Very quiet on a Monday afternoon. I heard that the Unagi is the best but did not find it so. The sauce is blend and the fish is thin.
Overall, I had an excellent experience at Chikuyotei. The food was truly first class, the service was attentive and gracious, and my dining companions and I were very well taken care of. Definitely worth visiting and recommending to anyone who has not been there yet!
It was absolutely nice serve of Hitsmabushi meal! Good choice for Business lunch
Quality food and environment was great. Will come again next time!
The food, ambience and service are amazing! Is an enjoyable dinner.
You can experience an authentic japanese food in a comfortable setting. ; There is great ambience. Service can be improved.
overall experience is good but seems like not enough staff to serve.
It was good to have a Japanese hall staff there
Food was authentic, fresh, sized well and wholesome. However I felt it could have been a tad tastier and seasoned a bit more.( my personal preference). My dining companions felt it was good. Ambience is quiet and peaceful. Overall good but can do better in terms of food taste.
good quality food. but they should have others to seated not next to our table as there are only two groups... we have business talk.
Food is well prepared, service is excellent, love the atmosphere.
The taste was unquestionably good, but I was a little disappointed in the service staff. There was no final greeting, and the service was very poor for a restaurant in a first-class hotel.
Really like this place, very cozy and comfortable for dining
The food quality always good never got disappointed and hospitality as great as usual
The taste. Genuine top quality even in Japan. Not locally compromised. The lunch menu. reflective of local idea of what the haught cuisine should be which is not how Japanese one is like. But if you ask Japanese waitress, it does have the proper Japanese things. Non-Japanese waitress, are not interested in understanding what she is serving so will not be helpful if you ask questions related to Unagi meals. But this happens everywhere, like asking Japanese waitress in Singaporean Bak Kuh Teh dish in Japan. Yap, there is a few, but they are somewhat mutated to Japanese taste.
Very good value lunch sets are available. Quiet and cost lunch spot.
Varieties of the food is amazing for business lunch and dinner
The food taste doesn’t match with the price. The staff quality is low.
A great place to meet up with friends. Had a wonderful time chit chatting.
Had to book a private room cos they don't allow children in the restaurant but they were kind enough to waive the min spend for the room. Food and service were good.
Did not expect we are the only guests there. Literally have the whole restaurant to ourselves. Shabu shabu (black pork for two of us) is above average . Fried oyster is super good! Fresh and juicy!! My guy wanted to order omakase but i am not a fan of eel. I prefer black pork. The bottle of wine that we ordered is good. Quite surprise they never give free dessert. Service is definitely good since only two of us.
Food was pretty amazing but not all courses. The eel had way too many bones which makes the experience not pleasant.
nice and quiet place to have lunch at with friends
Lovely place, no rush and very jap style. food was great especially unagi
my favourite go to place for unagi meal in Singapore.
Delicious Unagi, would certainly book again. Excellent for business lunch.
The appetizer, main course and dessert are delicious. The unagi has larger than usual bones which you need to be careful.
Nice Japanese food. Expensive but ambience is great, staff are friendly and helpful
On the pricier side but still good unagi in Singapore
The omakase was quite ordinary. The fish sashimi served was fresh. The ambience was nothing to rave about. Waitress was attentive to our needs.
Food was great and filling. Price is slightly on the high side compared to other unagi restaurants.
Service staff were pleasant and made effort to recommend their signature dish. Food was awesome, cook to perfection. Portion was just nice.
Very good food and service but food is pricey though.
Never goes wrong with this restaurant to have authentic Japanese cuisine
Awesome atmosphere , the food was good as well. Will visit again
Their private room is really good to have a meeting and private conversation, also nice to host your guests
Amazing food and relaxed ambience, could be better at service
Fresh and delicious unagi. Good service and ambience as well.
The service was really good and the unagi was the best I’ve tried so far in Singapore 🥲
So far so good, the food and place was quite good
The service is always good and quality of the food.
Made a last minute reservation and managed to get a slot. Food were well prepared, but probably not the best I've eaten.
perfect.for special occasions. best unagi in Singapore! will definitely be back!
Food was great but abit pricey, went during lunch service was prompt and restaurant is spacious and comfortable
Food was delicious and really enjoyed my experience here. Service was prompt and yet not imposing.
Ambience, service and food are great.. price is at steep side but you get quality food with the price paid.
Good quality of food and service. A quiet and nice place to have a peaceful meal.
Good place to entertain customers by nice foods and drinks.
Unagi here may be the best in Singapore. Price is high but it is worth paying for it.
The unagi don is marvellous ! Worth to try their Omakase too !
