We had a great time at this bar, it’s a hidden gem
There were some technical issues with the live music station which was quite disappointing. Didn't get to listen to more than 3 songs for the 1.5h I was there
Restaurant Ambient is reasonably quiet. Food is ok. Hardly any service staff. Time for food and bill takes a long time.
Friendly service but insufficient staff. Had the Penang char kway teow and it was average. Prawns and cuttlefish were tasteless unfortunately. At$26, quite pricey for the quality.
we went after dinner for a second drink after celebrating 2 friends' 50th birthday. e place was cosy and conducive for chit chats. very friendly staff. even offered us a free round of shots!
On arrival there was only one staff and instead of getting us seated she asked “who are we looking for?” Untrained and no customer awareness.
Ambience and food was ok. Unfortunately the band wasn’t great
We arrived early and waited for awhile to go in, one of the waiters looked like he wanted to ignore us while the waitress told him to usher us in first. Still he took his time doing something else before coming to ask us if we had a table. It was just a few minutes so it wasn’t much of an issue. They started the buffet at 3pm sharp. By then the desserts were out for awhile already so items such as the tiramisu didn’t taste good anymore since it has been out for too long (became watery). Don’t think they should put it out so early if the intention was to start at 3. Desserts were mainly chocolate based so the palate gets tired of it quickly. Personally I didn’t go for second rounds. Savouries were okay. The free flow coffee and tea were buffet style self-service dispensers which was a bit of a disappointment since it was really diluted.
