Stayed in Pan Pacific Orchard and decided to try their buffet restaurant out. We love their savoury pastries - very creative and delicious! Foie Gras was ok, just too oily for us. Overall their food was decent for a buffet. Go there for the atmosphere! That’s where they win.
Dino (Sake sommelier from Florette Lv 11) gave us a nice pairing of Sake with our food from Mosella. A most amazing dining experience.
My 4th visit there. The last time was about 4 months ago. Somehow the food quality has dropped tremendously.....I ordered one of my favourites, the lamb chops and it was dry and overcooked. All the other dishes were just OK and that makes me suspect that the original chef has left. When the Hotel just opened, there was a wonderful team serving at Mosella but somehow, I do not see them anymore. The current team seems new and inexperienced, and when we placed our order, they were not even familiar with the menu and could not even pronounce the names of the dishes!
Great food. Great service. Discount got GHA discovery member is great
Beautiful hotel food exceeded expectations, nice variety in the menu and nice friendly staff
Ordered the set lunch which was great value for money. Service was excellent. Would definitely return for another visit.
It was birthday dinner, we had a great time with lovely hospitality
Very good quality food! Limited vegetables offer but very good seafood and meat buffet.
While my previous dining experience during Restaurant Week was unexpectedly great, my return 3 weeks later was quite the opposite. My wife and I hosted a dinner for some friends and most of us had the dinner set, albeit with different options. The first indication of how the night would turn out was when we were seated at a rather dimly lit section and I had to use my phone to illuminate the menu in order to read it. Requests to change to a brighter table were initially declined (even though the restaurant had empty tables) before an offer was finally made to seat us near the kitchen area, I declined as it sounded like there might be quite a bit of foot traffic around us. I had made our reservation more than a week in advance. Portion size of the Hamachi appetizer, tenderloin and suckling pig asado were unexpectedly small. I’d have expected bbq grill marks if you describe a dish as asado but what do I know. My portion of the pig was actually a little bit more and I embarrassingly tried to offer it to my guest to supplement his minuscule portion. The teenager’s tenderloin disappeared in a few bites. What else? The server kept asking us to identify what we ordered every time a dish was brought over. A fly landed in the wine glass of my guest and when informed, the server silently exchanged the full glass for an empty one. Very enthusiastic about clearing plates even when you could be clearly seen putting food into your mouth. I think the best way to describe the service was while they did try, I think their efforts were a bit misguided. Some further training would be of benefit. The food was generally okay, nothing extraordinary, but let down by portion sizing and the standard of the service. When questioned about portion sizing, I was told the dishes I asked about had already garnered the same feedback from other diners. It’s either the head chef doesn’t care, or the feedback has not been passed along. The original bill was over $600 for 5 diners. A disappointing and embarrassing experience. Standing by for a canned response apologizing for my experience and thanking me for my feedback, but without further follow up.
The service at Mosello is fantastic staff very alert. Food is great too compliment to Chef Boz & Pastry Chef Eunice. Will recommend friends to visit
Food and ambience was excellent Halfway through the dinner, noticed a dead mosquito at one of the food placement Inform the staff and the staff not doing anything which makes me feel NEA not doing anything
The restaurant was not even full house yet the kitchen took a really long time to dish out our orders. It didn’t seem like the kitchen was understaffed either. We had to wait for 45 minutes between our appetisers and main dishes. After the exceptionally long wait, the food was disappointing at best 😮💨 Ordered the wagyu tenderloin which came raw at some parts. The chargrilled octopus was small and dry. We had to wait another 15 minutes before we had some updates on our paella. The only saving grace is the really warm service crew. There are many better restaurants around the vicinity. I would not recommend.
Delicious zucchini flower and nice ambience and good service. Delicious zucchini flower and nice ambience and good service.
Overall the service is good. The service staff will ask for feedback on the food and any request is promptly attended to.
Fantastic food but a bit on the high side. I would visit more often if prices were a bit more reasonable. All my friends who have been there say the same thing.
Amazing decor! Codfish and cocao dessert were the favorite dishes!
We ordered the drinks as soon as arrived, they took almost an hour and a half for us to receive them. The alcoholic drinks didn’t even taste like they had any alcohol. After getting through most of our dinner, we realised the kitchen was closing without even serving us two of our main courses. Turns out they forgot about them and the best they could do was compensate us with dessert. Manager was horrible and kept making excuses for everything. The restaurant only had 4 occupied tables and he kept saying they were so busy serving other tables. Every other table at the restaurant also had problems with either their bill or the food. Sad as the food was quite nice
