Food was great! The lobster given was much bigger than expected. 1 less point from the perfect score due to slow food service initially. After that the dishes cam out faster.
My first visit since the restaurant moved to China Square. Still prefer the old place at Chinatown Point. More spacious n less noisy. But food quality is good. Recommend the salted egg pork ribs and crispy chicken.
Pleasant dinner. It was my second time there with overseas guests (chinese and Caucasians always get good feedback. Reasonable prices. Liu sa bao was a hito
good restaurant, delicious food, prompt service, reasonable prices!!! We arrived slightly late but thankfully our reservations was still there, and the food was served quickly and still hot fresh from the kitchen
We originally went to try out the Groupon deal but was told that we had to give them advance notice as they have limited stock of lobster. So we tried their seafood roast duck set lunch instead. Food was good with reasonable quantity. Service was friendly and quick. Overall a pleasant experience. Will be making a return trip to try out Groupon deal. This time I will remember to inform them of it when I reserve a table.
Amazing food. The waiters are very helpful and friendly towards all the customers which allow us to feel very at home. I would recommend my friends to this restaurant
The XO and duck fried rice we ordered was fairly well executed, with enough wok hei and flavors to elevate it past a typical fried rice. There were hits and misses amongst the dimsum we ordered, as is to be expected. The rice rolls with prawn and char siew that we ordered were very stodgy and poorly done. As was the skin for the har gows. (prawn dumplings) The filling did not impress me either. The rest of the dishes were decently executed. The baked charsiew pastries deserve special mention - essentially an extremely delicious (when eaten hot) pocket of sweet flavorful pork (with at least 25% fat) covered by a thin, flakey layer of filo like pastry.
Good environment, in a very convinent place and they serve good Chinese cuisines
No dimsum (other than liushabao) served at night. Rather disappointing but at least the other food was still pretty good. Would go again to try the dimsum next time
Good food, aircon was down. Would recommend it for company lunch (after aircon is fixed). The salted egg yolk bun and xo carrot cake is recommended.
Good food and service. Good place for family gathering and location is easy accessible with the near MRT station. Well follow up after the booking make.
The food is disappointing. Sharks fin soup has a foul taste from stale oil from fish maw. Overall food experience is below average. Boston lobster is not nice. Not recommended
Service was prompt and good. Wide variety Of choices along with the staff going around with trolleys of special items. Delicious! Liu Sha Bao is a must with its crusty pastry and yummy filling
Went on Sunday morning at 11 am, only two tables occupied but the restaurant quickly filled up as the time went on. Service staff provided very good and friendly service, ensuring that our tea cup was always filled up even after we've paid and still stayed on a while to chit chat. Dim sum was okay, will come back again.
The food was excellent and service staff are attentive. Just one suggestion if the staff feels that the customer has ordered too much they should feel free to advise. We ordered too much the last time and a lot of food was wasted. Thank you.
As usual, my favourite Liu Sha Bao and XO carrot cake are fantastic. i take away the Liu Sha Bao for breakfast the next day after i heat up in the toaster for 5 minutes It was still very nice and the fillings did not harden.
The environment and services are good and the set lunches are good. The only thing I think they can make progress is the last course of soup. Not so tasty and to much for me
good food, but a bit not accessible. but will go again
We arrived early, was attended shortly by the staffs on duty. Good prompt service, keep up the good work! Food is fantastic, maintained the standard
Dim sum is good and well priced. When busy may have difficulty getting attention but they eventually redeemed themselves! Recommend the decadent custard buns! !
Delicious Liu Sha buns! Fantastic dim sum. Friendly and amicable staff.
food are very bad, the value in Groupon suppose be 120 above, but the print out on food price are 29.00, why such big difference, service are also very bad
Quality dim sum, wonderful service. Our favourites: spring roll, liusha buns, charsiew bao, fried carrot cake, prawn cheong fun. They gave us a voucher for a free Peking duck!!
Definately the Liu Sha Bao and the Xo carrot cake!! Very tasty. One of the best Dim Sum place to go. Service is fast and good.
