The kitchen needs to be more cautious about dietary restrictions. Despite informing about an allergy to shrimp, this was still included in the fried rice. However, it was promptly replaced.
The herbal chicken soup was a great precursor to the tantalising meal. Dessert was well concluded with a blend of sweet treats.
acclaimed to be very good dim sum buffet and most expensive. but actually really lousy food
It was my MIL birthday and the restaurant made a surprise birthday cake for her. It came with a beautifully handwritten calligraphy birthday wishes with longevity buns.
Great service. The Irish duck was excellent. Sufficient wine selection.
The herbal jelly dessert and the chrysanthemum tea beverage paired well with the somewhat oily dishes and was a much needed respite from the seasonal heat.
The barbeque meat platter tasted fine and paired well with red wine. The private dining rooms were rowdy with many guests.
The Siu Mai and har gao is outstanding as is the char Siew. The beet root dumpling is unusual too . But the Siu Yok is a disappointment, the skin is not crispy and it is too salty. The xo carrot cake is too soft and not as good as some other restaurants. The pickled tomatoes are excellent .The plating and presentation is very good and service is attentive.
It was a good visit for the family to celebrate the festive occasion in advance.
It was a good visit for a family meal to celebrate the occasion.
great atmosphere. service staff is attentive and will pace the serving rate.
The soft shell crab was an excellent choice. It paired well with Oriental tea and whetted the palatte for dishes to follow.
Have dined a few times. Food quality and service never disappoint me.
The crabmeat fried rice was simply delicious. It paired extremely well with the Jasmine Oriental tea.
Had a great lunch today. Will definitely return and bring my family and friends!
The seafood noodles was delicious. the frshest ingredients were used, such as scallops and fish slices. The ambience was not fantastic, with rowdy guests.
The food tasted fine but the ambience was greatly compromised by two private events. Access to the restrooms were blocked and patrons had to use the one in the main building, which is highly inconvenient.
The staff like Maggie is attentive & good n the service is good
The selection of premium Oriental tea was varied and diverse. Went for the traditional Jasmine flavoured tea and it was brewed to perfection. Certainly, it blended well with the savoury tofu dish and seafood noodle dishes.
Love the service level n the food was exceptional for all dishes we ordered
The food was ok, nothing special. The service was super bad. We did choose a tasting menu and the staff was not even waiting for us to finish the dish before serving us the following. Plus they did not explain the dish. We will not go back again for sure and not recommend it
Pricey but everything was immaculate. Had a great time there
Expensive Chinese restaurant but uses top quality ingredients, service is so so.
Great food, nice staff, just we have been a bit in a hurry
Nice atmosphere, delicious food and friendly staff. Enjoyed the Club ICON tasting menu very much.
The black tofu specialty dish really does wonders for the palatte. Service by Philip, Anson and Shirley were great. Noise from the restaurant below could be better managed.
Phillip and Anson were simply delightful. They were attentive and hospitable throughout. As we were seated in the semi private dining area, the ambience felt exclusive.
A good dining experience for my family. The food and services were good. The ambiance
Enjoy the CNY lunch. Great service and entertaining Yu Sen presentation.
Everything was on point. Fantastic food and service, will come again
wonderful dim sum and great customer service! totally enjoy ourselves...
The service was excellent. In particular, Yin Mooi, Phillip, Shirley and Maggie. The lobster egg noodles is a must try. The meat was fresh and succulent.
The food not worth the price. The service is fine, but they are pretty rushy for the dim sum buffet. Expected better quality, especially at that price point, them being in intercontinental, and having Michelin star.
The CNY food menu set is very value for money!
Food was good. Service was very attentive. A good range of options on the menu for the price that it’s offering. Lovely heritage feel to the hotel and restaurant. Only thing is that the seating for the dim sum buffet is only 1.5 hours. Feels somewhat rushed as there is only an hour to order food.
Nice ambience & great for gatherings that require a quieter surrounding.
Great place to dine with friends. Great staff with impeccable service!
Sam, Maggi, Siew Leong provided wonderful service. All the chef signature dishes that were recommended were excellent. Definitely will return again. 👍
Good restaurant, good service, the duck is the best, suggest to provide car park coupon
Wonderful. But it is a bit expensive. Don’t buy the char siew though as it is not so nice. A bit pricey. Good service.
My family was very happy with the food and service. We were celebrating my mother-in-law's birthday and although we could not bring a cake, Renee made arrangements for a coconut-pandan cake for us. From the point we arrived, she advised us well and made appropriate suggestions; including recommendations to what to order. She was thoughtful, warm, and hospitable. She and her colleague, Mooi, took care of all our dining needs. Kudos to them both! They were fantastic and this made our visit to Man Fu Yuan delightful.
First and foremost, the ala carte buffet option was indeed a great deal. The variety of dishes offered at a fixed price allowed me to explore a wide range of flavors and cuisines. It’s a fantastic way to try numerous items on the menu without breaking the bank. Now, regarding the service, the only drawback I found was the pace. The staff seemed a bit hurried, which could have affected the overall ambiance and comfort of the dining experience. However, this didn’t overshadow the positive aspects of the meal. The standout dishes truly made the visit memorable. The fish in claypot was a masterpiece; the fish was tender, and the sauce was flavorful, making it a must-try. The hargow and siew Mai, classic dim sum options, were executed to perfection, showcasing the restaurant’s skill in crafting traditional dishes. The double-boiled pork rib soup was a delightful surprise. It had a depth of flavor and a soothing warmth that made it a great addition to the meal. Lastly, the soft-shell crab dish was simply amazing, with a crispy and flavorful coating that complemented the tender crab meat inside. In summary, despite the slight rush in service, Man FunYuan at Intercontinental Singapore offers a buffet experience that is hard to beat in terms of value for money. The high-quality dishes, particularly the fish in claypot, hargow, siew Mai, double-boiled pork rib soup, and soft-shell crab, showcase the culinary expertise of the kitchen. It’s a place worth visiting for those who appreciate delicious food and an extensive menu.
Nice ambience and location is good! Food is not bad.
Excellent old school dim sum options, go early or it can be served cold
The buffet dim sum was good and the price covers the tea & peanuts too
Great food and selection of food choice. However the dining time is abit too short and rush for a weekend buffet lunch.
Place was nice and food was great. Worth the price
We went for dinner and the service is outstanding, the food is delicious too
The ambience in this restaurant is good. However, the price is pretty steep
Food is great but dining time is too short for buffet.
