This is my second visit. To me, izakaya is a place you go to eat and drink — but primarily to drink then eat. The food, no matter how delicious, is a fringe benefit but not the main point of the experience. I had the okonomiyaki seafood (staff was kind to explain difference between okonomiyaki and monjyayaki). If you are unfamiliar, you can get the staff to help you grill it on top of the teppan. Other additions I ordered, like the cheese tofu, yaki gyoza were equally delicious. Take note, service can be a little lackluster when it gets crowded and your hair would probably smell like a grilled squid if you are seated at the teppan. For now, this is my go to place after work for a couple of beers and good unpretentious food.

Really good garlic chahan and sushi. Sitting by the river is cool too.

Food all taste fantastic but do note the portions here are not for people to "binge" but rather to mingle and have fun more than being full from food. Would still consider coming back again but more for smaller group than the big group.

The cooking was slow and we always have to call the service staff to come in to check. Overall, it is a very good Japanese restaurant.
