Food quality is not fantastic so this is not somewhere I will go again

The food is nice and tasty. The chili crab is nice especially the sauce with the bun. The location is very inconvenient but overall the service is good.

Enjoyed my time here over fresh seafoods. The restaurant is rather old fashioned looking -it's tucked away inside Serangoon shopping center; adds a bite of nostalgia. Food wise -good, fresh crabs my friends and I enjoyed the salted egg yolk flavour.

Environment is very normal.Air con not so cooling.Staff service is normal too.overall experience there just okay. Nothing to comment much.food menu is expensive too.don't think will go there again.

The dishes are quite good and service is prompt. Not many people on a weekend dinning but overall is satisfied especially the black pepper crab is very yummy.

Food were good, but service a little slow. But is okay. As restaurant rather crowded. Simply love the crab soup with noodle, soup just too delicious

Loved the huge portions of crab, and fresh fish and prawns. Especially enjoyed the black pepper crab. Prices are on the high side though. Spent about $80/pax there.

Won't go again to this outlet. Punggol outlet was better. Ordered Indonesian sambal crab and it was very oily and didn't taste as good as the one we had at Punggol outlet. Food presentation was also not as good.

Nice food, we order 2.6kg of crab and cooked in 2 flavour which is chili crab and salted egg crab. Food order and ready very fast too. We enjoy our dinner so much. Thanks for the good service. Thumb up!!

Average serving of crab but may be not be the freshest around. Staff is friendly and attentive. May consider to visit if they can improve the freshness of the crab.

Used groupon of $100 for $200. Ended up spending $280 with just a slight discount. Food was decent but in a super ulu shopping center

Good. Nice service and the food Was nice too! Overall, the food was quiet fresh and taste delicious. The potion of prawn is slightly lesser than expected but other than that. Pretty pleased about this dinning experience. Building itself and toilet is horrible ..

The food not really nice, the crab is small, not worth the value of money as the portion is small. I believe I won't visit the restaurant again.

Food was tasty and service was prompt. We had the following dishes : 1. stir-fried french beans with dried shrimp 2. crispy beancurd with chef's special sauce 3.Sauteed deer meat with ginger and onion 4. Drunken prawn in claypot.

Food prices were expensive but the overall quality of the food was average. Didn't mind that the crabs given to us were smaller as we used vouchers, but the taste was only so-so. However, what I didn't understand was that there were no expiry dates on my vouchers but apparently was told, just as my family and I were done eating and was about to pay and leave, that they had stopped accepting these vouchers. Luckily I had checked with the waitresses regarding the vouchers validity before I ordered the food and told the cashier it was confirmed by their waitresses earlier. Now I'm unsure if I would still be able to use my vouchers again in future.

Yummy! We had salted egg crab, black pepper crab and chili crab, simply love the chili crab! Other dishes like bean curd and Thai chicken was yummy too! Will return again.

Food is normal. Area was hot, as the mall is old as such the air con is no strong. Convenient. With lift form carpark directly to rest.

Food Portion is so small and very expensive. Spend of $240 Not sufficient for 6 adults. We only ordered total of 5 dishes inclusive of 2 crabs. Will not patronise again.

I went there on a Saturday evening, it was a Nice place, nice staffs, a lot of people, nice food serve hot, only parking cannot.

. 2 persons dinner - ordered black pepper crab (1.3kg), chicken (small), vegetable (small), fried Vermicelli (small), one glass of beer and one glass jelly dessert . portion okay but food is only average, total bill is $158.00 . going there expect to eat nice fresh crab, but it's okay only not really up to expectation .... my experience : the crab is not live before cook. 活海鲜 . Worst - the glass jelly is spoiled when serve, I had a spoonful into my mouth and .... xxx What happen to this restaurant ? ( I visited the branch at Serangoon Shopping Centre )

I found that the crabs was fresh, good cooking and made the crab really yummy, and their service is pretty fast. Parking is easy here, just take the lift to the 3rd floor. Lots of sitting. They have some groupon offer, so do check before going.

Staff are helpful n the plc is not difficult to get access to. Except the food if can b further improved would b ideal .

The crabs using voucher are really on the small end. It does not worth the original price listed on the voucher. Might need to weight first before cooking...

Good food but venue quite dessert. Prefer to go to Punggol or Joo Chiat branch. The food serve out fast and there are lots of variety of food.

Excellent service staff they have, we were very warmly welcomed. Portions were ok only for price but we had a good deal voucher so it's ok for price paid. Will return because we really like the service. Watch out for moldy ceiling boards though!

Great service, the waitress was friendly and helpful. She even remembered us from last time we were there! Really happy with the food and location. The black pepper crab was delicious.

We ordered one chili crab dish and found that it was not really fresh. The two claws seemed to be from different crabs with marked difference in texture of the meat too. When we enquired, we were given dubious answer like sometimes when cooking that causes a difference then could be crab was injured. Unlike before there are no longer visible tanks of crabs and numbers on the crab to prove that the cooked crab was the crab chosen. It is sad that one of my favorite restaurants have since deteriorated in standards to such that offers Groupon deals and serves food that is substandard. From the 3 occupied tables on a Friday night, it is clear what the problem is. Food quality is key and their signature dish is done wrong! I doubt I will ever return again.

Really friendly staff. We had the black pepper crab and it was delicious. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone who is after fresh seafood.

Both food and service was average. The chilli crab sauce can be better. Black pepper crab was good. The other mains were also average as well.

Food was average but price was on the high end. One of the staff came over and cleared our table, telling us that we are welcomed to sit until 11pm. But somehow it felt like she was chasing us away.

Overpriced if not using coupon. One of the crabs is kinda skinny when it comes to meat quality. Pepper crab also nothing special compared to chili crab at other places

Awesome service & good food. The staffs were very attentive & recommended some of the nicest dish in the restaurant. The food was value for money but the only downside was that the air con is switched off after 8 plus as we felt that was quite warm. Still, I will be back again! Very happy with the food & Service

The Restaurants Staff are helpful and friendly whenever we enquire for other matters rather than the foods we earlier ordered. I will recommend my overseas friends when they visit the next time. Well deserved experience.

Upon reaching, the staff will ask you whether you are using groupon. If you are, they will tag your table with a blue peg and the food served will be of sub-standard compared to those table without using groupon. I.e. the portion will be smaller, the seafood is not fresh, even the serving style is not the same. Can you imagine 2 persons eating 200 dollars worth of food and it is not even comparable to the 30 dollars zi char you eat anywhere. It is definitely a dishonest shop! 😠😠😤😤

Service are good. The prawn are good as well. But the crab and coffee bone are just so so, little disappointed. Will not try again as it is far from city center.

Expensive and very mediocre food... Crabs were not well marinated, and there are better black pepper crabs out there. Only the service was not bad.
