Always find ourselves floating back to this quiet romantic spot of delectable coffee, simple breads (which look run of the mill, but taste extraordinary!!!! ).... warm and friendly service always. Albeit short weekday breakfast date, it was well treasured by myself and my better half. Can’t wait to return for a weekend brunch!

Love the food and great ambience for an afternoon tea with friends. The main menu taste great and beautifully arranged, a treat not only to the tummy but a feast to the eyes too!

Tables too close to one another, food and service took too long, asked for medium rare steak and got a very rare steak usually it’s alright but on Valentine’s it just happened to be my worst experience at this place.

Very good service. Crab meat pasta was really good. But the double prawn pasta and French onion soup were too salty. Cakes were nicely done.

Plain disappointing. Giving this rating only for the ambience and the friendly staff. If not is only worth 0 ratings. For the price point and the cakes is not worth it. So much better cakes out there. Standard has dropped drastically in terms of taste of its cakes. Its signature chocolate cake is just a waste of calories, it does not have the balance of the chocolate and Earl Grey anymore. The chocolate biscuit in it tasted like spoiled butter crispy wafer, disappointing . Used to be of much higher standards when the shop first open in mandarin gallery.

Interior design Victorian Style. Desert unique in shape, not sure how it taste. I like the Angus which was good, overwhelming red wine taste too

One of the electrical power was down, yet they brought us to the table, which the light above was not working. So it was dim. We requested to move to another table. Coffee was just warm, not hot enough. But food is above average

There are a few new cakes that tasted great - rich and creamy. The fusion fruit tea was really refreshing. The service staff were also cheerful and polite.

Good ambience, great food. Location out of place, about 10 minutes walk from Lavendar MRT. But this outlet serves breakfast as compared to their Mandarin Gallery outlet which only serves brunch.

Always love the decor and ambience of this lovely place. Food was up to expectation. Sadly we were served by a relatively new staff and water was spilled on our seat.

Excellent! Penhas outlet is so much better than MG outlet, so much more spacious, staffs are so much friendlier, the atmosphere is also less noisy, even my 7 years old daughter enjoyed her meal at Penhas so much more that at MG.
