Balqis The Bistro

Food is nice and meat is succulent. However my boys didn't like being commented about not finishing their veges although I think it was alright. Owner just wanted to be friendly....well-meaning aunty. Place is small so for groups bigger than 4, likely we'll be seated outside. Not sure if that's allowed by landlord but if yes, then it could use some decor to make the place nicer. I like alfresco dining.

Food was excellent. Service was great. Loved that the dessert sweetness was tone down a bit. 2 things that could be improve is to have a menu with pictures to give an idea to those who have not tried middle eastern foods and hoping that their bussiness do well so they can have a bigger space for diners.

Excellent service and delectable food. Servings are good to share for small eaters. Must order the appetizer palate, the lamb basmati rice, almond milk drink (with saffron sprinkled on top) and the desser.

Awesome food! Service was fantastic. Staff are all very friendly. Be sure to make reservation as it can get really crowded, especially dinner time. :)

Like the place. Was greeted by the owner once we step in the cafe. The service was very 'homey'. Try some of the menu and they were great.

The food & service was superb and will definately return again.
