It’s no wonder there chili crab was rated the best in Singapore by the lonely planet, it was delicious!! Friendly service,laid back vibe & giving the customers a copy of the photo they ask if they can take for their digital photo board is a nice touch. Will be back next time I’m in Singapore

Food was sensational, staff were friendly and efficient, but, always a but - eating a messy meal Like chilly crab you expect the hosts to be all over the utensils, bib’s and serviettes. I had no crab cracker, had to ask for a bib and extra serviettes. In saying this, it’s a semantic - the food was outstanding and the staff were working hard to satisfy the guests. A bit of slippage is always allowed - especially when I am up to my elbows in the best chilli crab sauce in Singapore

The crabs are delicious here, especially the chili crabs. Great place to go for crabs in Singapore. You are better book a table in advance!

We had the set meal for 2. It was a bit too much for us so we didn’t have room for the gelato. Good portions. The crab was fresh, meaty, tasty, but the bee hoon soup was slightly disappointing - it was the first time I’ve had it so I’ve no point of reference but it just wasn’t the light and milky seafoody broth I was expecting. Saying that, dunking those pillowy soft mantous in it was delightful. The spicy crayfish wasn’t spicy at all (typical for Singapore) but it was outstanding nonetheless- meat falling from the smokey charred shells. Veggies were good, and the squid small plate was cooked well but slightly bland. Service was friendly and attentive - they even took our photo and gave us a polaroid with the bill. I’ll definitely go back to try the other crab dishes, and will order the crayfish again

This is a great place. Great atmosphere and one of the best places for a chilli crab experience. More than happy to recommend this place.

Food was great! We had 5pax and ordered the set menu for 4pax and still couldn't finish the food... The place was packed with diners and it would be better if the aircon was cooler.

Food was delicious but once it was delivered to the table the service finished. No one was asked if they wanted more drinks or anything else, the 3 young men sat behind the counter and played on their phones and chatted with their heads down. They appeared to be avoiding working. Customers had to go up to the counter to get their attention. Just not good enough and very disappointing.

Not bad but a bit too spicy for the black pepper crab. Even i love spicy food I found the taste too heavy. Stingray was good.

Food was great as usual but service was very poor tonight. Three staff were working but nobody was actually tending to customers. Our bucket of shells was full and never got replaced.

Good crabs, and relatively straightforward pricing with fixed prices for the crabs. Original black pepper and chilli crabs are definitely worth trying, while most of our favourite was the butter; the crab bee hoon was a the preferred choice of our foreign guests.

Lots of variety for the different flavour to cook crab. Order crab beehoon soup and butter crayfish and it taste good. Am surprise to receive a photo printout.

Small crab for $50.00 fried , squid wasn't completely fried, staff served bored as we were the first ones there Overpriced for what you get. Other restaurants in Chinatown seemed much better value

We really enjoyed Momma Kong's. We were a group of 7 and the service staff was very attentive and good with making menu suggestions for our group size. The food was really delicious. My favorite was the black pepper crab. And they topped the evening off by giving us a photo of our group when delivering the bill. Was a really nice touch. Would definitely recommend and return.

Greate service. My friend was late and I occupied the table for quite long during peak hours ( I'm sorry for that). Despite of that, the employee still treated us nicely without any attitude. The crab was big and delicious. The sourvenir photo given to us when we finish was a pleasant surprise as well.

Food was fantastic - we ordered the set meal which included the chili crab (lived up to the hype, IMO), cereal crayfish, squid, veggies, and gelato. However, aside from the food, what I'd really like to commend is their service. They were very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive to our needs. Will definitely come back!

Great experience of Singapore crab meal in Chinatown. The restaurant is cool and clean. We knew what we had to pay thanks to the fixed prices. The waiter took a photo of us at the beginning and gave us the printing with the bill. Really good! I recommend.

Great experience but the crab $15 service to take the crab meat out (de shelled) was not good enough. Every taste had shell in it. Was told it would take 30 minutes and was happy with that. Took 10 to 15 and obviously was hurried. Spoilt what could have been a great meal.

Service here is always prompt and courteous. I had to change the numbers for my table several times and they were very accommodating. Food is good with a good choice. It's just crabs and more crabs whichever you like. My overseas guests were overwhelmed by the choice and freshness of the crabs on offer. Well done!

The Crab noddle soup was great! However, we feel that the chilli crab sauce was a little too watery and there is also not much meat. The butter crayfish was delicious but again there was not much meat and that cost us $33. We also ordered the bbq sting ray and find the over taste was rather bland. Service was great and the turnaround for all the food ordered was pretty fast.

Chili crab was delicious. We went for the 1 kgs crab. Steam buns were excellent and so was the prawn fried rice. Squids were a little disappointing, specially the quantity

Momma Kong's is a small and simple restaurant in the middle of Chinatown. It is highly rated for its Chilli Crab. Our family of 4 had the set menu, the crabmeat was really sweet. If you're not used to getting crabmeat out of crabshell, it is a fairly messy & finicky business, especially if the crab has sauce over it. Paper bibs and lots of paper napkins would have been useful. The lobster was nice, I enjoyed the two dishes of greens, the other dishes were interesting! For the amount of food we got, especially seafood, the set menu seems to be very good value and a good way to try a range of local dishes. As visitors from Australia, we found dining at Momma Kong's a novel experience but not the type of meal we would seek out again, crab is too messy!

Good quality seafood at reasonable prices. Butter crab, Chilli crab, and crab in bee Hoon soup was good. It's not the best but still good. Would definitely be back again!
