Food is ok. service not so good as we were seated at a table with blind spot... staff did not take more effort to serve us.
food and service was wonderful in the beginning. love the spicy beef soup and bibimbap but after the korean lady left and they did a revamp.. everything changed. for d worse. forgot orders. long waiting times.. whats worse.. the place is closed down. gone. so anyway my review is for the initial period.
The restaurant has a relaxed and comfortable ambiance, and the seats are nicely spaced. The food was excellent! The spicy dukbokki was also surprisingly good and flavourful. Staff service was also polite and friendly. Recommended!
Food was great. Service was good as well. Received two complementary starters from the chef while deciding our orders. They came as a good surprise.
Authentic korean food under pub set up. You will never expect that. Pung Kyung Korean Restaurant & Lounge service and food are consistent and good all th time. Nice work !
I have been to this restaurant for a couple of times. I notice that they have just add new items to the menu. ordered my usual Spicy Tofu Soup which as usual is fantastic. This time i also tried one of the new item, fried calamari. It was great!!! the meat was juicy and thick surprisingly was not tough. the batter was light and not oily. Service as usual was good as well.
I have been there with friends a couple of times now and I remain happy with the food, ambience and service. Will certainly be returning.
Full house during lunch time, service was slow as there was only 3 service staff.... Food was very good. Ordered the BBQ chicken - Very tasty goes well with rice, Spicy Tofu Soup - tasty but serving was small (enough for 1 only), Kimchi soup - tasty but serving was small (enough for 1 only), Seafood pancake - Very good outside crispy inside soft and was generous with seafood.
Service was very good. The kimchi is one of the best i have tasted (does not have the strong artificial sour taste). I have ordered the seafood tofu soup which was excellent. It arrived pipping hot.
The place is very small and most of the menus are not available. Chef was nice as he noted we had kids with us and suggested a few of our dishes to go without chili! So considerate!
The food was delicious and service was prompt. However, the restaurant ran out of beef and it was a pity as we wanted to try out their bulgogi stew.
We were the only 4 customers there on a Saturday night from 8.00 to 9.40pm. As we never came here before, we thought this dinner experience was going to fail. We ordered 5 items and to our pleasant surprise, the food actually tasted quite good. Even my picky wife rated the food here at 7.5 (which is very good already). The boss was also very nice and polite. Really wished that they had more customers.
Korean food was authentic and booking via Quandoo was flawless. The restaurant is actually nearer to Telok Ayer MRT than Raffles Place MRT, so I got a bit lost haha. The portion is quite good of a size. Spent about $23 per pax.
