Mikuni Singapore’s executive chef Keisuke Uno offers diners the chance to take a Japanese culinary tour courtesy of the aforementioned live cooking stations and a set of very impressive menus. Mikuni is open for lunch as well as dinner and there’s a wealth of sets to choose from. During the week there’s a regularly changing menu designed specifically for professionals, then, in similar fashion, the main dinner menu changes according to season and is a guarantee of the same high quality. As such, Mikuni Singapore is one of our favourite Japanese dining spots in the Bras Basah area, before we’ve even got to the teppanyaki and robatayaki...
The teppanyaki and robatayaki sets available here on Bras Basah Road each consist of a starter, sashimi, a main course, a rice and soup course, all finished with dessert of the day. From $80 per person, they each offer outstanding value as well as being perfect to pair with a sake or two. Speaking of which Mikuni Singapore has a small but high-quality selection of sake available to complement your food. There’s little not to love about this Japanese restaurant on level three of Fairmont Singapore, Bras Basah.
