Awesome food and customer service! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Singapore!
Lack of local staffs and they only allow foreign workers to keep plates & serve food
The food is tasted like it was already prepared in bulk before hand and just warmed for serving. So, there is a lack of the taste of "cook" but still good. And the table next to us is really loud so we left as it became quite impossible to have a proper conversation without having to raise our voice.
Good food, nice ambience, delicious dessert. Reasonably priced. Authentic peranakan feel.
buak keluak is ok; nangka veg (young jackfruit) is lousy; bo bo cha cha - coconut gravy quite salty, yam & sweet potato very little (hardly find them).. and overpriced at $5.. total spent $90 for 1 keropok, 2 longan drinks, 2 main, 2 dessert.. overall pricey .. food is so so, tasted better peranakan
The food was very wonderful and very tasty to eat.
A birthday celebration. Quiet and relax atmosphere. Will go again.
Good food, good service reasonable pricing , nice ambiance, clean
The prices have gone up a little. The food standard has dropped a bit. Overall still a good place to have family gatherings.
Overall I like this place and the food is good. Will be back again
Good food. Standard is well maintained. No disappointment. Satisfied tummy!
Food was good and value for money. The only drawback was you’d need a car to get to the club.
I was given a corner table, and I was quite pleased with the arrangement, and also the food was great. Every dish we ordered came to our expectation level. There's family "noise" but we enjoy it, as we came as a family as well.
Nice service with good recommendations of food! Bernice is really a nice and friendly manager. :)
The food tasted decent, but the dishes could be served at a warmer temperature.
A good place to have authentic Peranakan food after using the facilities at the clubhouse. It might be slightly inconvenient for people without car in terms of accessing the restaurant though. Take note!
we opt for the set lunch. food is good and value for money.
Food was pretty good and service staff were friendly as well. Loved the desserts!
A great place to bring a date or family or colleagues
We enjoyed the food... and service staff were very friendly too.
Nice! Not my first time dining there!! Excellent place for a cosy and quiet meal experience!
Great food. Good place for peramakan food for family gatherings
The food is good! Portion is just nice.. will go again
Authentic peranakan food. Tasty & portions were huge. Desserts were awesome. Attentive service staff.
I'm a regular at this restaurant and have been dining here for over 5 years. Food has always been consistently good.
The service is exceptional and the food always tastes great; this is why we keep coming back!
I have been here quite a number of occasion. Will keep coming here. Popular but enough space and time to enjoy a meal with friends and family.
Very family orientated restaurant. Good recommendations and service. Food was served fast.
They serve authentic Peramakan food. Service was fast even though it was quite packed. Quick service. The dishes were reasonably priced for the size of the serving
Very good quality well cooked food served in polite a and efficient manner. Actual restaurant was clean and well presented, but was over bright and lacked character. A restaurant well worth visiting but not for an intament dinner.
As expected, Peramakan Restaurant has maintained the high standard of Peranakan Cuisine. We loved the Ayam Buah Keluak and Assam Fish Nanas. With the execellent spread of dessert, we enjoyed the lunch.
Exquisite Peranakan cuisine. Flavorful, just like how Peranakans would like it. Enjoyed the buah Keluak, ngoh hiang, ladies finger, etc. the apom + pengat was also very delicious. Excellent customer service as well, staff was very attentive. Super recommended.
Food was very delicious and well prepared. It captures the variety of Thai flavours well and quite a few Thai families were dining as well. Recommended esp for groups.
Taste of foods not as great as before. Assam fish was too small. Chicken and Beef were nice. Inside Sago Guru Malaca, sago shaped were not so nice, because it wasn't soft.
Quick service & tasty food ! (Also very affordable) Definately always go here whenever I visit Singapore and craving for comfort food :) But don't come at exact lunch-time.
Food was mostly good. Ambience in restaurant was excellent, though getting thete was tricky. Was charged for achar which we did not have though - lesson : check bill!
Came to celebrate colleague’s farewell. Food was delicious and we had even enough to take away, even though we got the 10 pax set for 11 persons. Really appreciated the restaurants generosity in allowing us free choice of dessert !
Food was very good. Unanimously good. We ordered the fish head curry which was not on the menu together with beef, prawns, pork and chicken. Chap chye and tofu too. All good.
It was great I enjoyed the food very much. Service was good and quick. Toilet was out of order so that could be improved. Thanks
Fantastic and authentic peranakan food. Try the ayam kleo, ngoh hiang, sambal kang Kong and other peranakan mainstays. The durian penyet is a must try for dessert, so save some room!
The food was good and ambience was perfect for a gathering of four of us. We were recommended to order nonya tauhu which did not disappoint. However, I felt that the lemongrass tea was a bit too expensive at $4.50 and tasted very bland as the lemongrass flavour was not strong enough.
hi quandoo, found the app and used it yesterday. found it very great and easy tool to use. will recommend and use it more often! thank you!
I have been going to Peramakan for many years. On the whole, I enjoyed my dinner experience yesterday. While I have never been on the receiving end of poor service, it has improved. The Management I feel is always trying hard. Thank you. The Beef Rendang was not as lemak, well spiced, and braised long enough to bring out the flavour and the kerisik tasted strangely more of chillis than coconut. Sadly, I sat down to a table adorned with a torn table cloth. My overall impression is that the restaurant has seen better days and needs to be refreshed.
Tasty Peranakan food. Never fails. They having pork satay promotion for October. Very good. Must try. Only thing is carpark charges in Keppel Club is very expensive.
Love the food, especially the desserts. Enjoyed the ayam buah keluak the most out of all the dishes we ordered. Love the delicious black nuts in the dish!
Loved every dish we ordered. My favourite was the beef rendang. :) The portions were huge. We ordered an 8-person set meal for a party of 7 adults and 4 children and we had lots of remnants, which we tapao-ed.
Food was served very quickly and they were great! Prices are affordable. There were eight of us and the bill came up to be about $180. Will definitely visit again :)
Yummy and authentic. It was a satisfying meal. Good and prompt service and the staff friendly. Servings for the set dinner was generous. 8 pax meal can serve 10. Our party of seven had a lot of leftovers.
My go-to place for Peranakan food. Nice round tables w a lazy Susan so everyone can reach the food and have a good chat. Rendang beef is a must.
Competent peranakan restaurant, great lamb shank rendang, steamed otah, and nangka curry. Beats blue ginger anytime. Any local is doing our heritage a disservice by bringing foreign guests to Ivin's and passing that off as nonya food. Peranakan Flavours at Tan Quee Lan, Folklore at Beach Road, and Nya Nya Cafe at Suntec City Tower 4 near the GV Cinema are the places to go. Go to Violet Oon's place at the National Gallery if you prize ambience above all, and are willing to pay top dollar. Food is passable. I have no tried Candlenut. Happy eating! - Weiren Y 31st August 2018.
