Great Korean food and really like the kimchi here. It can be quite spicy though.
First time having oxtail & pork soup. Don’t forget to add the salt and pepper if not you are gonna be in for a bland meal. The fresh cabbage kimchi & daikon are the BOMBZ. Goes well with the food. Our only gripe was the rice, it doesn’t taste like proper Korean rice. I think it tasted like American Japanese rice - but we may be wrong too. And at that price point, I don’t think you can wish too much!
They should provide water or barley tea, not just expecting customer to order drinks
Best Kimchi and authentic Korean food! Visited several times and the food is always good!
Always go for the beef soup. With their kimchi, it's really a heart-warming and delicious meal. be a bit more liberal with the salt in order to get the most from the soup!
2nd time visiting and still loving the pancake and kimchi !!
We are here for their kimchi 😋! Authentic Korean food and delicious!
Was looking forward to having some Ox Bone Soup, per their namesake, but instead was disappointed this didn't feature on their menu. Ordered 2 soups - Seoul Beef Soup & Half Chicken Soup ($15.90+ each), as I thought in similar fashion, the soups would be good..... They weren't, IMHO. They were very bland. Granted, these soups are made without MSG & you are advised to add your own salt & pepper table-side, but they were overall very lacklustre. We were told if we added too much salt, they could add soup for us to balance it out. Halfway through, we enquired if we could get a bit more soup & were told "其实我们这里是不可以加汤的" ("actually you can't just add soup like that")..... So I guess there's a pro-tip for you right there. Add a lot of salt at the start, if you want more soup? 🤷🏻♀️ Seems like it's a matter of principle... There's a first time for everything, I suppose. In all, a confusing experience & I didn't particularly enjoy the food. The fresh kimchi was pretty good, but that's not enough to make me want to return.
It was not very crowded so it was not to noisy. Food was good. Seafood pancake was different but good. The broth was naturally flavourful. I didn't add much salt. The fresh kimchi was crunchy and delicious. Overall a great meal at a nice cozy restaurant. Must try.
Restaurant was crowded with a lot of Koreans, feels very authentic but noisy. Really enjoyed the jeon and kimchi!!
love their food! especially their kimchi! would totally go back for it again
Excellent meal. Those we brought were sold from the onset of the first dish.
Saw an ad on Google maps while looking for Korean food and booked here for ox bone soup. Felt catfished because they don’t serve it anymore - said it was too smelly? They only had other soups available but those weren’t good.
beef soup was bland, tough meat. Poor presentation of food. Staff were friendly though.
I love the food AND service, as always. recommended food to get us the bossam and the kimchi stew.
Still the best crispy leek pancake. Ordered chicken soup for the first time. Light and delicious. Definitely will visit soon
Amazing kimchi as always. Soup is also very comforting. Highly recommend
Beef soup and squid leek pancake tasted terrible. Will not recommend
Loved the boiled pork as usual. Coming back again soon!
Place is abit small but the steam pork is good melts in your mouth. Chicken is tender for the chicken soup. Kimchi is nice as well.
Love the food, super homey, especially their kimchi!! Good service
visited for the soup but didnt like the soup kimchi and boiled pork is fantastic as usual
Friendly staff, food comes very quickly and always delicious! Pancake and Bossam are both satisfying
Good food and service. Reservation made in advance is a must
Had been missing the ox bone soup ever since I went to Korea. This place has a resemblance taste to the one in Korea. Will go back again
Good food with no gst charge! Will definitely visit again to try other food
Value for money. Healthy soup! You can add pepper and salt to ur own liking. The boiled pork belly is mind blowing and their kimchi wah superb
Mom came across this place online and we decided to give it a try. A small and cosy dining place, not a lot of seats so best to make a reservation prior to visiting. Food was pretty great but on the pricier side in our opinion.
For our 3rd visit and as usual, the soup was refreshing and the kimchi is ever fresh and delicious. The star is what we come for… the bosum! And it did not fail us! We will be back again soon…
pancake was really good! crispy crumbs was quite unique. kimchi was very fresh too
The food was very good! Loved the soup and was very authentic, the surprise was actually the kimchi pancake! Was very crispy and yummy
Very friendly staff and nice food esp the free KimChi. Though no more ox tail soup in the menu, the beef soup still tastes good with a generous serving of beef meat.
Pancake is a must order. The Kimchi they serve is great too, goes well with the boiled pork
Very good kimchi and owner was so nice to give me free rice to eat with kimchi while waiting for my friend
The overall experience is okay. The leek and squid pancake a bit too oily. Didn’t finish it.
I just found the most crispy pancake. Sliced pork belly is very tender and not a lot of fats. Very friendly servers. Definitely worth another visit soon
Best korean restaurant in SG imo. Food quality is good and prices are very affordable too!
The kimchi is always so impressive and I already came 3times , so good taste !!
Food was really good and the ox tail soup was so authentic, I felt like I was back in Korea. Will definitely be back again :)
Love it!! Will definitely be back for the fresh kimchi and pork bulgogi!!
Every dish are good, pancake is must order. They have searo soju!
Had the beef broth which came unseasoned, and is left up to you to do it. Really puts into perspective how much salt you need sometimes. Great warm soup for those days, though the kimchi pancake is rather oily with the fried bits, though really crispy. Restaurant is rather warm and deco simple. Not suitable for dates, but great for get togethers
Loved the beef bone soup! Kimchi was Delicious! The service was prompt. Definitely recommend this place.
Good food. no GST. can invite friends to come again
We loved our meal there, especially the suyuk and fresh kimchi
beef soup was bland, soup tasted ok after adding seasoning but the beef slices were very tough. bibambap and kimchi was yummy. pancake was crispy and hot but tasted slightly burned and the squid was almost non existing. love the vibes of the place very rowdy and pocha feels lol
made a mistake on the time booking. however the staff is so good! allow us to take the reservation of the later time as we can finish within 1 hour. Awesome crunchy kimchi (refillable). The pancake is really special.. love the pork as well! it will be good to have more tables :) Must make a reservation unless you feel lucky..lol
I've been back multiple times as I love the squid leek pancake, the beef soup and the FRESH KIMCHI! Easy to book reservation, and prompt service. I keep bringing my friends back!
Korean vibe with generous portions of food. The soup is a bit bland but you have multiple options to add flavor to your liking.
Waiter was very helpful in recommending dishes for my friend and I. The kimchi was delicious and soup was hearty.
