Delicious food, worth the money. Location was good. Will make a return visit.
It was great! Food was good, highly recommend to eat here!
overall was good in terms of food, atmosphere and staff service.
Portions were small but more than enough for us. Service was great as well!
Pros: food is served hot and delicious, in a clean ambience. Generous portions too! Con: price is a little on the expensive side.
It is helpful to receive the menu in advance for pre-order. Still it's quite a long wait for the nani ambeng although this could be due to the lunch crowd. Overall, it is still a good place to hang out and have meals with friends.
My friends and i were there for a birthday lunch and we had a fine experience. Food is delicious and portion size was very well done. we managed to finish all our food which is rare for Nasi Ambeng. The place was cool enough on a hot day. Shop seems a bit short-handed though. i found dirt of the plates, hair stuck in my food and vegetable on my seat. Didn't realize till i stood up and leave. There was beansprout at my friend's seat as well. Even though with all these, we still enjoyed our visit and managed to chomp down all our food.
Everything was routine yet good. We came in, took our seats n waited for the rest to turn up. They explain the menu to those new. When the food came, it was happy all round.
The chicken wings are really delicious. Restaurant is clean. Staff are friendly.
Atmosphere was ok and food was ok. Could be better with more choices.
Delicious but a bit pricey, maybe due to its location. I love the sambal cuttlefish n fried chicken
Service was prompt and staff were friendly. The atmosphere and ambience was great too as I had brought along international colleagues to have a feel of having local Malay food.
All is well. Great food and location. Eh eh eh.
Great service.. Food served on time.. Not crowded.. Good ambience
Booked reservation for 14 pax a day earlier and got confirmation already confirmed. Evening received message ask to submit order. Next day submitted order at 11.30am. when reached venue, was told by staff apparently someone by the same name called and say to cancel reservation and move it to Thursday. I didn't make any calls to cancel and was disappointed to know that we can' t be allocated an area in the restaurant's premises. In the end we were given seats outside the restaurant. And to make things worst, the food that was promised in the message to be ready before the break fast session wasn't ready and we had to wait untill after break fast for the food to be delivered to us. And staff wasn't sure of the orders that we had made as we had some wrong orders delivered to us. As for the food, it was ok but can see it was cooked in a pretty rushed manner hence the distinct lack of presentation and taste. Doesn't justify the price at all. First time going there and most probably last time as well. Service have to improve. Communication is lacking.
Due to fasting month we have to make advance order which we did and when we arrive our order was already served on the table so the ambeng platter was almost cold by iftar time.

Prompt and fast service, even though there was a crowd due to the fasting month.
Love the ambiance and the fast and efficient service. However the best experience was the awesome food. Yuummyy...
There was just the two of us so we ordered the 1 pax nasi ambeng - didn't expect the serving to be that bad; the portion we can tolerate but how dirty the plate is :| the fish is also not crispy. We also ordered omelette which unfortunately is as hard and dry Understand that it is Ramadhan period but you guys can do better in maintaining the crispiness of the fish and at least a good omelette? It seems like the kitchen prepared everything hours before and didn't bother to keep it warm :| Definitely not coming back as other places serve much better food!
Booked during the Ramadhan period for break fast. Padi even whatsapped for Pre order so that I can avoid any delays on my food for break fast. It was an excellent service, the food was awesome! Will surely come back here again!
The food was delicious Environment was nice.. Very good experience
Nice place to dine. Food is nice but could be better.
Great spread for Iftar (5 pax), not too much served, hence no food went to waste. Will definitely patron again.
Everything was very well prepared from the get go and we appreciate that, since we were a group of 14 pax.
Good for family dinners, esp with kids! Great that Padi accepts PayLah 😊
Great food and good service. Would love to come back next time.
I feel like the lemak chili padi could have been better. Didn't had the lemak taste and spicyness
We love the Nasi Ambeng. Will come again to try in future.
Cozy and plesant place to dine in. Definitely should return
Me & my friends reached there about 10 mins before our actual reservation time. The table has been prepared. Pre-ordered our food, which we find it good (not a hassle to choose what to order when we're there). We enjoyed our time there! :)
Bad service. they have a bunch of young workers whose not fit for the job. they served the food earlier when the guest have yet to arrived and they do not know how to take down guest request upon booking. bad service.
Go there with fiancé for iftar but we were 1hr late, reach there our food and drink were ready, just seat and eat. The Nasi Ambeng was nice and our drink hot chocolate and cappuccino was also nice but already cold since they prepare it before Iftar. But it was our bad for being late. That’s all.
It was our first visit during the ramadhan. The food was OK. For the price we paid we expected the food to surprise us. The portion for the ala carte was too little for the price paid. The food were all non flavourful. Service was very good but the food really made us upset.
Food was good ! Perhaps a tad early in serving which means that not all the dishes are warm Enough .
very attentive staffs , easy going & friendly 👍. Food was yummy & generous ,top up with big jug of drinks ... we will be back in syaa Allah🌹💕🌹
The service was slow. We ordered 4 jugs of water but no cups were given throughout our meal. The staff did not approach us to give any explanation but instead they ignored the customers. Some of us were upset as we were looking forward for the iftar together.
We made a reservations of 6 but ended up got a seat for 4 pax instead.
