Good ambience and decor . Friendly staff however food is very oilly specially the nan and lacha paratha . Bit disappointed with the food compare to other indian resturants
the food & service were good and delicious we were impressed with their Christmas tandoori turkey just a little pricey but we really enjoyed ourselves
We tried one of the tasting menus. It was a nice meal but we expected something really special which wasn't delivered. The flavour combinations of the starter were just too subtle and didn't really work. May be we should've gone a la carte.
Simply superb dinner. Probably the best Indian restaurant in Singapore. The Cod Tikka was out of this world and we ordered it two times. Even the vegetarian dishes was so nice and we finished every bit of them.
Great experience. Nice ambient, very good food, good service. Chef Mural is very elegantly playing with the Indian flavours and is getting the best out of them. I would highly recommend this restaurant to an Indian food lover.
Above average Indian food and service (for an Indian restaurant). Not sure if it's worth a Michelin star though! I'm sure the wine list helps with that
Disappointed as usually good experience. A/C was spoilt and was hot and muggy inside restaurant so we didnt feel like eating spicy curry, which we usually like. Waiter had to be looked for several times to order wine. There were small flies around the buffet area.
the best value for money Indian Buffet in Singapore. Great ambience and tasty food. I will definitely come back here to try their ala-carte menu.
The athmosphere and service was good. Some of the food was excellent (like the almond soup and salmon) and some we would state as average indian food (like the tandoori chicken we thought was nothing special).
The service and the environment is impeccable. The taste of the food has been reformed to cater the preferences of the Singeporean. Everything is within expectation except that the odor of the lamb is a little bit heavy. Overall its a good experience.
Food and service were great. I specially like the creativity of the chef in presenting new items that I have never had before. The ambiance is relaxed and royal at the same time
Excellent food, great service, thoughtful staff. It was my wife's birthday and once they got to know about it also arranged for a surprise cake. Also made me aware of a discount on my card.
The food was great, all the spices and flavours hit the spot. Chef was extremely nice and came out to greet every table to see how the experience was. Staff are nice. Good value for 1 Michelin star.
We went on a Saturday afternoon and had the buffet. Spread wasn't fantastic but for that price and place it is still reasonable. We enjoyed the food especially the fresh naan. Ambience and service was good.
Not a very large spread for the buffet but all dishes were good. Alu Tikki Chaat and tomato soup were a hit. Butter chicken was also nice. Strawberry mousse also.
The service was excellent. We all selected tasting menus. The food was unimaginative and uninspiring but well cooked and flavoured. The interiors look a bit dated and the lighting is too dim. I think we walked away thinking that this was a slightly better than average North Indian restaurant with an overpriced menu.
Food is ok, friendly staff except one. AC is too cold, but they provide shawl for the ladies.
Food was very good. However, the wait for the food was fairly long. The restaurant should consider measures to speed up the service so that customers are not kept waiting unnecessarily long for food, especially when they are hungry. Waiting should not exceed 20 minutes.
The buffet lunch for Saturday is of different menu. The kabanb is very salty. The dessert is sweet. The service is still very very good.
The taste is wonderful. if you go early, you will see the pretty setting of the food. wonderful colourful Indian food, feast for eyes as well.
good food and nice ambiance and also centrally located. Staff was courteous and very pleasent. But for most of the items, comparitively , its quite expensive.
A upmarket Indian restaurant that needs little introduction. Great ambience, elegant surroundings in a colonial bungalow and amazing food that keeps you returning. What more can you ask for?
Ambience was good. The buffet was average. Service could improve with drink and starters and soup could be offered on the table on arrival. The price was the buffet sounds attractive but the lunch experience can improved.
Beautiful restaurant and great food and service. We had a lovely evening. We would perhaps ask for an outdoor table next time as that looked lovely too.
Song of India is a pleasant experience, if you want a quiet peaceful Indian meal out. They have really delicious desserts, especially the Rasmalai is a must try.
Food is ok. Staff is reasonably friendly. Our table probably didn't have a good location because there was always someone passing by, making it very distracting to have a conversation - dampened the experience a bit.
Great Indian food in a very posh setting. The diversity of the menu is also very impressive and the staff is very warm and inviting.
