Love the beef but the food are on a pricey side.
Nice food , the staff is friendly, location is accessible
had a decent meal there with great vibe. will come again next time
Love their soft shell crab with the sauce. Pork udon and oden is nice too.
came here because i saw it on burpple, but the food was quite nice and long waiting time for a friday night...and i was seated in doors and it was totally smokey - would not recommend sitting indoors.
We were there early and due to staff shortage, they did not allow us to sit by the river. Nevertheless, the food was pretty delicious although on a pricey side.
came to this restaurant for the 1st time and in love with it
Good Experience for myself and partner. Kudos to the staffs.
authentic and fresh Japanese seafood selection! Wide variety to select from menu. Enjoyed our dinner very much and will certainly tryurn soon
I'm back here for the bara chirashi don, which is by far the best I've come across in Singapore as no other bara chirashi don comes with uni, unagi and beef.
It was a quiet weekday lunch crowd. Food was delicious.
really nice ambience indoors before drinks for a date :) would want to eat outside too when it's night time!
Food was fresh and awesome, nice ambience, not too loud.
Had their chirashi bowl and the fish was fresh. Filling enough for one person. Good value when there’s a promo. If not it might be a little on the pricey side. Restaurant was empty when I went there at 2pm.

It was really fun! The sushi was soo good. I wish I would’ve worn pants or shorts instead of a dress so I can dine as per the true japanese culture
Bought the chirashi don for $15 via Shopback. Value for money. This is the best chirashi don I ever had. Highly recommended!
Food was not bad, but love the table atmosphere and setting
Nice dining place to catch up with friends with their yummy food.
Food was great and price was reasonable. Staff was friendly too.
Has been there few times. Like the atmosphere and the food.
Nice food but they are unable to cope with the request for grill food. Order were stopped several times throughout dinner.
Nice izakaya with a good location. Convenient to get to.
Oyster is fresh, overall glfood is great and excellent service. Thumbs up
Creative selection of japanese izakaya favourites, perfect for sharing with good company.
It was a lovely place for a farewell gathering between good friends.
Such good food that I came back consecutively for 2 days
The food was so so, drinks really bad except draft beer that can't be wrong. The restaurant should focus more on getting the drinks right, it is right in Clarke Quay where people go for drinks. As for the food, other than the Salmon Sashimi which isn't the best I have eaten, the rest just really so so for the price that is not worth to pay. Oh, the oysters are under promotion but it was not juicy and not that great. Overall, the atmosphere there does bring you back to eating in Japan. Just that. I don't think I will be heading back again.
Service was fast and good. Location is good. Food was not too bad for some items but nothing was impressive. Most Yakitori items are priced at $5 per stick, this is on par with some high end Yakitori restaurants I had. However, the quality of the skewers are not on par despite the price similarities.
Good food and pleasant service. Drinks at 1 for 1 is a plus!
Food brings friends together and no better place than Tomo
Awesome Experience. it was fun exploring the Japanese food and the culture.
Need to go early as the staff are very busy when there are many customers.
One of the most recommended Japanese restaurants in Clarke quay
Amazing and exquisite Japanese fare at a lovely riverside location
Seems shortage of staff. the serving is very slow. waited more than 30mins for food to come.
it was great! food was delicious and service is great
Love the food at Tomo Izakaya. Great ambience as well and will definitely head back for a meal again. ☺️
An excellent place to chill for a nice weekend dinner. The food is delicious and the ambience perfect for an izakaya.
Promotion online was not valid after 7pm. This timing was not stated online. Very understaffed i guess as we could not get any staff attention to place food orders. Cocktails tasted watered down. After 40mins, we gave up and left as we still could not place a food order.
Excellent Japanese fare beside the Singapore River, it’s highly recommended
The foods, wine, environmental are worth for value and the staffs are friendly.
Very nice atmosphere and ambience, but food is not really value for money
The best ambience for a Jap restaurant by the river
Staff was very friendly, such a nice and spacious izakaya with many seats. Food was good, although the price was a little steep for the quality I feel
Food was excellent , fresh though serving size can be bigger. Service was prompt and warm. A nice place to chill over drinks and finger food.
Good food and ok service. In the heart of CQ
Service was great and food was good though slightly pricey. Overall good place for a group event.
Great place for a quiet lunch. Had a business meeting there
