Excellent! We reprised with the same set lunch menu cos the food is well presented and absolutely delicious! Service was attentive and prompt, yet the courses were well spaced so we didn't feel rushed. Will be back in a flash!
Fantastic food and atmosphere. Great location and service. Prices of spirits are quite fair. I hope this place survives covid, one of my favorite sushi restaurants in town
Excellent food. Fantastic service. Good choice of sake. Really good atmosphere
Poor service with really inattentive staff. Will no revisit again.
felt they were understaffed so service was a little slow at the start. Improved after a while. Had the cod soup and garlic fried rice which was pretty good.
Excellent menu, wonderful crew. I just wish the wine list is not only available on the higher end :)
Service was great. Wanted the premium sashimi but they were low on tuna belly and uni which was a little disappointing. had the Jin Sashimi which was pretty good. They charge for water which is a pet peeve of mine.
Real hidden gem at Telok Ayer. Affordable high end Japanese food.
Food is high quality and portions are sizeable. Need to reserve before dining in as it’s c popular.
It was great food and excellent service with private dining room
The waiter are nice attitude and very great services. I like they really helpful when I am requesting help to charge my laptop to work while enjoy their meal. Their sushi is really nice and the alcohol beverage as well hehe.
Nice food and price are reasonable. I will come again.
PLeasant place with high ceilings although it was a little noisy. Food was decent and good value for money. Service was excellent
It was a good experience. Got the premium chirashi and it was yummy.
Amazing ambience. I had the Premium Chirashi Don and it was perfect for lunch. The seafood was succulent, fresh and generous. The rice was also very unique, different from the usual japanese white grain. Highly recommended and would definitely return for personal and business purposes!
We went on a Friday evening. Food was great but because we were in a room, it was difficult to get the service personnel attention. Also, prices were steep.
Good environment. Friendly staff and service. But very expensive food.
The staff was friendly but the food was only of average quality and not worth the price.
efficient and food was served warm. checking out for payment was fine.
Food was fresh especially the shasimi and service rendered was good as well. My friend ordered unagi lunch set, this set was superb! Must try
Portion was decent and the quality was acceptable. However, quite pricey for a meal for two pax which amounted to $60++. Ambience still alright coz it was air-conditioned.
Food was good, fresh sashimi and good service. I had been there a few times for business lunch and the set lunches are really value for money.
Food was average, normal not to expectations, service was slow and staff was not very attentive and friendly.Environment is quiet & normal nothing special as open concept.
We had the special lunch set of salmon belly and it was delicious. The two of us ordered the same thing and the bill came out to about $60. Service was excellent and we had a seat inside which was nice and quiet.
I didn't see that the chirashi don actually comes with soup and salad? The waitress did not ask or inform me about that. Also the sagu beef was meh, not really worth the price.
Excellent food and service.. What's not to like! All the food was fresh, tasty and well prepared, attentive staff cleared completed dishes promptly to make more room on the table.
Nice ambience and a helpful waitress who guided us the thick menu. Enjoyable place to have lunch in a secluded yet not difficult to locate.
Great food, nice ambience. The chirashi came with seasoned rice, which was flavourful. Food came relatively fast for weekday lunch. Love that they accept reservations for weekday lunches.
We visited there on Satuarday and it was quiet. The place was really nice as we could enjoy our lunch inside a room. Service and food were excellent. Will definitely come back again.
Good food, reasonable prices. Service was also very good too
Food quality is good and fresh, portion is big. Staffs are attentive and good :) Overall value for money . No doubt, will definitely visit again.
Consistently good set lunches, many choices to choose from. Prompt service. Green tea is conplimentary. 10% rebate can be used to offset next dine in bill.
It was fairly crowded with the normal and lunch time crowd. Lunch was excellent and the service was good. We will definitely return another time..
Peaceful and food is good. Have been there twice within 3 weeks. Will be there again.
It was a good experience, the table they gave wasn't good but they moved us. Good food.
Jin is good value for money with really fresh fish. At its price points, it is hard to beat. Ask for the Jin Omakase set.
Food was good, but service was a bit slow (I think they forgot my order). But they were very apologetic about it once they realised.
We had a great meal at Jin Fine Dining. The location is interesting, and my daughter had a great time looking at the hotel model near the lobby. The restaurant service was impeccable, and the food was great. We will definitely try to go back for lunch to try the lunch set menu.
The restaurant is small and cosy. Fresh, delicious food and excellent, attentive service which was prompt and friendly. The price was reasonable in light of the above.
Ask for their omakase dinner and let the chef surprise you. The quality of the sashimi and grilled fish is really top-notch. Will definitely be visiting this place again.
It was my wife's birthday and I suggested that we find somewhere nice for dinner. She, however, had different ideas and started to search the net for good durians. Durian season was over but in one of the blogs she stumbled upon the dinner promotion at Jin. We love Japanese food and when I saw the recommendations, I made a booking immediately. We were not disappointed and enjoyed the meal thoroughly. Service couldn't have been better and it was only after relating our experience with our family then we realised that Chef Thomas is no stranger to us. Just a small feedback - the chawanmushi has room for improvement as we have tasted much better ones elsewhere.
The best chirasi in town and it won't burn hole in your wallet. Nice and cozy ambience for both casual lunch and business lunch. Try it
Good fresh sashimi on rice. A tad pricy for normal lunches so save this as a treat. Service wise not too bad but I wouldn't say it's exceptional. The main star is the food.
The food and service were both exceptional. Easily one of the best chirashi don in Singapore. Staff were polite and the waiter even offered to put our bag on a chair when he saw them on the floor.
There was a mix-up by staff over my order but at least they admitted it was their fault and adjusted the bill accordingly. Food was ok but grilled yellowtail cheek was a bit overdone.
the sushi and sashimi is very fresh. service during the lunch time rush is great. however the where we were sitting, it is a little noisy, great for casual business lunch.
The sets available at lunch are value for money, given the quality of the seafood and portions served. Had the bara chirashi set (not one of the lunch sets). It came with salad and miso soup. The rice and sashimi were tasty, while the portion of fish slices was way more than that of the rice. The rice was cooked with bamboo shoots (or so i think) and seaweed which gave it a nice flavour (and crunch!) that wasn't too overpowering when paired with the fish.
Great food and good service. Sashimi is fresh and i will be back.
Very good experience - reservation was confirmed both by Quandoo, as well as by the restaurant. Food was good, as usual. Will go again in future should the opportunity arise.
I've had better Chirashi here previously, the cuts were messy, thin and the quality seems to have dipped. Worst experience so far but I'm still giving it a 4/6, still worth coming back.
