good food value for money ample carpark not too crowded
Food is always good👍. Will recommend others to go dine there.
The standard of the food here is still as good!
Good chinese food near the neighbourhood. Thumb up for the taste
The food was great and standards remain high over all these years that we've visited the restaurant. Family favourite for us.
our regular teochew cruisine place.. spacious n good variety of teochew dishes
Very authentic teochew dishes. Yummy and affordable. Will come back here again
First time visiting this TeoChew restaurant, as a Teochew, I would say some of the food served do have the old and original taste of the old days, especially the fried oyster - maybe the oil used is not pork oil. If not, it will hit the Spot of the Famous "Old Hougang Fried Oyster" at 6miles road.
food not so bad. Only minus point is the boss attitude when we told him his fish was not fresh. He kept telling us another table was having same fish as us and they wasnt complaining at all. He choose to believe the other party. If the other table says not fresh and we says fresh then he will tell the other table the same thing we having same fish but we din says fish not fresh. Anyway, you win because boss refused to change the fish for us. So we won't be going again.
Food was great! We had an enjoyable dinner there! Thanks
Food quite good, especially the dessert, yam paste very yummy
Good food , promfet fish is very big and fresh . Roast chicken is tender , Kwai Tião is tasty and has wok hey fragrance. Kong bak is tasty and soft. Overall very satisfied with the food.
We were disappointed with the food standard. The garlic steamed prawns were overcooked and garlic has a funny taste, different from our previous visits. The oyster omelette was the biggest disappointment. It used to be crispy with plump oysters but today’s was floury sofgy with tiny osyters which are overcooked too. Their signature chai po kway teow was broken and clumps together. This will be the last time will not visit again.
Good, traditional and unique taste, relatively good value for money.
Service was a bit slow as it was crowded on the day.
Nice choice to dine at for family dinner and gathering.
Pricey but nice food. Great restaurant for family gathering together
It was a last minute reservations for 2 tables and since we were early, the service was good.
Wide range of choices of food. Bound to be able to find something you like
The red garouper soup was a great disappointment. The fish was not fresh and the soup tasted like salted water. Was a hefty price $70.
Nice place for dinner and gathering. I like this place
overall is ok chair cushion is a bit thinner become lower than table
Authentic teochew cuisine. Food was delicious and service is good.
Popular Teochew dishes were great. Restaurant was running at full capacity.
Like the variety and the setting of the place. Good
The teochew braised duck n tofu tastes great all the time n tonight was no exception. Thumbs up 👍
Overall great dining experience. Worthwhile the wait at the restaurant
Great food. Great night. Everything's good over there. Good
This is one of my favourite establishments. The boss is very friendly
Food price has gone up but taste is just as good.
this is always the go to place for authentic teochew food
Food serving super fast, taste very authentic and delicious. Only the portions are kinda small even when we ordered the big portion. Overall was a great dining experience.
Ordered 5 items, red snapper Teochew soup; braised duck (S), Yam ring (vegetarian); pork n bun (S); chai po hor fun(L) $230 for 7 pax. Consider price on high side. Soup and chai po hor fun is quite good. The rest normal.
Service is good and foods are acceptable. Surrounding was quite.
The claypot tofu is nice and goes well with rice. Cai po Hor fun has wok hei but can do with a bit more flavours. The fried yam coated with sugar makes a good dessert.
Nice for a family dinner. Young and old will like the food, the oyster egg is a must order. Very tasty and yet not oily.
Thanks for the nice dining experience. Will visit again definitely
Service is good, almost like a server per table. Not sure is it lunch time so can have such arrangement. The yam paste is nice and "kung ba pao" is tasty too. Basically, the food that we ordered are good. Jus the steam fish sauce a bit salty but is very fresh including the steam prawns. Thanks.
Good variety of food. Nice choice to dine in at
Good choice to dine at with family or friends. Nice
Great food and friendly service staffs. Food serving are of good portion. Ample parking lots for driver.
The dishes are good especially the Orh Nee which is most authentic one that I have tasted so far.
We loved all the dishes except the fried Mee suah was a bit let down. Thumbs up for the Steam Halibut.
Parking in the building was expensive, but food was good.
This is my go-to place for authentic teochew food.
Delicious and value for money. Will be back again .
An authentic teochew restaurant with many tasty dishes at reasonable prices.
Yummy cooking and good service. Ample parking too. Will return.
Ordered the chai poh kway teow. Pretty good and served quickly.
Food taste is OK. Fish is delicious and sweet to drink all the soup. Premium price fish.
