Food was excellent although I wish the suckling pig skin was crispier. Hope to see them reopen somewhere soon.
The restaurant was shut. Noone informed me thst it has gone put of business
It was a really enjoyable experience. The food was so delightful and a burst of novelty for each plate
Nice food, some foods can be ordered according to the number of pax, good service. Overall experience was good.
Had a great birthday celebration at Kubo. The service was personal and great. Foods were creative. We got few free dishes from the restaurant. Prices were reasonable for 2 bottles and a lot of dishes we ordered. Its fillipinos fusion so dishes are elevated, different concept from Hayop. We were so impressed with how all the proteins were cooked. A great place for date too if you want to find a unique place to impress ur date 😁 highly recommend
The food was amazing! You can tell the chef put a lot of thought into the dishes.
Rich flavours, cosy ambience and attentive staff. I would recommend this for Philipino cuisine.
really good filipino fusion grill. chef and staff were very kind. food was very rich and unique
I think this is the best experience I’ve had at a restaurant in Singapore. Great food. Great wine. Great service. Great ambiance.
Food and ambience of the restaurant was great! Love the fact that the waiters were really attentive to table situation and constantly check in on us. A must order is their beef tongue and their sardine on toast! 10/10 would recommend!
A night at Kubo always equates to a great night.
Amazing food! Loved the ceviche, sardines on toast, longganisa on toast, smoked roasted chicken and the purple yam rush for dessert. Well done Chef Kurt and Chef Jeff
The food is new to our taste buds.. The staff are friendly.. The chef and staff explain the food so well before ordering and when serving the food.. My friends like it..
Good food & friendly staff (Roger). Venue is small but cozy.
Was ok. As it was there last day and they were closing completely. We were not aware that there were limited food items also no beer and some beverages. So it was just a surprise for us.
Cocktails were terrible. And many food items were o o s
Nice ambience…. Good choice of music and songs. The price for a pint of beer during happy hours quiet good too 👍 👍
Read a reviews and wanted to try some of the dish but mostly the one i wanted is no longer in the menu. Is okay. But heard from the staff they are closing down soon.
Food was great! Just that the service is slow, there were only 1-2 experience service staffs there. If you need to order food/settle bill, just note that you need to wait for a bit. Overall, I enjoyed my time there.
The food was good but there were rats in the outdoor area….
Great food, excellent service and cost ambience... an enjoyable experience!
very good experience maybe next time can try other menu :)
Tried the moonlight horfun with grilled chicken, the horfun was full of umami and the chicken grilled to perfection! Service by James was excellent!
ordered food from the kubo menu and it didn’t disappoint! would revisit :)
Lunch set is very good value and pork belly was cooked well.
Vibes and musics were great! Drinks were either a hit or miss
This restaurant will need more server. The server's service quality is great, but he alone cannot upkeep the whole restaurant.
Prefer kubo's food standards before they merge with Tipsy Hippo, their KL noodles sauce was so salty till it tasted a bit too bitter. Kubo's restaurant atmosphere back then was so much better too.
Great food and great service. We will definitely will come back for more.
Kubo Singapore presents a tantalizing dish with its Pork Hock. This braised, smoked, and crispy bone-in pork knuckle is served with a delectable array of accompaniments, including peanut sauce, fermented shrimp paste, garlic dip, and vinegar. The dish promises a delightful interplay of flavors, blending savory, umami, and tangy notes to create a truly satisfying culinary experience. Whether you're a pork enthusiast or an adventurous foodie seeking new flavors, Kubo Singapore's Pork Hock is a must-try dish that delivers a harmonious fusion of tastes.
It’s was great experience,,,the foods is 8/10..we probably visit again ☺️
Great food great atmosphere, lovely service for any gathering with friends or family!
Best food and good vibes, it was a great experience. Thanks Chef Kurt for representing the Filipino cuisine
Food was amazing! Would come back here again next time
I’ve been eating at Kubo every couple of months since shortly after they opened. Wood roasted food with a sophisticated Filipino theme. Truly fabulous and well priced. This trip I discovered they have moved to Tipsy Hippo and same great chef, team and tastes. Well done, really recommended.
Chef Kurt was kind enough to reach out how the food was. Really loved the pork hock with peanut sauce!
Nice place to chill and many choices of drinks here.
A great choice of sides that can go with wine or beer. 1 of the quieter branch among the Tipsy group.
Quiet place which I like. Good and unique food menu and service.
Food is as good as other outlets, pity that it is a bit quiet. Hope it gets more customers
good place - reserve ahead and place is nice too
One of the waitress's English was bad and nearly could not be communication. The staff didn't pay much attention to our table, no one change the dirty dishes or refill the water. We paid after we shown the staff we are the member however they didn't let us collect the point. Very disappointed.
The tiny indoor space with a music blasting is kind of uncomfortable to have conversation n painful to ear to sit any longer than 2hrs
I really felt the waitress need some training. Probably she is helpful but instead of feeling that she’s concerned, we find it annoying instead. She don’t feel sincere but kpo. Food was also ok and expensive. Will not visit again anytime soon.
Always saw the place across from Robertson. Been there recently. I must say. Spacious clean and has the right alcohol. Will be a new hang out place
Food was ok. Music was too loud. Service was great
Not very busy, nice spot to catch up with friends. Food was not great though, the calamari was smelly and the fish overcooked. Wines were well priced though
Awful service and food. Wait staff did not write down our orders and kept bringing the wrong order.
Exceptional decor and nice ambience. The foods are delicious 😋 Will recommend to friends..
Overall their Fushion dishes are nice! The ambience is very comfortable.
