Really good food and Greece wine. We had a great night at Alati. The only thing we feel uncomfortable is there was a bit noise in the restaurant. I think the problem is the design of the roof. We needed to talk really loud, otherwise we can't hear each other.
Nice ambience and food especially the grilled octopus. A little pricey though. Ordered a piece of cake over the phone to surprise my colleague who's celebrating her birthday but it wasn't served n I forgot about it.
Beautifully laid out restaurant. The menu was just the right size and had something for everyone. The food was nice but not great. Sadly it was really let down by the service. We were constantly out of water and had to call staff right at the back of the restaurant for service. They also got our bill wrong which luckily we noticed and changed. I wouldn't rush back or say it is a must go which is a shame.
Great mezzes! Love the salads. Dellcious octopus and sundries tomato dip that came w the bread is just great. Environment looks a little stark. Request for the booth seats if there's a choice. Found the dining chairs a little uncomfortable.
The ambiance was as lovely if not better as the previous reviews. The greek salad, dips, and pita were superb and I highly recommend these. The lamb, moussaka and pork were sinfully good. The staff was attentive, friendly and very helpful.
Warm, friendly and attentive staff. Comfortable ambience - definitely had a Greek feel to it. Food was generally okay. Ordered the doughnuts for dessert which we found rather underwhelming but this could just be personal preference. An enjoyable evening nonetheless.
One of our favorite restaurants. Excellent fresh Greek food ( fish cooked in salt is delicious), friendly staff and bright ambience. There is only one thing that could make this place better and that would be to add everyone's favorite Greek dessert, baklava, to the menu.
Second time there - had the skewered chicken and mousaka again. Food was consistent and fantastic. Also tried the dips and pita bread! Yums.! Truly authentic.
Excellent food and excellent service from the moment we were sat down until we left. Has been consistently good at my 4th visit to Alati. Will keep going back.
Great restaurant with great food and service. Party of 5 paid about 60 bucks each for a meal including salad, fried calamari (starter), grilled fish (main), grilled chicken skewer (main) and moussaka (--> this was so so good!!!), and chocolate mousse for dessert, and we ordered a bottle of wine too. Everything was great except that there was a big party of about 20 pax sitting opposite us which made the whole restaurant so noisy that I literally can't hear my friends sitting 2 seats away (I think the other patrons noticed the noise too) though you can't really blame the other table, they seem to be having a great time! Otherwise, the restaurant itself was great! Happy to have tried this place :-) Note: We brought a bottle of champagne and the restaurant policy for byob is $40 for corkage but if you buy a bottle from them, no corkage charge, which was really fair and reasonable so we bought a bottle of red wine from them :-) great policy!!
Food was excellent. Nice deco & feel like in Greece. We requested a quiet table but we're not given the table in the quiet area. Otherwise the service is ok
Delicious all round ! Loved the clean white/sky blue Santorini decor (clean bathroom too) the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating... The food was absolutely scrummy .... Actually fabulous ... I'll definitely go back ... Soon 😃
Delicious! Fresh ingredients, well seasoned and cooked. Decor also felt authentic. Would highly recommend the Tzatziki and warm Pita, along with the Greek salad and grilled Octopus!
Good food, for greek food. Quite tasty. Portions looked small but actually were very filling! The decor was especially nice, felt like i was in greece again.
Great and nice ambience to hang out with friends. However, the "main course" section is not very vegetarian-friendly as I'm not a salad person. Fried cheese is yummy but eggplant is too saltish for my taste.
Loved the food , especially all the starters. The fava dip and the meatballs a must order. The place got quite noisy towards the end of our meal which in a way got us going from there to a quieter place, so did not get a chance to try the dessert . Will recommend it surely!
Restaurant looks nice and new, staff friendly and service good, food decent but with small portions, extremely pricey for what you get. Prices should be 15-20% lower for what you get to make this a great dining option.
Boasts an authentic Greek atmosphere. Food was exquisitely delicious, especially when paired with divine wine. Order the salt-baked sea bass. The Greek waitress serving up the fish is an interesting sight to behold. She was friendly too and enlightened us a lot about her home country. I can't wait to go again to try out the meat dishes!
The food was good but we all prefer another Greek restaurants in Singapore - We also found it a little too chique to be a Greek restaurant so overall, a 4.
I love the setting. It's like a Greek home and food is authentic Greek. Great place to take photos too and I love the sofa seats and cushions.
Great food and ambience! Loved the service as well and the attention to detail with the layout inside the restaurant. Makes me feel like I'm in Greece again!
The calamari starter was chewy and I was totally disappointed with the over cooked lamb chops (should be slightly pink) and chips. The menu said lemon potatoes and in Greece that is NOT chips with a lemon dressing! No atmosphere either.
Great food & wine!! We tried the salt baked fish~ Delish! We enjoyed ourselves a lot and the waiters were very hospitable! ! ! !
Superb food and service but let down by middle table with little room and only one of four advertised fresh fish selections. 4 might be a touch harsh but a 5 is too high so more a 4.5
It's really beautiful the ambience:) the service was really good and the salt fish is a must try!:) really pleasant meal for on my birthday!
We liked the food and the service quite well. We will recommend that restaurant! The menu is restricted, so don't expect to many different dishes.
Good food with reasonable prices. Highly recommend the grilled fish, calamari and octopus. Dips are also tasty. Service is earnest but seemed slightly overwhelmed by the full restaurant. Will definitely be back.
Good choice for Greek food in Singapore. Relatively expensive, but decent food. There's not a lot of choices for Greek food around. This is also in a good location
yummy n good service. Everything was delicious. We have the crispy parwns ( yummy but tad salty), grilled octopus, sea bass was divine. My niece enjoyed the Langoustine pasta, actually we all did. Mousakka was also good. We didnt have a bad dish
Very good food and fair cost. Service was a little sloe this time.
We had a fabulous meal at Alati. My friend from Greece recommended this place to us because it is authentic Greek food. We loved it and will be back again.
Lovely service, food and atmosphere. Manager was kind enough to let me in and choose my table when I went there couple of hours before it starts its evening operations. Service crew were warm and friendly, the sea bass we ordered was also fresh and well grilled. Definitely a place to come back to try the rest of the menu!
THE best octopus my girlfriend has ever had!!!! Lamb was unreal . A great wine choice. The service was quick efficuent and polite. Will be back!!!
Food and environment excellent. Only comment was that the cutlery wasn't changed from one course to another. However didn't takeaway from a great evening and we would return
Very good service and the atmosphere was lovely. The food however while well cooked left something to be desired. The octopus was perfectly cooked but a bland. The same for the Taramosalata and the chicken. The Greek salad was nice but the feta was also a bit tasteless. The spanakopita had a really nice filling but was fried instead of baked which while crispy took away from the dish.
