A lovely little place. Run by a friendly family. Only high bar stools available, though!
Short of staff so understanbly slow ... forced us to eat n enjoy the food. Blinkis, crepes n herring on potatoes were awesome. Dumplings were so so .... skin too thick for our liking. More cushions on high seats would be welcome d.
Had the lunch set, beef and lamb dumplings with sour cream. Quite delicious. Portions not enough if hungry. Service was quite slow even though place was not busy
The waiting time is a bit long as there is only one chef which is the owner of the pub.
enjoyed the hospitality and the taste of the food. the food service was a little slow though but we understand that it’s family run and we did expect it. maybe to consider streamlining the ordering to cooking to giving food process. 100% would definitely return.
great service with good food in a relax ambience. would have preferred a low dining table. nevertheless it was the food and service that will bring me back
Dumplings buffet for the win!! Must try. It's so delicious.
Good food and also great service. Recommended. Will patronize again.
A cozy, homely ambience with beautiful vintage posters and the music is chill. The owners are friendly, they asked us how the food is. Food is tasty, well cooked and seasoned. It is my third time here and will definitely in the future. Thank you.
Fantastic food and great service. will come back again. Thanks
Love this place, food and family running the place. Excellent!
Staffs are pretty friendly and the food is ok as well.
Food was excellent, service was good but probably due to the restaurant being not crowded.
The food is good and the staff is good also.. super friendly and will definitely go back again..
Warm, friendly staff and a unique dining experience that we will be back for!
Love everything about Kapitan, the atmosphere, the authenticity, the yummy food and the chili vodka! Will come back again!
Finally one place with very fine service and good slavic food. I hope it survives
Wasn't expecting much, especially since we've had European dumplings before. This one surprised us and set the new standard.
Simple and nice environment. Enjoyed their Slavic food. Ordered dumplings very unique and authentic. Polish Bigos are simple and flavourful. Like the mashed potatoes and Sauerkraut that comes with it. Had Medovik for dessert, sweet but nice Drinks, I tried kefir and Kapitans Mule, very refreshing. Kefir goes well with Medovik. Overall wonderful food
Our first try of Slavic cuisine. A cosy and interestingly decorated eatery. The food is pretty good - our small group of 4 had a pleasant dinner. Service was good and attentive. Well worth a visit.
Interesting food. Love the dumplings. Service was good. Cost space.
Food was great but the portions were little small. Abit pricey but service was great
unique food and not my first time here! prices are definitely not the cheapest but worth a try :) they have also tried to localize some of the dishes a little more to make it more approachable for locals :)
Tried the crepe buffet but did not get refill. Only 1 flow of crepe and topping for 2 adults & a child. So basically we were served with 4 pieces of crepe and 8 toppings to be shared. Each topping size is the size of a condiment bowl. So per pax had 1pc of serving plate size crepe with some spread on your crepe for the cost of $17.90. Total time of waiting for first flow is 20mins. Total amount paid $17.90 x 2 = $35.80 excluding Service charge & GST and premium topping. The restaurant felt sorry and waived off child dining cost but what is the point when leaving the restaurant with empty stomach? The restaurant need improvement to managed their manpower and emotion to solve problem rather than throwing tantrum and issue to another colleague. Discourage to dine at this restaurant.
We waited for more than an hour for the food to be served
Food was good. Comfortable and cozy ambience with good service
A unique experience as not many places sell Russian food. Especially able to try both Russian and ukraine dumplings! Those are amazing. The chebureki was great!
underwhelming given the rave reviews on Google. the beef dumplings were not distinctive. bread bowl looked nice but wasn't super tasty. honey cake was ok. the fried pancake with meat was ok but super thin and oily. no return plans.
Nice ambience, delicious Slavic cuisine. Would recommend to eat here.
Tasty slavic food, service was warm and friendly. Will be back!
Hidden Gem in Singapore. The best Slavic cuisine in Singapore. Amazing service. Loved the ambiance and location. Right beside the MRT.
