Vineyard at HortPark

The food was delicious and wonderful. The ambiance is great and we enjoyed the nice bottle of wine. I will definitely return again. Making another reservation soon.

Place was beautiful and ambience was great. Service was a little slow though and it seems that they were a little shorthanded. Will definitely go ahead.

We dined at the Vineyard after a visit to the excellent HortPark. We ordered the Full Breakfast Club, which was abysmal. It comprised sausages, bacon, eggs on ciabatta, truffle fries, mushrooms and salad - food that we could have prepared ourselves at home. Probably we should visit again and try something else on the menu. The staff service was very friendly and attentive, though, and the ambience was very nice. Best part has to be the restaurant's bouncy castle which is a big hit with the kids.

Service was pleasant and consistent throughout, lovely ambience too away from the maddening crowds. As for the food, generally reasonable but our main dish (chicken) could have benefitted from a longer time in the pan as we could still see pink despite the nicely crisp exterior.

Nice good service,overall ambience was clean, nice and cosy. The service staffs were attentive. It is worth another visit. One definitely feels at home and comfortable.

Love the beautiful surrounding and easy parking. Food is good and I love the wonderful vineyard salad! Nice & quiet place for lunch and dinner.

Cozy ambience in the evening, food was good and service staff were friendly though they need to be trained more on the house wines and the wine list in general, which was quite comprehensive and at good prices. The sound system there was pretty bad though. We had the pork rack and the beef cheek which were both well plated and delicious.

Food is good. Service by Joanna is excellent. She is warm and friendly and attentive to customers. A nice place to relax, dine and entertain.

Main courses taste good and portions were big. We had the peach melba which was too 'ger-lat' (rich) for us. Service was average except for one staff Joanne who was good. She was friendly, always smiling. We ordered a glass of wine. The staff forgot to serve it until we reminded Joanne almost halfway through our meal. She served the wine immediately and to our surprise, due to their mistake, it was on the house. They have a bouncy castle on weekend brunch. Will be going back with kids

The food was slightly above average. A must-try: lemon lava cake! Service provided was great but unfortunately the steak ran out and we have to settle for something else for the set meal. Was rather surprise as the reservation page shows that restaurant is fully booked that night but the food was not sufficient to serve the patrons. And upon reaching earlier than the appointed time, we expected restaurant to be fully booked as per advise through phone and Internet reservation page BUT it was less than half full. What a let down.

It's a very nice restaurant. The ambience is perfect and the food is great! I love the sirloin steak and try presentation of all the dishes! Well done!

*Used a Groupon voucher for this visit. Pros: Went a little later than my reserved timeslot (830PM) and was promptly seated. The appetizer came quite quickly, which was great! Food was pretty decent - I enjoyed my roast chicken a lot even if it was a tinge too salty. My boyfriend ordered the sirloin steak, which was seared well. Cons: Was offered sparkling water without being notified of its extra costs, and could not retract our decision because they've "already opened the bottle". I found that very sneaky and unpleasant. Main course took a while to come out, only finished the whole meal at about 930PM. The food portions were a little small, but maybe that's how fine dining works.

Great place and food. Overall service is great. Great place for catch up and gathering. Not recommend for just food and go as the waiting time for serving took time.

The ambience stood out. Service staff was attentive to our needs. Dishes were well presented. It is a good place for a romantic night out as you can take a stroll after dinner. The park is open till 10pm.

Nice-looking and cozy restaurant just off Alexandra Road in the middle of a garden oasis. Food was great, my wife had the French onion soup and sirloin while I had the pan-roasted free range chicken and salad. We also ordered a Margherita pizza which was bigger than we expected and tasted great. The manager came by to ask how the food was and all the staff were polite and helpful.

The service was exceptional. Despite having a voucher for a meal for dinner, they still served us the food even though it was only lunch time. It is lovely place, definitely a 6 for the service and if I could give a 10 for their meals, it would be it. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

I went using Groupon voucher. The food was 3/5 but service by the staff was poor 1/5 - unfriendly (maybe because we are groupon customer) and unattentive (very mechanical and robotic way of serving). As a Groupon customer, although we don't pay the full price for the meal, the restaurant could have been more pro-active to upsell. For example, Groupon voucher comes with appetiser and main course. The only upsale was to ask if we would like Still or Sparkling water. After the main course what could have been done or improve the service was to ask if we would like to have coffee/tea or any deserts. The ambience is nice and cosy but I will not return because of the poor service and the food is average which I can get similar taste from restaurants such as Poulet, Jack's Place, Aston. My impression of Vineyard based on its website and the actual ambience was very close to fine dining and quiet - diners were talking very loudly like Jack's Place.

