The foods are fairly tasty. Service is good. Ambience is pretty good too. was being offered an enclosed room for 7 of us with minimum $200 of total bill.
Great food, esp the beef which was tender and it just melts in your mouth! Worth a trip down to Todamgol just for the beef
Great value for money. (Set lunch) The seats are a bit old. But the food is good. Eventhough set lunch is for 2. If you don't eat alot it can definitely feed three
Food and ambience was good. Staff service was very good and accommodating. 2 of my friends were first timers at Todamgol And they love everything there and had an enjoyable time.
Nice Authentic Korean Food . Service Staff is Attentive . Food is Tasty and Price is Resonable. Will Be Back To Try Other Chef Recommend Dish.
Good authentic Korean food & attentive staff. Dishes we tried: assorted pancake, army stew and boiled pigs feet. Service staff was attentive. Will definitely be back again!
I enjoyed the seafood pancake! The staff were friendly and fast with their service :) I would definitely go back and eat there again next time!
The food is great and tasty. Ambience is nice and comfortable. However, it seems that a bit short staffed. Service is a bit slow when called on.
very slow service, hard to get refills for banchan. nice broth for korean stew that is refillable for free. i went on a weekday dinner and it wasn't extremely crowded, but rather full.
Great service and really great food. Second time here and totally have zero regrets! I Will surely return, ready to try more dishes in the menu
Nice atmosphere with good portion of food. Was a little warm as we were seated near the door during hot afternoon lunch. Suggest to crank up the air con for lunch. Temperature was just nice when we came for dinner previously when seated at the same location
The service provided was good. Table was ready when we arrived. Food is great. but portion is a bit small for 3pax. Price is quite high too.
The food was served quickly after placing our order. The pancakes tasted good but the ginseng chicken soup was blant. The BBQ pork wasn't tasty. Price wise is considered expensive for such a food quality. Most important of all, the service is below average cause the staff serving us are unfriendly and also attended to us unreluctantly each time we made a request
We ordered the budae jjigae (their signature dish) and it was delicious. The soup had a strong kick to it and the stew became tastier as we got to the bottom. There were two of us but the entire bowl was massive and was enough for three people. They were generous with the luncheon meat (thick slabs) which is always welcome!
Place was not crowded on day of visit. Service and food were good. The table was just next to aircon blower so food turned cold quickly.
The food was great, and service was very prompt. The seafood pancake was the best we've had n the last couple years. Just that the price was a bit steep compared to other Korean restaurants.
The ambience was good and the staff were friendly. The food was much nicer than alot of other korean restaurants but wasnt that great/delicious. We ordered the soy sauce chicken and minced pork pancake.
Nice place for authentic Korean food. Make your reservations as they are always packed. We ordered the japchye budaejigae and sesame pancakes. Japchye and budaejigae is yummy but can't say for the sesame pancakes, tastes like normal omelette.
Bu dae ji Jae was not as good as hoped for from the reviews. Even adding 1 plate of kimchi did not make the taste very good. But pancake was nice thou.
Food is good, but sadly the service this time was quite poor. Waiters were not very attentive, they forgot our drink orders, and didn't cook the bugolgi for us, unlike the previous visit
Good place, food and service. Staff is friendly and food is served the moment we ordered. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended place to go
Me and my friends have always been coming back here for their authentic Korean food! Food is value for money as the portion is quite big, plus the free flow side dishes.
Food and service was good.Army stew was quite light. Would have preferred abit more meat but happy with it. Lucky we made the reservation else we would probably have had to wait!
Nice food! The beef was great but the tofu stew could be spicier. The service was good and prompt and overall it was a very authentic korea experience
Always great whenever I visit. Fantastic service. You must try the bossam and any of the pancakes. In fact, I quite like everything I've ever tried here except for the pre-grilled meats which were somewhat dry and tough.
Food is above average. Overall ambience is pretty cosy n comfortable highly recommended! Kimchi stew is a must order followed by leek pancake. Not the cheapest of all Korean restaurants.
Army stew is good. Side dishes can be replenish. Service from staff is good and prompt. Definitely a good choice for gathering and eatout. Go!
food servicing super fast. Need to tell them to hold on to the dish first. We stay from 7pm to 11pm, no interruption from them.
The kimchi pancake that we ordered was delicious. The bu dae jiggae seems a tad diluted than my previous experience with Todamgol. Hence a little disappointed.
really authentic Korean restaurant in terms of food, restaurant deco and service. Will recommend the bossam as it is really yummy. thought the cheese kimchi pancake tastes a bit weird but overall good food and experience
Was my first time eating at the restaurant. The food was authentic and great, really enjoyed myself. Been eating Korean food, this is one of the best I have eaten. The service crew was attentive and friendly! Will surely go again
Very nice army stew! Good for two to three people for sharing. The restaurant has a very authentic feel and there are a lot of korean customers too.
they serve good bbq beef and meat. I personally liked the kimchi soup - rich broth though it doesn't come with a lot of meat, though some might find that it is overpriced.
Awesome food and efficient service by the staff. It was easy to use the link to make our lunch reservation. Looking forward to our next visit.
Had lunch here. Starters were excellent and the overall food was pretty good as well. Service was prompt and staff were polite. Would so back if I am looking for Korean food.
The food taste authentic and staff are very friendly. The interior design and the ambiance of the restaurant is great. The overall service is good.
Service was prompt. Recommended food: Assorted pajeon (the mushroom one is so good) Budae Jiggage (tends to get a little salty towards the end) Bibimbap Wont recommend: Fried glass noodle
Awesome food. Good ambience. Banchan came in small dishes, but was refillable. Waiters were few but service was quick :) Really loved the different flavours of the pork belly:)
One of the best army stew eaten so far with overflowing ingredients. We order less spicy version. Quite Nice! Another recommended food was the pancake! Delicious!
Nice food but a bit pricy. Staffs are friendly. Not very flexible as we asked to remove pork items and replace chicken (bcos we have a Muslim friend with us) but not allowed as told all ingredients are pre packed :(
Food was good but a bit pricey. We had the army stew (recommended!) and it was more than enough for 2 people. The restaurant was cozy. Would go back again.
Todamgol is always a nice place to have some good old Korean cuisine. Always have a good experience. I ordered a duck dish that was on the board and it was pretty good. Not gourmet cuisine but it is more than adequate.
Very good mix of menu, Pleasant ambience and fresh food. However, portions are large hence best for groups. Lunch is affordable and worth going, dinner a tad ex!
another wonderful dining experience.. loved the bossam, seafood pancake, budae jjigae, naengmyeon and makgoelli. my friend had a wonderful birthday celebration. thank you very much!
The army stew was good, portions were really big and thus, it made the food rather affordable. The menu had a wide variety of choices as well.
The food is authentic and delicious. The pancake platter is definitely worth the try followed by the budaejijae. This visit we tried the rice wine which was recommended on the menu, which we felt was delicious.
price was a little steep, but portions were large. food was great! great place for dinner after work to unwind. love the bossam, kimchi jjigae & jumokbap.
