Fantastic, will go back again and the food portions are plentiful.
Great sake selection and excellent service. The food was very good too!
The food is just so amazing! The service was wonderful as well!
Great place with good food and service. would come again
Good food and excellent service. Also conveniently located near MRT.
Had a pleasant experience at Nomiya Izakaya& Sake Bar when I brought my partner there for a birthday meal. The food was unique, and the staff also surprised my partner with a slice of cake as well as a small scoop of ice cream! Thankful for the service and food :)
Service was great and the menu is interesting with a good twist.
original fusion cuisine, amazing selection of sake, modern hip interior and great service, a place to return to ! Do not miss the charcoal chicken ! ;)
Food is tasty but portion is small for the price you are paying. Service staff are friendly and attentive. The place is small and it can be noise when there are more tables and difficult to hear each other taking at the same time. I appreciate if the music can be more pleasing and smoothing or something relax rather than fast tencho songs….. it just don’t match the place…
The food was great , staff was attentive but the only drawback was even with reservation they mixed it up and they given my table away.
Fabulous food and wonderful service. As travellers we were made to feel very welcome. Add this restaurant to your ‘must do list’ when in Singapore
The food serving was just nice and it was delicious! Service was attentive as well as I asked for a quieter corner and they tried their best to accommodate. Definitely a must go.
The ambience was cosy and staff were attentive and courteous.
Although the prices are on the steep side, the dishes are all very tasty and unique. The Chirashi-don was the only item that we were not too impressed with. The rest, like the prawns in butter, lobster coquette, the cold udon, the charcoal chicken, foie gras chawamushi, were all well presented and yummy. We didn't order the kueh pie-tee as we find the price for 2 pieces a bit steep for a try.
Attentive staffs with good service. The food was delicious too! Highly recommended!
We went there for dinner, celebrating my wife’s birthday. Food was great and the service was warm and excellent. The whole family enjoyed the night a lot. Thank you.
Nice food especially the foie gra Chawanmushi. Cozy ambience and good for gathering
Went there for Kumar show... only order drinks didn't order any food
Still serving complimentary tap water, prompt service, food portion generous
been here multiple times for lunch and it never disappoints! staff may change but service still good
Always great food and great service from the team at Nomiya!
Was okay. The place is kind of small. So good for intimate dining. Some of the food was very good - edamame with special spice, soy mushrooms, charcoal chicken. The sushi and skewers were ok. As was the highball. Service was super nice.
Amazing service and very delicious food. We’ll be back again.
Quality of the food is very good but come in small portion.
Great, fast and friendly service with free flow tap water!
Great choice of food. Reasonable portion and pricing. Suitable for business lunch. Attentive staff
Great place and service. Our tsukune came slightly burnt on one side and they insisted to replace it when they noticed while walking past our table
place was a little cramped indoors and they couldn't seat us even though we were slightly early for our reservation. food order also had long breaks between serving of some items. food was so so. portion was small for the truffle pasta despite ordering the large. not cheap even after entertainer app discounts. won't return.
noisy and lively but it was a tad hard to hear one another. great food and service tho
food was pretty good and arrived within 15mins of us ordering!
Ambience was relaxing, food portion is slightly small but tasty
delivers an exceptional dining experience with its delicious don rice dishes. Whether you're a donburi enthusiast or a newcomer to Japanese cuisine, this restaurant is sure to impress. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a taste of Japan in the city.
excellent service from staff who was very attentive and refilled water continously
The food quality is good and the ambience was great. The good place to eat and catch up with friends.
Small hole-in-the-wall kinda restaurant but big on taste and freshness in their sashimi.
Either food or services all are good, will come back again
Excellent, its my 3rd time visiting and still getting the best experience and food.
Service was top notch as the server lady was very attentive and friendly. Although she’s the only server, she was efficient and always popped by to check on our needs. She also kindly prepared a surprise birthday ice cream and sake for us which was a really sweet gesture! Greatly appreciated and totally enjoyed the dining experience!
This izakaya was conveniently located in the heart of Chinatown. It served up great food with decent portions. Loved their skewers, charred prawns and grilled yellowtail collar. Will definitely visit again!
Place was pretty decent. Food was not bad and staff was friendly too.
Went on a Sunday evening around 5:30 pm and it’s quite quiet. First time to this restaurant. Food is quite good especially the stewed beef and the foir gras chawamushi. Not sure about value for money but the bill came to average of $50 per person including 2 half pint beer. Something surprises us was they even gave us complimentary sorbet as dessert.
Service was nice and the food was very interesting and yummy. Will definitely come back!
Always my go to spot for amazing Foie Gras Chawanmushi and to-die-for Brussels Sprouts!
Staff is very attentive and keep refilling our water. It's pleasant to end the meal with a complimentary sorbet
Food was ok. Quiet in the afternoon. Maybe more happening at night since there are yakitori and alcohol choices.
Great ambience, menu and sake selection! Ordering can be a bit tricky with the staff but as long as the order isn’t that far off - it’s ok!
The dishes were all tasty and interesting The sake we had was also awesome Staff also prepared dainty complimentary ice cream and sorbet for our celebration
Nice casual place with good food options. enjoyed the yakitori and their specials which were all done very nicely. staff was friendly and accommodating as well which made the whole experience more lovely
food was great though the waiting time for one of the menu took longer than the rest. I believe it was because the waitress forgot to include that in our order. Waitresses were very bit shy to the point that I was not able to hear what they said and I had to ask multiple times. The “disco” music does not really help in this situation either. I’d suggest changing it to other type of genre for a calmer and more intimate vibe.