Find that the food quality is a little different. Maybe it’s just fasting month.
someone from the restaurant contacted me a day before to confirm my orders to be prepared as it was for break fast. our table was ready with the food and drinks when we got there and all we had to do was wait for the time. overall a good dining experience despite the steeper price (and smaller portion me thinks) compared to other similar establishments.
Summary: Food is good, but service is horrendous. On Thursday, I made a reservation for 14pax (even stated 10adults, 4kids) on a Sunday, 6.45pm for iftar (break fast). We made a request to get the upper floors “duduk bersila” area & was granted by Friday. Came early at 6.20pm Sunday hoping to make the kids settle down before breaking fast, but was greeted with disappointment as the seating requested was given away to other patrons. Reason: the boss granted our request but the staffs weren’t aware of it. What more, we were given outdoor seats literally at the main walkway without any shelter or fans. We were with 4 kids all below 7yrs old! They’re gonna be outside during Maghrib with no fans & no shelter?! Preorder was requested before 12pm but by 7.10pm, only half of our order was served. After informing the waiters 3times, only 2 lamb chops were served. By then we were almost done with the nasi ambeng dulangs. The lamb chops were cold and came without knives so we requested for 3 (1 more for fish & chips which we were still waiting for). The waiter came back with only 2 knives saying they ran out of it. A restaurant can run out of knives? Once we are finished with the lamb chops, fish & chips still didn’t appear, same goes to our siput sedut. I personally went up to the counter & informed a waitress to cancel these 2 orders. After awhile, I head back to the counter for payment, but another waiter was bringing the fish & chips out to our table. I hurriedly pointed to the waitress & reminded her that I’ve already cancelled through her. During payment, I told the cashier AGAIN that I’ve cancelled the dishes. This same waitress intercepted our conversation saying the siput sedut had indeed been served to us. After I glared in awe, she somehow said “oh I thought it was your table”. What kind of service is this? 1stly the reservation mis-comm which the staffs solely put the blame on the boss. Then the seats were outdoors. Then the missing dishes. Now indirectly telling me that I lied for my order?! After I pointed out about their service, the cashier gave 10% discount. Just 10%?! We were perspiring outside sitting on shaky stools, no backrest, imagine how the kids were? We were made to pay restaurant charges including 10% service charge but with shittier-than-hawker-centre ambience & pathetic service. Another waiter said he’ll get the boss out when I was making payment, but disappeared into the kitchen. Even after payment, we sat back at our table for a good 20mins (that same waiter cleared our table) but no sight of the boss. Pls train your staffs properly & have a centralised order system whereby all staffs are aware of any requests. Your food is good, but with service this atrocious, this will be the last time for us.
A few things to take note. We were contacted 2 days before the day to confirm the reservation and was provided with the menu, to preorder our food. As it is the fasting month, I understand the need to preorder. It will provide the restaurant to prepare our food in time for break fast. On the day itself, the appetiser was served way in advance while the main dish (the ambeng platter) was served way too late. That is not the real issue at hand. The real problem here is that we were not served what we preordered. The ambeng platter for 5 pax was not complete. It was lacking 2 specific dishes (urap and paru). So, we approached the staff and informed them of the 2 missing dishes. Then, we were told that they have run out of the dishes that was missing from our platter. Why were we not made aware from the beginning that 2 of the dishes are finished? Why are we not made aware that they have substitute the 2 missing dishes with 1 additional bagedil (which is not a comparable substitute at all)? Why were we not given a choice as to what they could substitute the missing dishes with? To our surprise, when we were done with our meals, we saw new ambeng set being served with the 2 missing dishes that we didn't get. Upon making payment for the meal, I raised the issues. It definitely was not welcome with any empathy from the staffs. I certainly hope this feedback will taken into action. If nothing is being done, then it will be the same as your business is cheating people's money, as we are not getting what we are paying for. I am absolutely disappointed with the service as such. My friend was singing high praises of Padi, hence my high expectation.
I'd love to come again! Great hospitality from the crew! Thank u guys :)
Like the idea of pre-order during Ramadan. It saves waiting time. However, my family was seated outside and it was a little warm. Should install fans for diners dining outside the restaurant. Overall, satisfied with dining experience and not forgetting the delicious durian mousse cake. 😊
Thank you so much. All ur staff were very attentive to our request. Good job and we really appreciate it. Definitely will recommend to all our families and friends😊😊😊
We were a group of 12 for birthday celebration. The cosy corner is on the second floor and is a snug floor sitting area, which made the food sharing concept of nasi ambeng more meaningful It is a shame that the fumes of fried food wafted into this area constantly. We pre-ordered our food and had a good experience liaising with friendly and helpful Adiqah. The dishes were superb, except for 2 dishes. The place is very busy due to breaking fast in Ramadan month. Only the satay and chilli fries came cold. The downside of being at the snug cosy corner is we were forgotten. There was no service at all. Each time we needed anything, we had to go down to ground floor to inform or remind them. Would I be back? Certainly for the good food but not during busy periods of Ramadan. Perhaps not such a big group to get better service.
Food was good, meal was pre-ordered to ensure that food comes on time for break fast. Thanks!
We love the cozy corner. Will suggest our family members to come for family gathering.
The waiter and wautress are very friendly and we really feel good with good food in our stomach.
Manager n floor staff are friendly.. good customer service. Well recommended place for gathering
