One feels you've walked into a calm and serene environment when you're at Hashida Sushi. Staff are warm and friendly and the food is delicious.

This was my first visit to Hashida, generally the food was good, but not impressionable. I feel that the shari was a bit loose and I had to be particularly careful when holding it and placing it in my mouth. The main problems I felt was the ambiance and service. Firstly, the chairs were placed too close to each other. Guests were seated elbow to elbow and I feel it was a bit unpleasant. I have been to other sushiya and I understand guests are seated all closely, but in the case of Hashida I feel it was too close for me to enjoy myself as I felt uneasy. The worst part of the experience was the sushi master. Throughout the meal he did not explain anything about what we were eating/he was serving. Even though I have a decent understanding of sushi, I thought it would be nice and courteous if he explained what fish or even just tell us what fish we were eating. Overall, I do not recommend this place just because the ambiance and service just does not match its price point. I believe there are much better sushiya in Singapore.

I came to Singapore just to come here for dinner. This is the second time I have visited this locationa and it did not disappoint - It is excellent Sushi and was an excellent night out.

Food and sake was good, staffs were friendly, we will definitely be back to this fine restaurant. Husband and i had an enjoyable night at the restaurant.

I went there for lunch with a friend and it was a really great experience, not just the food but also watching the chef prepare the sushi was an art in itself. very therapeutic and relaxing to watch!

Excellent sushi (akin to Tokyo edomae sushi standards) with friendly and experienced sushi chefs as well as wait staff. Lunch courses are extremely good value for money!

Presentation and quality of food was great. Staff was attentive to detail as well as pre-emoting any requests and requirements we may have had. Pleasant and friendly. All in a very nice total experience.

Had the $180 and $120 lunch omakases. $120 set was great value, paying extra $60 for the sashimi wasn't worth it. Uni and ikura rice was superb. Japanese sushi chef very friendly and accommodated our dietary restrictions (no high mercury fish). We'll be back.

Fantastic choice of sushi - artful and mastery by the sushi chefs. They are also very friendly and explained the names of each sushi in Japanese and English. Perfectly Intimate

The ambience was amazing - very good service. Food was incredible - really really good sushi. My only qualm was that there were too few sushis served for lunch - would suggest asking Chef upfront on how many sushis will be served, and add on if necessary.

Our lunch progressed a little slower then expected (probably due to having only 2 chefs at the counter). Overall it was a great meal with great service.

Just a fantastic place to have meals. Always consistent in the high quality of their ingredients and family like ambience. The fact that it doesn't have a Michelin star is a travesty

Beautiful ambience of an intimate warm dining room with cypress counter , wonderfully fresh sushi and sashimi , very attentive unobtrusive service , excellent Omakase course , we had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. Highly recommended!

Great experience. Food was fresh and delicious. Was good experience sitting around the counter and served individually. Even our tea was being replenished very regularly so that it remains hot.

Chef Hashida does not disappoint. His selection for our meal left us fully satisfied and craving for more. Although already full from the set meal, we had to end it with another serving of the delectable toro sushi he handcrafts with skill. The cake he surprised us with at d end of our bday meal was truly icing on the cake!

The new premises was more private. Both the sushi chef and the wait staff were attentive and accomodating. Food quality was excellent as expected. A most satisfying experience. Noise level howrver is dependent on fellow diners.

Me and my boyfriend went to Hashida for my birthday dinner. The best sushi ever!! And the service was fantastic as well. We definitely recommend it :)

Chefs were warm and friendly. Decor and ambience were nice too but the food was not mind boggling to be honest. There are other Japanese sushi places in the same league which offer better taste and value.

Hashida serves excellent Omakase set lunch. Had wonderful sushi and that bowl of Uni & Ikura Donburi is certainly the highlight of our meal !

Hashida did it again! It's as if we're eating in Tsukiji market... top notch freshness, and not to mention its impeccable service. Simply love it!!

we had the lunch set. Sushi was decent, some of the pieces were excellent while some were just average. but overall, enjoyed the experience.

The staff and even the chef were really friendly. Really loved the food and especially the really fresh & melt-in-your-mouth fish. The dishes and sushi were simple and served one by one so you really get to taste the original flavours of the ingredients without having to rush through your meal. Highly recommended!
