Food was pretty good. We had the fish pot with mala and herbal soup and there was a whole groupa given. The service could be better though because they missed out quite a few items that we ordered and we had to remind them on the missing items more than half hour later.

VERDICT: 2/5 Would not go again. FOOD: 3/5 A bit cheaper than most other hotpot places, but that should be a given based on the restaurant’s location. I ordered the dual hotpot (tomato soup and herbal soup), and pretty standard hotpot fare - most of the meat dishes, prawn paste, balls. None of these were made inhouse, unlike other chains, so literally everything I had today could be bought pre-packaged from the NTUC a minute’s walk away. Nothing tasted BAD, so its passable. Good/Value for money: + beef shortrib + prawn paste + mushroom and veggie platter + fresh noodle Okay/Mid: = pork collar = fish (seabass) = spinach = enoki mushrooms = herbal soup base = prepackaged items (meatballs, cheese tofu) Avoid: - sauce bar (additional charge + not much variety) - tomato soup base (watery, barely flavorful even when we were done cooking) - whatever free dessert they offer at the end of the meal In short, I could have had the same food experience (or better) at 1/2 ~ 1/3 the price in the comfort of my own home, especially given the location SERVICE: 1/5 Oh lordy. - waited half an hour for the soup base to be prepared - all the ingredients arrived before the soup, so the raw items were exposed to air (uncovered) for a good while - drinks only arrived after the soup - ‘special’ milk tea is literally tehpeng for 2x the price, i couldnt taste a different between that, the restaurant’s normal milk tea (50c cheaper), and the tehpeng from the 3 kopitiams outside the restaurant - was offered free dessert (3 portions of dessert or 2 portions of noodles) and waited another half hour for it to arrive, AFTER the cooking had already stopped - 1hr of meal matched to 1h of eating is not okay

The food was good! Had double flavoured pot soup choosing herbal and Chinese cabbage (spicy) flavours. Ala carte drinks without free flow choice. Condiments is charged $2.5 but it comes with dessert (the day we went was white fungus and watermelon). Dessert paoluda was quite nice to try. Thought the pricing will ended up being very expensive but it turns out to be affordable. It will be good if we are able to see the total bill via online before payment (as we were not able to until payment at cashier). Overall, will go again!

They were facing system issue so there was slight delay with our food. But the staffs are still very friendly and apologetic to customers. They even provide free dessert due to the long wait.

We had ordered the grouper hotpot (non spicy) which was surprisingly good. There was a good amount of fish in the soup. We ordered sides like beef short ribs, pork collar and vegetables. Overall, food served was fresh. Soup was topped up regularly at no extra charge. Sauce counter though small but has sufficient condiments. Good ambience for small groups.

Price point was slightly high. But it is a pleasant environment and place to dine at. The food is nice as well.
