Have eaten at Clan 7 restaurant a few times over the past year. It is situated at New Tech Park along Lor Chuan which also has a number of other restaurants & cafes. Clan 7 has a number of interesting modern Chinese dishes. They also serve dim sum. Dishes that are delicious are roasted duck with strawberry marmalade, black pepper iberico pork cutlet, sichuan style fried chicken with dried Chilli & si huan peppercorn, Bi Feng Tang crispy fried eggplant with garlic Chilli, etc. In addition, they also serve tasty desserts like seeetened Mach's soup with pearl sago & pomelo, texture iced guava & lemongrass scented jelly with aloe vera & green lime sorbet. Plenty of parking space available. Service staff is attentive & provides good service. Nice place for family dinner.

When I called them for operating hours, they never mention that many items on the menu are not available as they claim that they will be carrying out renovation from 1 April.

Two waitress for the whole restaurant. Really under staffed. But kudos to the both ladies as they were very professional and provide good service despite many tables required their attention. Good job. Food was also nice. I liked the curry fish head and the spinach with three eggs soup.

Nice cosy place for simple dinning. Yusheng is nice with lots of varieties . It would have been great if the radish serving is bigger...$68 for that portion is rather small.

Quality of food is good for price. Waiting time and service was a bit slow probably due to under staffed. Kids friendly.

Our dinner reservation was at 6.15pm but we couldn’t have a few dishes that we wanted to try at the restaurant as they were already unavailable - tomahawk & roast meat trio (no more duck for the day). We ordered spinach trio and found myself chewing on a piece of plastic from a plastic bag in my first spoonful of the dish. In return, staff did not charge for that dish. The other dishes were alright and meat from bbq ribs were tender. It was our second dinner visit here with the first during CNY Reunion Dinner. Experience then was not great either. Doubt we will return again for dinner. The dim sum lunch then was much better.

Food was good. We had the three egg vegetables and the fish hor fun. Roast pork was nice and crispy though wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve had. The desserts - coconut and the mango sago were good too. Not too sweet. Service unfortunately was rather slow and took a lot of waving to get any attention. Even with the restaurant being only half full. Just move to an electronic ordering platform. Why make it so hard for your customers to order more food?

Food portion is good though portion side is on the smaller side. Dishes were served quickly and service was pleasant. Price wise on the steeper side but still acceptable Had an incident with the mango sago dessert. The mango served were rotten. These were changed quickly though had wish I didnt consume rotten fruits in the first place.

The staff is rude while serving the dishes especially for the soup. she nearly spill the hot soup on us while she open the cover rudely for the first time and for the second time of opening the cover she really spilled the hot soup on my husband and without noticing her mistake until we told her. The dishes were meh. Overall it doesn’t worth the price.

Despite it being a weekend diner hours. The servers in the restaurant were very attentive. The environment was cosy and comfortable. The food served also didn’t take too long. Overall the food taste great too. Great for family dinner together, also good to accommodate big family around 10. Only feedback is that some dishes might be slightly salty.

The staff upsell us a pricer fish as the usual fish in the menu was not available. They also said the fish was larger which made it even more expensive. The place was crowded, tables were close to each other and service was slow as they seemed to be understaffed. Probably would not go back again.