Nice ambience. Mushroom soup and pastas were tasty and a decent portion for the price. The staff were pleasant and polite. Waiting time for food was inconsistent though. Some dishes was served soon but the other main courses only arrived much later so we had to wait awhile in between. For desserts, the Lemon lava cake was a nice surprise and went well with the vanilla ice cream, but the souffle was abit disappointing. It did not rise, was soggy at the base and salty on the top. The coffee ice cream that went with the souffle had an intense coffee liquor flavour that was nice.

The pricing is pretty expensive and the portion is quite little, however the food quality is really good. The ambience is really comfortable and the staffs were friendly. Presentation of the food is relatively good.

The quality of the food is consistent. However due to the lack of service staff, the service level was not satisfactory. I guess might be due to the Groupon offer , hence it's a bit crowded. The restaurant should consider having a few more waiters/waitresses to improve the overall dining experience.

Service was good. However, Food was average for the price paid. A case of easy forgotten experience which one may not remember of wanting to return for more.

Great dining; a cosy dinner Far from the Madding Crowd..haha except we are the noisy ones there, especially after one or two Lychee Martinis. Will want to go back and try their lunch special as well.

the food and ambience is nice :) service is good too :) the staffs there are polite. when they run out of certain dishes they would come to us, inform and make up with another dish :)

Decent food and nice ambience. It is a good place for romantic dates. However, service is slow and could be improved to create a good experience for customers.

Good atmosphere and the service. Food not bad but not really impress us. Suggest couple to request for the outside table for more privacy and quiet.

Went there for brunch. Restaurant seemed under staffed although you can see the staff working hard to serve everyone. Waitress didn't ask how I'd like my steak done and it was served medium rare. Food was lukewarm like it had been sitting out for awhile.

We like the ambience but the food was just okay with that price after the discount, it will be good if it comes with a cup of coffee as a set. By the way we still pay for a cup of coffee to make it complete. The music background is too loud for us. Overall 60% over 100%. Thank you

We made a reservation for birthday celebration, the staff was nice and friendly and even joined to sing the happy birthday song together with us.! Good experience!

Nice environment, decent food and a still reasonable but staff on shift inexperienced and short handed. Heard service on other shifts were better. Portions on the small side

Service have improved since our last visit in April. The $88 Prime rib is great for 2 pax ($88) and so is the Brie fondue. We’ve also got to spend the $30 voucher (for every $100 spent), which translate into a 30% discount :)

Nice place to visit if you want to have dinner at a quiet place. Food are also delicious. Definitely will visit again to try other of their dishes.

Was quite busy being mothers day. Made a reservation on line but confirmation was slow. Food was good from brunch menu and mothers day special, Tried to order from A la carte menu but was told these meals were not available but I did see some meals go out ( our table was beside kitchen door) that were not on the brunch or mothers day menu.? Staff could pay a little bit more attention to top up water, clearing plates and take note if one of our brunch menu items ( steak and eggs) had not been served. Needed to ask 3 times for this meal. Generally meals were good but service needs a bit of attention. Nice setting and will return to try dinner menu.

The wine and dessert that we wanted was not available. And the prime rib is just so so. What's more, there did not seem to have enough staff to serve the clients, we need to repeat our order and pour the water by ourselves ....

This was the second time that we visited vineyard and the food did not disappoont us. Service was excellent as well. We had an enjoyable experience.

Service staff was attentive and served with a smile. When feedback was given on the food, they offered to change it immediately without any argument.

Food was horrible. It had very limited choice. Ambience was good but the accesibility to this place is not great unless you are driving. But worth the try.

Should add an outdoor or indoor reservation section so as to avoid any conflict or or misunderstanding. We hope this option can be added due to the nature of the restaurant.

Fine dining.. expect your food to be serve slowly. Food is not bad but potion is just small. After the dinner of 3 course meal, iam still hungry. Not suitable for me.

The set menu was a good deal. My friends and I thought the food was delicious! Service was a little inattentive: we had to ask several times for our water glasses to be topped up. Aircon could be colder.

The service was bad and slow. We were there at 12pm, and waited till 1.30pm, the food was still not served. Had to cancel the order and left without eating

Food was good but the service was slow and not very attentive even though it was not that busy. It took an age to order and the food all came at different times. I would urge the owner to get this under control - this was the second time I have been - the first time the service was also very slow.
