always enjoy the food there. casual fine dining. highly recommended.
Great food, service and ambience. I would return again soon!
Enjoyed the 3 course meal and wagyu dish a lot! Supposed to be a fine dining place so was a bit awkward with the dart machines at one side of the restaurant though.
The food was quite good however the last time we went there was only 1 waiter for everyone so it took a long time for everything. Friendly however just simply understaffed.
Good food, nice environment, keep it up. Hope to dine at the restaurant again soon
Service staffs were prompt. Went the extra mile to prepare a dessert for my anniversary.
Great ambience and service. Location was a little out of the way.
Restaurant is fine. Service was good but food serving was a little slow.
Enjoy the food & service crews are very kind & accommodating
food is still good although prefer their old shop at bukit pasoh
Good value for money fine dining place. Love the courses
Both food and service is good. I recommend their steak. Location is at Pomo which is not as accessible and surrounding can be rowdy, not really appropriate to have your first date.
Recommended for any special occasion, attentive service and good food!
great food and ambience. will be back. only parking is an issue
The food is fresh, and the tastes were light and clean. Each dish was artfully presented. The service was excellent. The decor is lovely. This would be a perfect place to take a date.
Dinner on weekday night. At 730pm we were the only diners. Ordered scallops for appetiser, had wagyu beef and confit salmon for mains. While the taste and cook of the food were okay, the portions were dismal. 3 scallops, each smaller than the frozen ones I buy from supermart. Wagyu beef: 5 thin slices with hardly any marbling. Does not come with any sides, unless you eat rocks. Confit salmon was probably an acceptable size if in a fine French restaurant. What left a real sour taste in my mouth was later seeing photos of other diners' meals in the past, with a much larger portion of wagyu. Say 8 pieces vs 5. Because I'm using the Amex promo, does that give the restaurant the right to give me a half portion? I read rave reviews previously but the experience is nothing short of shockingly disappointing. My bill before discount was about $140 for two pax. Will highly not recommend.
Food was impressive given the price and presentation was good. Service was great. Ambience simple and quiet. Only thing is wine list is a little small. Otherwise everything else was good. Would go again.
Nice ambience for a date night with awesome food. The service is great as well and we had a great time at the restaurant celebrating my friend's birthday.
Table was dirty, menu was old. Staff did not explain menu, noisy environment
Surprised to see the live singer as previously experiences were pretty pleasant without him. Understand that the Management is trying to attract a younger crowd but losing the original flavour can be very detrimental. #foodforthought
The food was average and sadly it did not meet my expectations. The staff was friendly and nice. Location was easy to find. Overall so so.
Service was prompt and generally efficient. Nice ambience and live singing was great! However, it would be perfect if the quality of the food is better.
Service was slow and cold. Food was Super small for ala-carte price. I can’t believe I only get a single piece of 2cm x 5cm crispy pork which taste more rubbery than crispy. The tuna tataki was bland and tasteless though the angel hair was better.
Disappointing service despite restaurant not fully seated. There were only 5 tables; 3 tables of 2 pax and 2 tables of 4 pax. I returned to The Clan after 2 awesome experiences at their previous venue in Bt Pasoh but this visit would be my last, sadly.
Food presentation and quality above par but a la crate portion very small for the price paid. Not so worth. Service was quick (due not many tables occupied for Friday evening) and prompt but lack personal touch
Good ambience and tasty food. Portion can be more generous though.
Had a private room. It’s a fine dining so expect it to be in small portion. 6course meal is $78++ which is the cheapest one that I found so far. They have a band but we couldn’t really enjoy it because we were in the private room. Their dessert “chocolate tart” is really good.
great service. staff are attentive. was there to celebrate my husband birthday and glad I made that choice.
Casual fine dining experience. Music a mite too loud that we need to strain to speak to each other. The light interactive atmosphere with the singers was alright. Food-wise, the selection should all be available rather than be told that some items are unavailable and the desserts are all replaced in the set dinner menu. Otherwise, the food is good.
Ambience was okay but service was bad. Not enough waiting staff and the band was terrible and nothing like a jazz dining concept. I think they need to review the service levels
Love the place. Boyfriend love the place I picked for our Valentine’s Day dinner.
Staff and service were awesome. They remembered that it was a celebration of my wife's bday. =) What was not so good was the food and the ambience of the restaurant. It just didn't feel like a fine dining restaurant but more of a club offering fine dining.
the set meal is very worth it. will come again
Very lousy service. Restaurant staff didn't bother to attend to customers waiting outside and walked into the restaurant. When we walked in, no one attend to us. Some staff continued to play darts in the restaurant. When asked about the menu, staff said set-dinner menu must order in advance, can only order from a la carte menu. Don't even direct us to where the menu is. We didn't expect such lousy service from a fine-dinning place.
Great fine-dining food at a very reasonable price. You get a 6-course dinner at only $78++ which is really hard to find elsewhere. In addition, they have engaged live band for every night that they are open, which adds to the experience. Been there several times and it was always a wonderful experience.
we had the 6-course degustation menu, food served decent, some items not available, which was disappointing. Despite having only 4 tables occupied, service was slow. The live singing made chatting a challenge.
The wait between each course could be shorter. The quality of the food are just so average. Good that they have a live band. O
The Clan is a very cosy place with very reasonable pricing for the food. There is a live band performance. It was good although many of us felt that it could be slightly softer and that will make the entire experience even better. On the whole it was a good experience! Recommended!
good environment .. nice food and music .. in general, was quite a good experience .. will recom my friends and family to here. d
It was a nice restaurant and the food was excellent. The 6-course dinner taste very good and presentation was good. Will recommend friends to dine there.
Excellent ambience and food taste good. Excellent Fine dining experience.
Nice ambience. Quiet and good place to have private dinner with your partner. Wide and spacious seats. The lighting provides the mood for a romantic dinner
Entry to the restaurant did not "indicate" there was any fine dining. Food is good, but not hot enough. Portion may not be enough for general diners, as I'm a small eater and it's just about nice for me and wife. Ambience so-so. Not sure if I would go back as it does not seem menu would ever be changed - seems pretty standard dinner dining menu. House-pour not available for a couple dining, but we can't handle a full bottle due to driving.
Very different from advertised restaurant. ‘jazz’ was more like karaoke, waitress was more interested in playing darts than serving us. Tiny portion sizes for the price charged, no iced water available - only $$ ‘carbon neutral’ imported Italian water. Cheap polyester napkins and old stainless steel cutlery - very far from the ‘fine dining’ that is advertised.
Valentine's Day Dinner menu was a hit with the both of us. Wasn't expecting a special menu but the quality of food was good none-the-less. Prices were pretty alright, with the couples' menu coming in at 148++. Missed the Wagyu on Hoba leaf this time, that's on my to-do list for my next visit!
Good atmosphere. The best dish we got there was the wagyu beef!
Our return visit was not up to expectations. Food was plain. Service was substandard. Orders took long to serve. Sea bass was cold when served. Intermitent music was too loud. Was so much better the previous time we came.
Food is abit too little. Not full at all. Would suggest it to give a bit more portion of food. The drinks are a bit suspicious because looks like re used bottle with distilled water refilled.
Portions are small. Don't bother with the ala carte menu unless you are really a very small eater. 5 or 6 course menu likely to be just nice for a normal eater. Table water is not FOC.
Nice place. I personally feel that if u are look for a quiet and comfortable area that is the place for you. Don't need to think
