Went for 4 course meal and staff recommended that he will choose the best dishes. Bill turned out having extra charges which he did not inform beforehand that there will be additional top up for the dishes he recommended.

Attentive service and food was good. The truffle pasta with caviar was yummy and the trout dish was accompanied with interesting spicy pickles and a tangy Asian inspired sauce. The apple crumble was well executed with a twist and was refreshing. The chocolate mousse is competent too. Worth the walk!

Lovely, quiet and romantic place for lunch. Server was friendly. He even gave us a nicely decorated Happy Anniversary dessert plate. Great value for money for 2-course set lunch at $28 per pax, comes with coffee and tea too. We can choose appetiser and entree or entree and dessert. So btween 2 persons, we chose 1 appetiser, 2 entrees and 1 dessert. Hence, we got to try everything. Complimentary breads, chesse sticks and yuzu ice sorbet. Simply awesome.

Everything was great. Steak was exceptional tender. The aircon was a tad bit too cold.

My wife and I would thank Mr Rudy, the manger of waterboat house, for all the arrangements that he had for us to experience a sumptuous dinner and wonderful view of the firework at the same time. The dinner was great and a team of wonderful staff. Thank you.

We had to pay $30 cover and then weren't able to use the "everyday" happy hour special - additionally, the pizza wasn't delivered as advertised (different toppings than menu indicated), there were people smoking around the food service area, and the food took a long time to arrive. Not a well-planned service for what is sure to be a crowded night due to the NDP festivities.

Nice atmosphere & ambience. Even had a patio for R&R. The bar at level 3 is very enjoyable with a good view looking out to MBS & Esplanade. Will definitely revisit

Food is nice, lunch set value for money, will go again

A return to this restaurant after more than 4 years and everything didn't change, if not gotten better. The service was impeccable and the genuine effort the staff put made us feel welcomed here. An interesting selection of dishes on offer and the chefs are always ready to try new stuffs. Price is fair for the quality we got and we will certainly come back again!

Seriously the portion ? Really it would not eat into your profits if you just increase your portion a little . It’s way too small . It’s not value for money ..food is ok though , the wine pour is perhaps 40ml ? It’s not even half is the glass .

My friend the birthday gal & me had a good experience at 1919 attended by the Manager Rudy. He was humorous & friendly & brought us on a short tour. Food was delicious & value added. Kudos to the chef & staff too. We will be back for the rooftop bar having a unrivalled view.

The food is way better than expectation and serving is bigger than expected too! Awesome and mouthwatering food:) However, could have been better if they have added a candle to the dessert for our birthday celebrating (I didn’t request for it beforehand, as I though they will add it automatically hmm). Ordered the 4 course meal which is supposed to come with a drink. But the drink was not served to us though! Overall, still a splendid restaurant with good food and good view.

Great food. From my perspective as a young student, this was a gem and bang for the buck to experience a proper dinner course for a special occasion with my girlfriend.

Rudy and his team provided an exceptional service. From being so attentive whenever we needed something, to helping us take photos at various spots, etc. Service was beyond words, food was amazing, ambience was pleasant. Perfect place.

Service was good. Spaghetti starter and sea bass was good. View within the restaurant was kinda restricted, but the good thing was you could actually step out to the balcony to a view of the Marina front.

Everything is great - ambience, staff knowledge and politeness, knowledge - just that there are two exceptions to the good review here: 1. Food preparation time is way too long. 2. I was asking for the seats near the smoking corner, was told the section was closed for the evening only for 5 minutes later the same person gets customers to the area without any courtesy to explain or offer me.

Awesome food as expected. But service by a particular waiter fell short of the usual good service that we have experienced. Nevertheless, overall it did not disappoint. Thanks for preparing a surprise birthday dessert for our guest!

The restaurant manager was extremely attentive and friendly from the time we arrived till we left. Knowing that we were celebrating a birthday, he even gave us a complimentary dish as well as 3 glasses of champagne. The restaurant's food was delicious and the ambience was perfect for a girls' night out! As for the rooftop bar, view was stunning but service wasn't up to standard. There weren't a lot of patrons last night but their staff seems busy all the time. We sat at the smoking area and it took them forever to notice us even with our hands raised. Staff had to come back to us at least 4 times to check on what we ordered, which was quite frustrating honestly. Will definitely be back for the food again though!
