Great place for meeting friends in town. Buffet was really value-for-money

Service was excellent by two gentlemen. The spread has reduced since we last went, but the taste and quality are still very good. Do note that Peninsula is undergoing renovations; it is impossible to access the restaurant except from Excelsior hotel. Be prepared to walk an entire floor to get to and from the restaurant! My elderly guests had to walk the length three times - very inconvenient. Hope the renovation finishes soon.

A rare nasi Padang buffet. Sunday lunch $33++. Not massage variety but you have the fav like beef cheek rendang, prawn petai, chicken korma, assam fish, gado2 soup buntup, Roti jala and Mee rebus. Desserts like chendol bobochacha and sago gula melaka would rate food 4/5 ambience 2.5/5 seats are packed too closely to one another staff very attentive though

It is the club lounge for hotel guests. Getting up to the lounge is troublesome as you need a hotel staff to bring you up. Hassle!

The restaurant view was fantastic and environment/ambience for that night was good. The only setback was the food turnout which was very slow. Appetizer & soup was quite prompt but still need to remind the servers but then the main course took like very long to be brought to us. Fortunately, ours took about half an hour but some other customers were served only after one hour or so. One couple gave up and left after 9.15pm without taking the main course( came at 7.30pm ) as they had another appointment at 10pm. The servers tried their best but the issue was at the kitchen side so kudos to them for trying their best to pacify the customers. I
