Perfect atmosphere with perfect service, we enjoyed our dining experience and anniversary celebration there!! It would be even better if the temperature could be a little on the cooling side, as at some point of time it gotten very warm... Still, we love the place and will come again!

Service was excellent. But food was really mediocre, with nothing much to shout about and really small in portions. Ambience was the other plus point, no other reasons to go back.

Lovely atmosphere and decorations. Great food. Attentive staff. Just FYI the room can get a little echoey and loud if too many people are talking.

Food was excellent and service was also very good. Only one point I can raise is that there was not enough choice of lunch course without additional charge.

A beautiful restaurant with excellent service crew. Food is appealing & we loved every bite of it. Not a single dish disappointed us. Surprised us with a complimentary dessert as we were having birthday celebration. Definitely revisit again.

Ambience of the restaurant is great, food is fantastic too. We (3 of us) were there to celebrate a friend's birthday and she got a complimentary affogato as a dessert which was unexpected. Will certainly visit this restaurant again. However, parking is an issue as there're limited car park spaces.

I am a visitor to Singapore. This is a restaurant that I plan to visit during my holidays. It does not disappointed me. A beautiful restaurant. Enough choices for lunch. Excellent appetizer, the portion in the main course (salmon) is small. The best part is the dessert. Highly recommend!

A beautiful dining room with excellent food and great service. When full it is a tad noisy as has wooden floors and high ceiling but still worth it!

The restaurant is located inside the Singapore National Museum, which is just a walking distance from the Dhoby Ghaut Mrt Station. The restaurant decor and settings are very pretty. It gives off a romantic and cozy vibe. The service and food is excellent. Recommend the Lamb rack and Oyster.

The restaurant is located in the National Museum which is the perfect frame for its extraordinary dining experience. We had dinner within the week and we appreciated that the restaurant was just half filled. Decent, competent and very good service, reacting on each guest behaviour and always resp. only be present when needed. I appreciated that wine could be tasted before ordering it. Despite being tempted to go "a la carte", we decided to take their five course menu because it promised us a mix of seafood, fish and beef, crowned with a nice dessert. It was the perfect choice and we enjoyed the chef's creativity composing well known tastes of ingredients to an astonishing new flavour of each dish. We discovered later that they had as well a nice terrace outside with greenery and the charm of the historical architecture of the National Museum. Promised, this will be the location for our next dinner there.

Very good customer service. Had a great birthday celebration for my wife. The guy who served our table was so attentive that he noticed the dessert my wife intended to order and to give us as a complimentary birthday dessert instead before we had placed the order. Food is great too. Price is also very reasonable. 6/6 star for sure.

Lovely fresh and tasty dishes for the value for money set lunch, $34++ for 2 courses and $39++ for three courses. Appetizer of Atlantic scallops, Iberico ham and beans was excellent, my friend's cream of pea soup with truffle oil exquisite with fresh crab flakes. We both had the halibut, mussels, prawn and couscous stew, quite divine with the fragrance of wine in the sauce. Portions are small so hearty eaters may need more of the toasted bread with butter. We asked for one dessert, a tangy pannacotta with Rotella and chopped berries. Would have been perfect if they served coffee with the set. Service warm, friendly, gracious and helpful, that was perfect!

Been away for a while and realize that flutes have moved to the National Museum. Order the beef tenderloin and lamb loin as main and they were good. For appetizer, you cannot go wrong with the wagyu beef carpaccio. and seared foie gras.

Flutes was the first "romantic" dinner away from the kids since our recent move to Singapore from New York City, and it did not disappoint. The ambience was lovely (we were the only one's who chose to sit outside surrounded by the beautiful National Museum of Singapore, as if having a private dinner for two). We started with the pan seared foie gras and scallops....our only complaint was we wished the foie gras was twice the portion size because it was so good! :-) For the main course my wife had the lamb loin (incredibly tender and well prepared) and I had the chili crab pasta (very nice mix of spice and flavor, with a sizeable piece of fresh crab meat still in the shell but cracked for ease....I can't count the number of restaurants where I've ordered crab or lobster pasta or soup with little to no meat anywhere to be found, so this was a pleasant surprise). Finally, at some point during the dinner, we mentioned in passing to our waitress we just moved to Singapore. Then about 15 minutes after our main course as we finished our wine, she brought a beautifully presented dessert plate with "Welcome to Flutes" written in chocolate script along the bottom....on the house! This was illustrative of the service throughout the dinner, which was attentive, helpful and always pleasant. Flutes was a great welcome to the Singapore fine dining scene!

Attentive service and very pleasant quiet environment for brunch. Central location. The menu is kept rather simple and includes popular dishes. Highly recommended for a cosy meal with friends and loved ones.
