Probably the best along balestier Road. Better than boon Tong kee

experience is great..food is ok depending on what is ordered. steamed better.

Went on a weekday and the restaurant is quite empty, with one to two tables occupy. Nice place to hav a pleasant dinner. Service was fast and good.

Dark soy sauce chicken, char sow and roast pork are yummy. Strongly recommend the dark sauce chicken - unique taste. However, wanton soup and fried ones - below average.

Food is generally quite nice! The only concern is that the chicken portion is too little, with no soup given. Chicken also had alot of bone and lesser meat. There are better chicken worth your money just down the road at Balestier Market; Loy Chee's chicken is tastier though.

One of the nicest chicken rice around in my opinion. Love the texture of the rice, the chicken was also doused with a fragrant sauce which makes the rice even tastier.

Glad we came here instead of Boon tong kee across the street. The roasted chicken was so good, soft and moist and rice was fragrant. Paired with chinese cabbage and bean sprout, perfect chicken rice goodness.

brought my mother in law there. ordered both the white and grilled chickens. the vegetables were a little tough this time. overall good place to eat without paying touristy price! great stuff!

Soy chicken tastes better than white chicken. Rice a bit not so cooked today. There are quite a wide variety of dishes including bak kut teh.

Visted at 12:20 on Monday, no need to queue, later at around 1pm more people came. Very good service and good chicken rice. Will visit again.

Chicken meat was done well for both steam and roast. Very delicious! Except for their rice, I believe they use poor quality rice otherwise the fragrance and taste was good. They should use better quality rice to make their chicken rice be the best in Singapore and I shall rate 6 . The reason I rated 5 is due to poor quality rice used and my husband didn’t like the rice so chances for me to go back is Low though I like everything else that we ordered. Gor hiang was perfect and yummy.

tried the roast pork and cha Siew... this time so so .. should stick to the white chicken rice or roasted chicken rice.

the food is getting better and more crowded these days. can't fault them and the chicken rice quality remains consistent.

as always never fails me. had the chicken porridge again with the mutton soup. surprisingly the mutton soup has all the herb smell and not the rancid mutton meat smell. great for 3 person and small family like mine.

Food was average, there are better chicken rice around for the price you pay (single chicken rice set costs $9). There is no service charge though.

this time round we had the standard chicken rice and vegetables. the vegetables are fresh but a little hard for toddlers age 4 like my girl.
