the family will definitely come back again

the paper wrapped seafood pasta was awesome - generous serving of prawns, mussels and squid were fresh and sauce was delicious service was prompt and staff were polite

Lovely, lovely restaurant. The staff are so friendly and understand all about the menu. The food is fantastic! It is our favourite Italian in Singapore and so convenient to get to, a short walk from Stvens MRT.

2nd visit to the restaurant as it was a friend's birthday... shared 2 starters (must try calamari) and shared a pasta and pizza. The food was yummy and birthday boy was happy! Aircon was a bit cold, so food must be eaten fast but overall still happy with the place! Thumbs up!

Excellent and prompt service with an easy casual atmosphere. Very delicious and hearty food portions. Good comprehensive selection of various Italian dishes. I highly recommend this place.

Great food and service as always! One of the best Italian restaurants we have been to in Singapore, and its just round the corner from where we live!!

We were a party of 8, and had a great time. We're given a well thought corner for privacy and the servers were very helpful and prompt despite being fully booked. I liked their food, and I liked their pizza and pasta especially.

As usual: From my perspective the best Italian Restaurant in Singapore. Daily specials are always a treat as well as the "All Time Classics". You cannot go wrong with either of them!

Excellent service and great food. Loved the selection of vegetarian dishes, and the way they could adapt other dishes for us. Will definitely go back!

Food was excellent, with good presentation. Service was prompt and attentive and location could not be better. I would certainly return again and unreservedly recommend it. My family thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the ambience.

Al Borgo is our favorite Italian Restaurant in Singapore! We are there on a regular basis - not only because the simple dishes are as excellent as the more refined ones - but also since we were very soon welcomed like family!

Fuss free experience with Quandoo and al Borgo for the delicious dinner. Ordered pasta and was a "wow". Will revisit or bring more friends to try on the pizzas!

Service is attentive and excellent, chefs are friendly. Food quality has come down a notch versus what it used to be last year. Still fresh ingredients but overall not as tasty

There were seven of us who went to the restaurant on the Father's Day and it was crowded. The service was poor and the food was comm si comm sa.

Dependable good wholesome fare. Always recommended. The T Bone steak was very nicely done and the kids loved their pasta. Service was efficient and not obtrusive.

As usual, fantastic pizza. We have a family tradition of pizza on Fridays, but we really need to venture out to try their other delicious menu items. Highly recommend.

The seafood spaghetti wrapped in paper and the bistecca Florentina are must-tries! Great place for families and intimate dinners, excellent service, food is great and at good value too.

Authentic, high class Italian food. Had the charcoal grilled sirloin and the Ossobuco. Both fantastic. Furthermore they were able to work with a hefty allergy list. We will be back!

Great food, cosy environment! We loved the rib eye steak and bismarck pizza. Restaurant fills up really fast, so do make a reservation or be disappointed :)

Great service, freshest ingredients and superb ambience... Excellent for family meal or a romantic meal with loved one.. The daily pick sea bream was fresh, and the seafood risotto was tangy with plenty of prawns, scallops etc.

Grilled halibut was superb and so was the tiramisu! Of course the pizza is always perfect!

V nice food and wine recommended by the chef! Like the calamari, salad and pizza..super fresh and tasty! Worth trying and definitely will go back again..😊
