The food was authentic and tasty. The ma la level was good - highly recommend the kou shui duck as a starter. The ma po tofu was also great, along with the meicai pork. Restaurant was clean, with a cute panda made of mahjong tiles on the wall - a cute tribute to the mahjong culture of Sichuan. Service though, could be improved. I waited at the counter for a good 10min staring at the waitress on her call (and staring back at me) - the other waitress did not bother to sit me.

Desserts are really bad and no worth ordering. Portions are pretty large and in only 1 size, so you are like just 2 persons, you can't order a lot of dishes.

The chilli diced chicken shouldn’t be cut into too small pieces. Can’t really find the chicken coz it’s too small.

Food was delicious, except for the Xiao long bao, skin too thick. We rejected the wet tissues but they charge us even if we use the dry ones. Which is ridiculous. So we took the whole dry tissue with us. 🙄

Easy to locate, servers were attentive, however nothing can save the horrible plate of laziji we had. It was unnecessarily oily and overcooked (chewing it was a nightmare). Bamboo slices was pretty ok. Hongyouchaoshou was below average, bland and soupy. Guess that’s all you can expect of a watery slapped in the middle of a tourist hotspot.