Great food at very reasonable prices. Loved the deep fried pig intestines with crispy garlic and XO prawnball with snow peas and scallops. Good service too!
I love the liu sha bao and dumpling shark fin soup. Both items are delicious and fantastic! I will come back with colleagues and family members.
The food is very tasty. Service is great. Service staff helps to refill tea constantly and place is quiet. Good environment to have a meal.
Other than good gourmet, the waitress don't come and bother to ask you if you need additional food. Thankfully we ordered what we want and additional orders do get served.
There is no Dim Sum during CNY and they only serve big groups. Prices during these time is a little higher thanusual but food is still good.
Food was great and the portion is just nice for us. At least they have a nice selection of cny ala carte dishes instead of just cny set meals that most Chinese restaurants dish out during cny. That helped as some of us can't take seafood which is in most of the set dishes.
Great food good customer service. Highly recommended to bring grps of friends or customers.
Good food. Good and fast service. Nice decoration. Convenient location. Car park is at the basement. Really nothing much to complain about this restaurant. Give it a try.
Love it. Attentive service - love the Salted egg yolk pastry. Not sure about the Wagyu Beef Dumpling in Black dumpling skin. Would come back again.
All the dishes were great, Pa Ting Fish was really value for money: Huge piece and fresh for only $38. Trio egg veg had a rich and flavourful broth that was really comforting. Loved the baked liu sha bao too, only wish there was slightly more filling and that it was served hot. Service was great too!
The food was good e.g. the roasted chicken with crispy skin, fried cod, asparagus with truffles and their double boil soup. Service could be better as I waited about 15 mins for my bill, the only poor experience.
Food was average. Staff didn't explained the size of each serving when we are ordering. Their large serving was humongous. Food was served promptly though. Yu sheng was tasty.
Really great and professional. The staff were prompt and handling my requests and had never turned down any requests put forth by my wife or myself.
It was a pretty popular place in the past but the service and the food I'd experienced yesterday justify why there wasn't any crowd in this Chinese New Year period.
Good food and polite staff. Would recommend making a reservation as the crowd filled up the place by 12pm. Some were seen queuing for a table. Went there on Sunday 11am.
Quick service despite the CNY festive period. The set meal was fairly good although not exceptionally memorable. The roast chicken was the highlight of the meal. Crispy skin and super moist meat. Awesome ! Heard the dim sum is good. Will try again :)
Restaurant was very accommodating in last minute changes to no. of pax. Dimsum was good, especially the salted egg yolk bun and service was okay
Food was of great quality. Appreciate how mouth restaurant constantly strives to maintain good quality and taste in their food! Will definitely return and patronize again.
Food was good, the service staff are attentive and nice. Item to try would be their "pan fried" liu sha ba, 6 colored har gao , roasted pork and char siew.
XO carrot cake is one of the best i have tried. The Service was very good i was impress by one of the staff, an uncle who does serving of the food . He remembers me from my last visit and can remember i have enquire about one of the dish on the menu.
Service is good, pricing is reasonable. Food is good too just a bit overly Sweet and salty, good ambience. Would recommend friends the downside is water being charged.
Food is quite nice. We ordered mostly dim sum and it's quite delicious. It's full during lunch time, reservation is recommended. Desert looks & tastes good !
The service personnel are very friendly and efficient. The food is quite good. However, one minus point is the toilets is rather far away. Will surely go back again.
Lovely liu sha bao! Best there is! Good service Good food
They were crowded on Jan 23 evening. We weren't asked what beverage or tea we wanted. After they discovered that they missed our beverage order, then service picked up. The food was good overall, and we did not feel like we had an overdose of msg, instead, the ee fu mian was a little bland. The soon hock was well fried and costs $8 per 100g, so its quite reasonably priced. We were seated in front of a wall mounted TV which played one of those loooong tiresome Taiwanese drama, if only they could play sthg a little more cultured. Overall experience was ok & I will go back again.
Very nice and delicious food which are reasonably priced. Authentic taste of Cantonese food.
